Description of Work: Shampooed the carpeting

Description of Work: When I called to schedule my dryer vent cleaning I was told there was a mistake, that they didn't know who approved it, but their company did not provide that service. She said their company had already contacted Angie's List to ask them to remove that deal and that when she last checked it was down. I am highly suspicious that the real reason she didn't schedule me was because they had too many people buy at a very low price and they didn't want to honor it. A BRAND NEW deal was reissued days later. The company description on Angie's List also says they do dryer vent cleaning.

Description of Work: I purchased 4 packages so that it would cover the whole houses' hardwood floors and carpet. Then I called the provider a few days later and they had no record of me until I gave the order number. We scheduled the service date for 2/18/13. One hour prior to arrival they called and said that they don't clean hardwood floors anymore. I asked to have the owner call me which he did later. He said he no longer can get the wax so they stopped cleaning hardwood. I asked him why wasn't this mentioned to me when we set up the appt. He said his secretary was new and probably didn't know. I said I had new tenants moving in and this would screw up there schedule. He said there was nothing he could do about that now, he said he would get that ad removed from angie's list. I said again that they could have told me this when I called originally, not 1 hour before the appt time. I told him I would have to give a poor review for this. He said if I did that he would show up at my front door looking for me.

Description of Work: This company did the "spring clean" of our 28 foot cabin cruiser boat. They did a great job cleaning the floors, carpeting and upholstery and for a great price. Our boat was in the water at McKinley Marina and they brought all their equipment with them. I would definitely recommend them for this service.

Description of Work: Bought a big deal through angie's list. No response to email or voice message that I left when I called. Angie's list was very helpful in getting in touch with the provider and refunding the money I had spent on the big deal.

Description of Work: Great. On time, great service, and when asked if he could change our pre-bought deal for a bedroom of carpeting to stairs, he simply added it on for next to no extra fee. Recommended.

Description of Work: We had 2 rooms of carpet cleaned and one of them with some spots on it. Overall the Carpet looks great! The service was extremly friendly and fast!

Description of Work: Found vendor in Angies List advertisment. Contacted the vendor by phone and scheduled an appointment. The advertisment listed whole house duct cleaning for $149. The vendor arrived on-time per the appointment and immediately began to up-sell items that were not included in duct cleaning -- like furnace cleaning and duct/vent sanitizer in the amount of approximately $500.00 additional cost. Vendor was not happy that some items were refused, but then offered steep discounts as incentive to buy. The work was, in my opinion, shoddy at best. Vent covers were damaged, the furnace does not appear to have been cleaned ($100. cost), and the areas where he worked were left filthy. He wanted to sell an additional carpet cleaning and after he was done, the carpet needed it. I did not use this vendor for carpet cleaning and would not use him again for any service.

Description of Work: We had a large, L-shaped couch cleaned which (though it was 20 years old) had never been cleaned before, except for the removal of a few spills from time to time that we did ourselves. It was pretty sad. Not only did we have a cat that took naps on it for years, but I myself slept on it for 6 weeks following an accident in which both my ankles, one leg, and my back were broken. So when we spotted a "deal" on Angie's List for Extreme Steam to clean a couch, we happily signed up for it. The employee at Extreme Steam who answered our call was extremely polite, took our information quickly, and made an appointment. At precisely the appointed time on the date set the employees showed up to do the actual cleaning. They were very courteous and well-trained, answered all my questions patiently, and set to work. Within a half hour of arriving they were done and gone! And, like magic, my sofa looks brand new. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend and use this company for any future furniture or carpet cleaning needs.
