The guy from Fuchs showed up on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 7:00 a.m., he was very prompt he actually was 15 minutes early, he unloaded his equipment he immediately got to work at 7:00 a.m. he removed my old furnace and installed a new 95% High Efficiency Furnace by Armstrong Air. He stayed in the basement the whole time from start til finish, he was very professional he was done by 2:00 p.m. I will definitely recommend Fuch's Heating and Sheet Metal again. I found out about this company through a home ownership class and am very pleased and he showed me how to turn the furnace on and he also showed me how the furnace ran with the two-stage system. This furnace is very nice and quiet.
Description of Work: I had a Central Air Unit installed by them a week ago and then I found out that I needed a furnace due to my sewer backing up in my home, so I called fuchs on Monday, August 30, 2010 and they installed my 95% High Efficiency Furnace by Armstrong Air. I am very thrilled that this company was very prompt and very professional as well as nice. My guy showed up at 7:00 a.m. and he was done by 2:00 p.m. I would definitely hire them again, but I do not think I will have to because I have a brand new HVAC system now.

WE HIRED THEM TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY DID PREVIOUSLY TO REPLACE OUR FURNACE AND INSTALL CENTRAL AIR. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME. ALL WORK DONE ABOVE AND BEYOND, TO CODE AND WORK WITH OUR LENDER.
Description of Work: ADDED DUCT WORK TO PROVIDE HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING TO OUR BASEMENT, INCLUDING 6 VENTS, 2 COLD AIR RETURNS, AN EXHAUST DUCT AND A FRESH AIR INTAKE.

TOM DIDN'T DO THE WORK THIS TIME, IT WAS HIS BROTHER. GREAT EXPERIENCE OVERALL. GOOD PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. HAD A TOUGH SITUATION AND HE FIGURED OUT A WAY TO MAKE THE INSTALLATION WORK FOR US. CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF VERY WELL.
Description of Work: ADDED SOME REGISTERS AND RETURNS IN OUR BASEMENT, MOVED SOME OF THE DUCTWORK TO ACCOMMODATE WALLS AND DOORS AND INSTALLED TWO BATH FANS.
