Everything turned out well. I can count on their reliability and they do quality work. They also work quickly and do not waste time. They are prompt, professional, and courteous.

We were provided with a variety of options and the length of time to service for each. We recieved next day service. The cost was similar to the estimate.

Tim from Gene Wagner plumbing was great. He was able to make some suggestions based on our needs. He even offered to do some of the other work we needed. We ended up going with someone else who could do the others things sooner. But we did have him manage the washer/dryer installation and the bathroom work. The job was done quickly once we got it scheduled. He even met individually with my mother to be sure the handicap accessibility bars were installed for her height.

Very very well. The best part about this story is that when I called in the morning, they told me that someone could come out early in the afternoon, so everything was completed the same day. It was great, very easy, and they've done consistently excellent work in our old house.

They charged $113 an hour. He was nice, but he was not here an hour. They use that extra time writing up the paperwork and just stalling around to make that hour. There was a $5 fuel surcharge also, and I had a $10 Angie's List coupon.

Great experience. Will use them again in the future and would recommend to others.

Karl was extremely nice and helpful. He did the work quickly and explained in very good detail what he had done and what was causing the problem. We were extremely pleased with his work, attention to detail and professionalism.

One thing that I didn?t like was that he didn?t take his shoes off after he worked on the pipes. So it made a mess in the basement with all of that junk. His boots were wet with the black sewage. I also had him work on the 2 bathrooms. He trailed that all the way up the stairs on the carpet through the family room to the other bathroom. I was not happy about that. However it was my fault and I should have told him after he walked on the carpet. He did a fine job. He was nice and courteous. He came out fairly quickly. Their price was average.

I called Gene Wagner plumbing at 7:00 am on Wednesday morning and they told me they would call between 11 am and 1 pm that day when a plumber was going to arrive. They called at 12:42 and the plumber arrived at 1:05. The plumber assessed the situation and went to his truck, where he had the replacement parts on hand. He was able to replace all of the leaky valves, and explained to me what was wrong with the old valves. He did an excellent job cleaning up after he was done and making sure I understand what work he did. He left at 2:35. In this instance and my prior experience with this company, they charge a $5 truck fee (which is great!), but they also charge you for the time it takes for them to drive from their previous job. So even though he got at our home at 1:05, we started getting charged at 12:35. Lastly, while I enjoy a friendly plumber, I felt that he chatted a lot and could have gotten the job done 15-30 minutes sooner if he wasn't so chatty and didn't take as long writing up our bill. Part of that could be my fault, but at $113/hour, I would hope for more courtesy towards my time/money.

On Saturday morning of a holiday weekend, bathtub suddenly drained very slowly and when toilet was flushed water backed up into the tub. Called Gene Wagner Plumbing, We were told of the cost of service call and they said the plumber would call when he was on the way. He did and arrived within an hour or so of our call. After trying to use the snake down the toilet and the tub drain with no improvement, he opened the stack and found tree roots in the line going out to the street which he cleaned out. Very professional, courteous and left things cleaned up. We have an odd sized plug on the stack which could use a replacement, he did not have one in stock but said he would notify the office to try to get one and would let us know. We were called during the following week that they were unsuccessful in finding us the correct size plug.

The plumber arrived on time and worked consistently throughout the time he was here (about 7 hours). He cleaned the drains inside, then cleared the sewer lines outside. While cleaning the outside lines, he found that the line from the house out to the street was blocked and he recommended we get the line scoped with a special camera (which required another appt. on a different day). After the outside lines were cleared to the best of his ability, the plumber installed a new utility tub in basement, shut-off valves to wash machine and replaced some old pipes we wanted replaced. The company returned the following business day, did the scoping of the pipe out to the street and determined we have a cracked sewer pipe, which is stopping rain water from reaching the pipe in the street. Due to cost, we decided not to have them fix the pipe, but rather to disconnect our downspouts from the city sewer line.

They were superb in doing the work. They were on time. Their estimate was within a dollar. They were very pleasant and managed to move up my appointment.

I was highly impressed with this plumbing service to the point that I sent a thank you note! I had a liaison come out initially who didn't mind we were late (although we were embarrassed). He was the first plumber to give an honest answer that he would search for the porcelain handles on our tub vs. selling us a whole new system. They did track down a set and ordered them. Although the 2 sinks were not a recognized brand, they did their best to change the gaskets with "matching" parts. It was successful as we haven't had a problem since! He also did great follow up and called to make sure we were happy. Awesome company.

They showed up on time. The first person came and fixed it and the problem started again within a week and they sent a different guy out and he finally fixed it. They charged me each time they came out. I was not completely satisfied with their service.

Although the plumber arrived later than originally scheduled, he did the work in less than two hours. Because we asked for a change to the pitch of the pipe that goes out through the wall, he checked with us before actually drilling the new hole. He answered all of our questions politely and cleaned up after himself.

When we called to set up an appointment for an estimate, Tim was able to come out within a few days. He arrived on time. However, he joked around a lot so we weren't sure if he understood the plumbing services we needed. He said he would get us an estimate but never did. When I called to follow up on the estimate, Tim did not return my phone call.

A representative called during the previously agreed to window of time to say that a representative was on his way. Approximately five minutes later John arrived. He clarified work needed and my preferences regarding it. He was great with my son who was interested in his work. He cleaned up his work areas when finished. Our invoice was appropiately detailed with anticipated expenses.

The crew came out right on time and worked very efficiently, which is nice since they bill by the hour. They were very net, tidy and clean throughout the project.

I called with an emergency. They called me back within an hour on a Saturday and were out within an hour and a half. He really seemed to know what he was doing. He was quick and did not try to do any unnecessary work.

THIS HAPPENED ON MEMORIAL DAY AFTERNOON. CALLED THEIR OFFICE; THE TECH CALLED ME BACK WITHIN 15 MINUTES; HE ARRIVED 20 MINUTES LATER, RIGHT ON TIME, FIXED THE PROBLEM; LEFT NO MESS; VERY POLITE.

Called Sunday evening after discovering leaking pipe in basement. A return call was received Monday at 7:45am & someone was here by 8:30am. He was quick with his work and explained things clearly. Fixed pipe and also fixed bathroom sink. Very happy with service. Will use company again.

We were very pleased with the service. Our emergency occurred at the time we were having the extreme cold snap - on a Saturday afternoon. This was the second company we contacted; we received a call back within 1/2 hour. The indication was that someone could be here within the hour - acknowledging that it was double time for Saturday work. The person arrived within the allotted period, replaced the necessary pipes and tested to be sure there were no leaks.

They arrived right on time, professionally dressed, polite and professional -- he fixed the problem with the sink (it wasn't a pipe, actually, it was the seal around the drain), replaced it quickly, and then took the time to fix our leaky faucet -- which hasn't leaked since. This was so impressive to us, because we had different plumbers in last year, who tried to fix both problems and ended up fixing neither. It was a great experience, I was very pleased.

Gene A Wagner Plumbing Co Inc is excellent. I had a clogged drain and they came within an hour and a half. They were prompt, professional, very fast, and they have very reasonable prices. I have used them three times and I know that they will not take advantage of me in terms of pricing.

As earlier stated, a great guy to work with. He was slow in getting an estimate to me though, and it was the most expensive of the four I received--double of the company I went with.
