Description of Work: Needed help replacing a main water shut-off when the old one wouldn't completely work and I was installing a water softener. It was 4:00 on a Friday. They said the technician on call was at a job but would be at my house by 6:00. He arrived ahead of time and replaced the main shut-off valve and cleaned up some other solder joints and was done within an hour. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: We have used Gene Wagner for many years for repair work, and when we remodeled our office bathrooms last January we used them. They did a great job, on time and their cost was fair for the extensive work done. They also customized it for what we wanted and yet to fit our budget.

Description of Work: On 10/25 our bathroom tub starting filling up with water and would not drain down. I made the call to Gene Wagner Plumbing and a very nice woman took my call and was able to get a plumber over to my home very quickly. Water had also been running into the basement so I appreciated the quick service. Karl arrived at my home and was familiar with the house. Three years ago I had a lateral replaced on the outside and we were both concerned that another lateral further down might be causing a problem. He brought in the equipment and started snaking the lines. Around 60ft out he located the blockage. After working the lines he broke through and we were both very happy. He was very knowlegable and careful about trying not to contaminate the surroundings! I really appreciated that he kept me informed about everything he was doing so I had an understanding of the problem at hand.I was very relieved that it could be handled in a fair amount of time.He made sure that clear water was flowing down into the sewer.I was very happy about the result of this job. On 10/29 I had Karl come back to complete the plumbling in an upstairs bathroom that was started many years ago. I felt that with his experience he would be able to work with any problems that may arise. We had two faucets installed with rough in completed,finished roughing in and installing a toilet and finished shower faucet trim and personal shower kit. I provided the faucets and the toilet and the personal shower kit. All other supplies were provided by my plumber. Some problems arose and Karl was able to make everything work out o.k. It took time to resolve some of the issues,but he did a fantastic job for me.I would not hesitate to have Gene Wagner's plumbling back for any situation that might arrive. They are a great company to work with and a special thanks to Karl for doing a great job!! I rated the price as good because I believe that any plumbing job would be costly,but the results of my job were well worth the price I had to pay!!

Description of Work: the plumber rodded my sink and tub in my main bathroom. He also rodded the sink and shower in my lower bathroom. He was punctual quick courteous.

Description of Work: He installed a new waterheater and all necessary new pipes and shut-off valves. He also installed a new toilet in the basement which i had purchased before hand.. He repaired the kitchen facuet. He removed old toilet, waterheater and any packaging. He made sure the area was cleaned up before he left. I was very pleased with the work done by the person sent to do the job and would recomend this company.

Description of Work: I needed to find a 12 inch drain hole cover for a garage floor drain. I think I called 40 places to no avail. This place said they would try and locate one for me. They called back in 20 minutes and had exactly what I needed.

Description of Work: Sump pump malfunctioned on a Sunday. It had been running quite a bit after heavy rains. Put a call in to a very sympathetic person who had a plumber contact me soon. We discussed the problem and he offered me the options of replacing the pump now or waiting until Monday to save money and told me how to empty the crock manually. After doing this for awhile, I decided to replace the pump then, and he came over and was very professional and polite. Pleased with the whole experience.

Description of Work: I had called another plumbing company for an estimate because we were not sufficiently getting water pressure and our pipes are old. They gave me an estimate of almost $1300. Tim came over from Wagner Plumbing and within 5 minutes had diagnosed the problem. He found a bypass valve on my water softener and turned it on. This cost me nothing. Tim was very knowledgeable and professional and HONEST. He also talked to me about other aspects of our plumbing and was very helpful. I would definitely hire him in the future. It is nice to find someone who is competent, knowledgeable and HONEST.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my shower and an identified water leak in the basement. The plumber corrected the shower leak immediately and determined that the basement leak was connected to the furnace.
