 + -1 moreThe estimate time was 3 weeks, it took actually 7 weeks, due to extra bleaching required, they said. They were very professional and helpful when we stopped in to see the progress and are very happy with the results. It was worth waiting for!
Description of Work: We had a large two piece pine hutch refinished and changed the color from dark pine to light pine. This involved stripping, bleaching, restaining and finishing.

 + -1 moreFurniture Medic called before going forward with staining and asked my opinion with regard to stain colors and offered suggestions. Ultimately we decided to go with a dark stain with decals stained lighter. The end result was beautiful. It was hard to imagine that I was going to get rid of chest.
Description of Work: Furniture Medic refinished an antique cedar chest that was in such bad shape that I had seriously considered giving it to a shelter or store that would benefit from selling it. The piece had to be stripped and re-stained. Also, there were some minor repairs needed.
