They are always very professional and do great work. I've actually referred them to my neighbors. The last time he was here, I had an issue with a faucet. He told me that the type of faucet I have actually comes with a lifetime warranty and helped save me money!

PERFECT all around ! For sure top quality work . Friendly. Answered all my questions/concerns. Great prices ! I have had Gene Wagner over at my moms the past two weeks for some moderate and very major jobs, and plan on having them perform a few more jobs over the next few weeks. The task earlier this week was an all day task, the ones the week before was a couple of hours task for the two jobs. SUPERB experiences !!! Very very happy with results.

It went really great and the time and effort it took to get this done was simply a cake walk. I called it in and had the work done later that same day and it was done in less then an hour by a very nice person named Jeff.

The company sent one man who told us he had resolved the problem by snaking the drains and we paid him that day. A short while later the problem returned. Needless to say we were astounded to have to deal with this horrible smell again so soon. They sent another man. This second man said that the problem was "very simple and ordinary" as he went into the manhole in the street and found lots of roots blocking our drain! He removed them in an hour or less and was gone. He reminded us to have this done yearly. We were surprised when we received a bill for 2 hours! He was only here at the most 1 hour. We were ALSO disappointed and surprised that the company kept the money we paid the first man who did a job that did not resolve the problem at all!.-that first day my husband said to the man that he thought it might be roots. The man ignored him. We are disappointed with this greediness and lack of pride the company displayed. The second man did the work well! He was a real professional. The first man seemed like a new apprentice. We rated a D Overall instead of an F because the second plumber did fix the root problem.

I found a large damp spot on the ceiling which suggested a leak. It seemed to come out of nowhere, so I was a little freaked out! I called Gene Wagner around 1:00 PM - the dispatcher said someone could come at 4:30, maybe earlier, and that they would call when they were on their way. I got a call around 4:30 saying that the plumber was on his way, and he arrived about 15-20 minutes later. I showed him the leak on the ceiling and the bathroom above. He inspected both locations and then told me that he would have to go up through the ceiling, which I had anticipated since the leak was not directly below or next to the bathroom. He prepared the area below the leak to prevent mess. Once he found the broken pipe, he showed me the damage and told me that the next step would be to replace the pipe. He answered my questions about the potential causes of the damage and condition of surrounding pipes. After replacing the broken piece, he showed me the repairs and supplied the itemized bill. He recommended that we leave the hole in the ceiling open for a few days to make sure there was no additional leakage or damage, and recommended a drywall person when I requested it. The whole thing took 90-120 minutes. All of our exchanges were polite and pleasant, he was very willing to answer questions and explain the situation, and the price seemed reasonable to me.

John was very punctual. After looking at the area of the potential gas leak, he made the recommendation we contact the gas company to come out and inspect all the gas lines because they would do it for no charge. We contacted the gas company and in the mean time the drain work was completed. John waited a few more minutes after he was done in case the gas company would arrive, which they did. He made quick work of fixing the leaks found by the gas company. He was great with our kids and explained how the pipes work. He also let them watch the water flow through the lateral.

It was easy to set up the appointment, the provider arrived on time, the approach was validated and the work was done professionally. My only problem was the cost of labor. The actual time it took to complete the job was about an hour and a half for a single person and the labor charges were $300. I find $200/hr for plumbing services to be quite excessive.

HE REPLACED THE BATHTUB FAUCET. BECAUSE I DIDN;T ANSWER RIGHT AWAY, IT COST ME MORE MONEY. SO THEY GOT ME IN THE NEXT DAY TO DO THE JOB.HE CAME THE FIRST DAY ON 6-3-15, I DIDN'T ANSWER RIGHT AWAY, I WAS CHARGED $120 FOR THAT HOUR FOR NO WORK BEING DONE, I DIDN'T KNOW IT COST $120 PER HOUR. HE EXPLAINED THAT THE TILE NEEDED TO BE KNOCKED OUT AROUND THE FAUCET TO DO THE JOB. I SAID OK, HE SAID CALL THE OFFICE TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. I DID. THE NEXT DAY, THEY SAID BETWEEN 10-1PM. HE GOT THERE AT 10;15AM & WAS DONE AT 12:20PM, HE CALLED ME & TOLD HE IT WAS $613. I ASKED WHY IT WAS SO HIGH? HE STATED A 2 MEN JOB TO REPLACE A BATHTUB FAUCET. I CALLED THE TENANT, THEY SAID IT WAS ONLY 1 GUY WHO SHOWED UP. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I DID CALL TO COMPLAIN AFTER RECEIVING THE INVOICE. HE SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK, STILL NO CALL. THE FAUCET COST $183 WHICH WAS A MOEN, NO PROBLEM WITH THAT THE LABOR WAS $390.TOTAL HOURS BILLED 3 1/4 HOURS. REALLY.

It went real well. They were here in a day or so. They also put frost proof outside faucet so that it wont freeze in the future.

With the high cost of electricity, I decided to replace my electric water heater with a new hybrid high efficiency water heater. I purchased the water heater through an internet store. Through the wonderful reviews on Angies List, and that the company has been in business many years and in the area, I chose Gene Wagner Plumbing to do the installation . David arrived earlier than scheduled. He removed the old heater and hauled it away. Since this was his first hybrid water heater to be installed, he read the directions carefully on how to install it. These new units are taller and wider. and need extra space from the wall for servicing and proper airflow. David was very conscientious in the installation. Total process took 3 hours, including verifying the new water heater functioned properly.

From the moment I called Gene Wagner, I felt immediately at ease. During the last heavy rainfall, our sump pump failed. I, like so many other area residents, called Gene Wagner. They were really busy that day, but I was assured that they would get a plumber to me by 4 pm. John arrived around 3:30 and had everything done in less than an hour!

The plumber that performed the services was Karl, and we were very happy with the work he did. He was very polite and professional. He explained each thing he was going to do, and as new problems were discovered, he explained what the options were for solutions. We would definitely hire him again. I didn't grade the price of this company, because I don't really know how much something like this should cost. However, I was figuring around a thousand, based on what he said the hourly wage was and materials, and it came pretty close to that.

Be sure to check all the charges, because when I talked to them on the phone, it was one amount, and when they came to do the work it was a different amount.

This is the third time we've used them and we've used them for my brother-in-law's house. They do an extremely good job. The fact they're they're extremely competent. They have very nice attitude. Every time we have them, they've been really pretty good people. Everything seems to workout fine. They were right on time. I will definitely use them again.

Toilet seal had been installed two years ago by a different plumber, but started a seeping leak two days before I called Gene A. Wagner. They were able to get a plumber to me within the hour. Carl was prompt, and the office called me fifteen minutes before he got there. He was OK with me watching him work and asking questions about the job. He said "We believe that an informed customer is a happy customer." I will call Wagner the next time I have a big problem like this. The house-call charge was average & included the assessment but of course not the labor involved. H The bill lists the parts prices & was clearly stated. Oh, he also cleaned the mess that had been accumulating under the toilet while it was seeping, as well as the floor area around the toilet before he applied the clear seal around the base. I'm very happy with the work, care and courtesy I experienced.

Called on 1/5 when water heater started leaking. ( wagners installed our last water heater in 1996). Andy arrived on time and explained what needed to be done including replacing water heater, shut off valve, gas shut off valve and hot water pipe into the heater. Andy was friendly and professional. Good job in a timely manner.

We had water dripping from our kitchen ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. I called Gene Wagner Plumbing the next morning and they were very helpful, explained what they would do and scheduled an appointment for the afternoon at the time I requested. The plumber arrived, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I was very happy with their service provided.

When I called, the people I spoke with were very pleasant and helpful. They gave my an estimate for the work over the phone which ended up being within $100 of the total cost which was acceptable given some of the work I needed was not straightforward and estimated based upon what I explained over the phone. They were able to schedule my appointment for the day I needed. The only negative was that they arrived 20 minutes late; however, that was not a huge deal for me. Andy reviewed the options with me and was excellent at providing suggestions for the work to be done . In addition, he pointed out that my humidifier was hooked up to the cold water line and was done by piercing the pipe. Since he was connecting my new line there as well, he switched the humidifier line to the hot water line and installed it with the appropriate valve and shut-off. He also recommended that I change the humidifier pad (as I had never changed it before) and explained to me how to dissemble the unit to remove the old pad. Andy completed the work within the time that was estimated (in addition to doing the extra work). This is the second time Andy has done work for me and I appreciate his suggestions and willingness to explain things. Overall I am very satisfied with the work and professionalism.

I called the morning of the 28th and got an appointment for late morning/early afternoon. Karl arrived a little after 10 AM. He got right to work to fix our problem and tested the system multiple times to make sure all was well. He was at our home for about an hour.

Great. We have used this company several times in the past and have always appreciated their fine service. Karl was the particular plumber on this visit and he demonstrated that professionalism which will ensure our customer loyalty.

He was on time and the job took about 1 hour and cleaned up after.

I have used them twice so far and they have been very good. They are very good. In fact he was so prompt he was here in 20 minutes. He was really quick. They are very responsive and I think their prices are fair too comparing it with other plumbers. I didn't go to other plumbers and have them check it out because I needed somebody and I knew I could just rely on them so I just used them.

They did a great job in all three visits. They were efficient and professional - friendly, but without wasting time. The first visit was a quick in-and-out. On the second visit, the plumber found the leak quickly, and gave us several options for fixing it. We chose the one we felt best fixed the problem, and he finished the job in less than 40 minutes. On the third visit, the plumber pointed out a problem that we (and the home inspector) hadn't noticed, and, again, suggested a couple of options for fixing it. Again, we chose the option we wanted, and he went to work, finishing it all in about an hour. In all three visits (with a different plumber each time), they were clean and professional, and careful to clean up after themselves. They even combined the washer disconnect and install into one bill, for our convenience (even though they were three days apart). Good job, guys!

He was great, very nice young man. Everything is working correctly now . Everything went well and is working fine. Saved my sink. He was also right on time.
