Forester Tree Service

Big branch fell at property blocking driveway, called Forrester and they came same day to provide estimate and next morning to cleanup. Quick and dependable when I needed them. In addition gave some good advice on the health of the tree.

Forester was recommended from a neighbor, for a project where we needed approx 15-20 ash trees removed. Our neighbor indicated they had the right equipment to do the job. I thought this sounds perfect - as most of our trees are in precarious locations. I first contacted Forester in March 2020, they indicated they would come within a week to evaluate the site and provide a quote - no show. In May, I again contacted Forester - they said they'd come by end of week to evaluate and provide a quote - no show. (you'd think I'd give by now, but I thought they had the right equipment). In June, I again contacted Forester - same promise no show until July 11 (a Saturday) at 6pm (Dylan showed up). When he was here, he argued with me to take down trees we didn't want to take down - I understood his point, but wanted to defer that work, but he had an attitude about it. Despite the inconvenient time, we walked through my property to show him the trees. He said he'd have a quote by end of the weekend. I never received a quote. August 13, I contacted forester to ask about the quote - no response. August 20, I again contact forester about the quote. August 21, they ask if they can come visit tomorrow to look at the property to provide quote. At this point, I was done, and said - no thanks. I had high hopes this company would have the right equipment and experience, but based on the above story - covering 5 months, I lost trust.

did not provide estimate as promised

the arborist did not give a timely estimate or a time frame for the estimate. When I contacted the company office for an explanation they said that they felt I should go to a different tree service company. I said I would go to a different tree service company but I still would like to know what the problem was in my estimate request. The company responded that they could not do what I was requesting.

Job was done quickly and efficiently with advanced equipment. Very satisfied with the work.

They responded quickly. They did the job as it was scheduled. The cost was better than other people gave. There were no problems. They were easy to communicate with. What I didn't like about them is that I had flowers in my yard. I expected some damage to my flowers. But about fifty percent of my flowers and grass was damaged. I had to plant new flowers. We had to fix the grass because it was destroyed by the tractor and crane. We had used a different company before them who removed two trees. We had a great experience with them. But with this one I don't know what happened. I decided not to buy anything this year. I will see if the flowers come back next year. We have a border. They destroyed that. We had to dig in to put them back in. That's what I didn't like about them. They cleaned most of the debris. But I still had to clean some. There was a tree on the side and back of the house. My neighbor said they were not careful where they were throwing branches. It was a mess just watching them. It was awful. I was upset. That's what I didn't like about them.

Superb job!

The owner and his team arrived on time, had everything planned out and completed the job in a timely fashion. One tree was within a couple of feet of the garage and the other next to a fence. They had to work in a very confined space as my house but did find spots to setup their equipment. They worked safely as a team. I am having them trim the tree in front of my house next week.
