Debra did an amazing job. My sofa NOW looks new. She was extremely particular and I couldn't be happier with the result. I would highly recommend her.

Great!!! Deb did an outstanding job on everything. She made new cushions for two chairs that are so comfortable and look great now. Deb was also able to redo cushions from a sofa, also a terrific job. Deb knows what she is doing and is able to suggest the best approach. I highly recommend her. Debra is a true artist and craftsperson. I had a barrel chair that was used as a scratching post by cats (despite having 3 scratching posts already) and damaged. Debra responded promptly to my requests and offered suggestions to repair it. I took her recommendations and then she did an outstanding job in tying the fabric into the existing undamaged areas. Her work was done quickly and professionally, and ahead of schedule. I will be recommending her to anyone looking for upholstery work.

Perfect. I had an old chair from my grandmother's bedroom. It needed new cushions and skirt. Deb was helpful and responsive. We scheduled as her calendar allowed and she was up front with costs and time frame. She kept in touch with updates and was able to book me sooner than expected. The result was a professional redo that is gorgeous!

Great. Debra reviewed in detail the process for me which I appreciated since it is the way I operate as well. The chair and ottoman were old pieces belonging to my parents so they were in need of updating. I was and am very pleased with the end result. The chair looks very nice next to my new couch along with wonderful memories it invokes. I am contemplating having another chair redone next year.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the service provided. The craftsmanship is excellent-the cushions are identical to the to the previous ones. The communication was great as well-I always heard back from her promptly with any questions. I was also very happy that she completed the project in only 10 days.

Impeccable. I am very particular when it comes to the pattern being centered and the chairs matching and Debra did an exceptional job. There is virtually no difference between how the chairs look and the pattern is perfectly centered on the back, the top, and the seats themselves.

I had six dining room chairs to be reupholstered and Debra did an outstanding and quick job! I couldn't be more pleased! She had me purchase the fabric (which I got on sale at JoAnn Fabrics) and took the chairs and the fabric to her and she did an amazing job! I love them! I would use her services again in a minute. Excellent! I apologize for the delayed review, as Debra deserves better! I feel like I found a hidden gem, a real craftswomen - expert in her trade. I brought 1 chair to Debra (works out of her home) for an estimate. Debra made a number of recommendations, including having the wood work surface fixed up by a carpenter she works with (for a very reasonble price). She did not sell-up, salvaging the parts of the existing padding that were in good condition. She had tremendous patience as I looked for the right fabric (took me about 4 months). During that time, I asked many questions and reviewed various fabric options with her, until I selected the right fabric. When ready, I brought the remaining chairs, and the actual work took only a few weeks! I was so impressed when I picked up the chairs. We are a family that uses our formal dining room set at least once a week. A year later, I think of Debra every time I sit down at my table, and I appreciate her meticulous, beautiful work. I would highly recommend her to others, without any reservation.

It took about two weeks to do this which I thought was fast. She let me pick out the material so I got to go to the store and purchase this myself. She gave me the left over material which I used to make throw pillows. I would recommend her to friends or family. She was just terrific and I loved working with her. She does an amazing.

Awesome. Debra's work is meticulous. I am a very particular person when it comes to attention to detail. The ottoman is curved on one side with a pleated multi-section skirt and an attached cushion. The pleats lie flat and the cording is straight and taut. Debra replaced the foam in the cushion with a more firm product and reshaped the curve. The ottoman was completed in less than 2 days and looks amazing. I highly recommend Debra for her craftsmanship and professionalism. She a genuinely nice person to work with.

She provided wonderful work. She went out of her way to save on materials that she thought she could reuse. She provided a dry cleaner near her home to dry clean the covers. She even picked them up for us. When she inspected the covers, she gave the cleaner again and requested that they redo the cleaning at no cost to us. She felt there were still some spots that had not come out with the first cleaning. The cushions are wonderful!! They are firm and look brand new! Debra was wonderful to work with and very professional! I would definitely recommend hEr to friends and family. Thank you, Debra!!

Outstanding! We are in love with our "new" chairs! It was a pleasure to work with Flair Upholstery.

It was worth the investment to have our chair recovered and she did a wonderful job. The chair that was in the family for YEARS (grandmother gave the chair to grandson and it had been used for 20 or so years with no upkeep). So this very sad looking chair was dropped off at Deb's shop on April 9th so she could measure it and let me know if the material I had on hold would be enough. She inspected the chair, gave me a quote and was told that the material would be more than enough. Dropped off the material on April 13th. On April 27th I picked up the chair along with the left over material (I intentionally bought a little extra so I could make some decorative pillows). It is BEAUTIFUL. The original feather seat cushion was redone with new ticking and more feathers added, so it feels like a cloud. The workmanship on the chair itself is beautiful and the chair looks like new. The chair itself was built very well, but Deb did do some re-tightening of the springs under the seat. She also had to do some hand sewing down the back of the chair, which was not expected, but was done beautifully. There are 24 or so buttons that needed to be covered and replaced in the chair back and arms and she also provided and extra button (just in case) but the buttons are sewn in so well I don't think we will need it. Overall, I LOVE the work and am so happy to have the old chair back in our living room. I would go to Deb again.

I inherited a chair from my grandmother about 30 years ago. I had it re-upholstered at that time, but by now the color had darkened and the fabric on the seat had worn through. We covered the seat with a bath towel for a while to get through the holidays. After the new year, I started slowly looking for someone to bring the chair back from its dilapidated state. I found Flair Upholstery on Angie's List and gave Debra a call. She looked at the chair and gave me an estimate of her charges. Debra's business is in her home, and she does not sell upholstery fabric, so I was able to shop around. I found a wonderful fabric at a great price on the Internet. Debra and I decided how much fabric to order, and I gave her a call when the fabric arrived. I dropped the chair at her home, and she had it finished within a week. She replaced foam on the seat as well as the upholstery, and now the chair looks and feels great!

I had purchased fabric to re-cover my dining room chair seats. Working with a pattern, I realized that I don't have the patience (much less the skill!) to do the job as I'd like it to be done. Debra was professional from our first conversation, and the entire transaction was both simple and quick, and I'm very happy with my "new" chairs. They look wonderful. I'd recommend Debra and Flair Upholstery anytime.
