It did not go well. The locking sand on the patio wasn't installed properly and never set in some places, is missing in other places allowing weeds/grass to grow through, and has been washed out of the joints from rain in other places, causing sand to accumulate on top of the patio. Bushes that were supposed to have been completely removed are growing back. Perennials planted are not thriving because they were planted too early in the season and it snowed on them, so I have garden beds full of dead plants despite my watering them twice/day for more than a month. The contractor refuses to acknowledge the issues, won't make things right or give us a partial refund, and suggested we hire a second contractor to re-do the patio (which I believe to be an acknowledgement of his wrong-doing). His crew was unprofessional, leaving their trash and cigarette butts behind at the end of each day, and urinating on the side of my garage. Do yourself a favor and move on if you're considering using Ryan and his team.
