Ryan was easy to get along with, responsive, and professional. I've hired many plumbers for my water filtration business, and I think Ryan is among the best. I would easily hire him again, and recommend his business for any plumbing work.

It went superbly. Have been having a problem with the toilet for several days...sometimes it would shut off when flushed, but other times it would not. I purchased their $29. plumbing service special and was very pleased. I called Ryan on 5/28 and he said he could come at 10 am on 5/29. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, completed the job in question without replacing parts unnecessarily, did the house plumbing inspection and gave it his seal of approval and even showed me how to operate my jacuzzi bathtub. I will definitely call him again if/when I need a plumber.

Ryan came and did not bring in any equipment to fix the drain, but I led him to the bathroom. He remembered that he had snaked out the drain about a year ago. In two minutes he found the problem. My stopper for the sink (which was attaced to a nut below and I did not kinow how to take it out.) was full of gunk. Ryan had it off quickly andshowed me the problem. Once it was cleaned the problem was fixed. I was a little embarrassed that I had not found this easy solution. However, when he put the stopper back he unlatched it so I could now take it out easily and clean it. As he walked out the door Ryan said that he was not going to charge me for this trip and fix, but that I should just call him the next time I needed a plumber. This surprised me. I don't think many plumber would say something like this. However, the next time I have a problem I will definitely give him a call.

I was so happy to have the Angies List reviews to help me choose a plumber yesterday. Our water heater "went" yesterday and I contacted Ryan Schraufnagel of Dickenschrauf Plumbing and couldn't be more happy. What a great guy. Ryan answered my call and I didn't expect him to be able to fit our job into his schedule on the day I called - but he did! Ryan went above-and-beyond by coming at 5 p.m. to install our new water heater. So, nobody in the house had to skip a shower today! I highly recommend Ryan.

What can I say, Ryan is AWESOME. Our water heater started leaking on a Sunday afternoon. I tried calling many plumbers in the area, but not a one returned my calls (I'm sure due to being overworked from recent heavy rains). When I called Ryan, he was extremely friendly and said he could be at our house first thing in the morning. It took him and another gentleman less than an hour to disconnect and remove our old water heater, and install our new one. He followed up with us a few days later to see how it was all working. Top notch service in my book. While I hope I never need a plumber again (yeah right), if I do, Ryan is first on our list. I'd definitely use them again.

He came out when he said he would. His price is great. And he does great work. I would use him again.

Around 9:20am Ryan called and apologized for being late saying he was dealing with a flooded basement problem and would arrive as soon as possible. He arrived at 10:25am and got right to work. He unbolted the toilet, replaced the wax ring with a new one, bolted it back down and tested it. He was very efficient and in 20 minutes, the job was completed. He honored both the $25 first time customer coupon and the senior discount. My husband and I were very pleased with the service and the price.

I called Ryan this morning and inquired about installing a new sump pump and a new hot water heater. He had time the day I called so we set up an afternoon appt. He arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. Installation went quickly and he cleaned up after himself quite nicely. I was very pleased with the process and will definitely call this company again.

When the worker arrived, I gave him a tour of the dripping faucets, leaky toilet, and severed-pipe front faucet fixture that I wanted repaired. There was a simple insert that should stop the dripping from my kitchen faucet, but he didn't happen to have the one I needed, so we agreed he'd bring it the next time he was in the area (I live in Racine, he's out of Milw.) He tightened something on the toilet tank, and said that might fix it (It started leaking again a few weeks later, but I had approved the 'wait and see' approach.). He said I most likely needed a new faucet in the bathroom sink, and that should fix the drip and very low water pressure (I have quite an old house.); we agreed I'd pick out a faucet that he could also install next time he came (to insert the kitchen faucet item). He inspected the area that was dripping from the upstairs bathroom into my kitchen, but ascertained it wasn't a plumbing problem, but an architectural one, so that was okay, and it was nice to know the cause. When the worker went into the basement to examine what needed to be done to repair the front hose spigot et al, he did a general inspection of all my pipes down there. (Have I mentioned I have a very old house?) When he ran his hand along one of the pipes in the only finished-off room in the basement, it burst! He took immediate action, moving things out of the way, repairing the pipe, and helping me sustain minimum damage. [If that pipe had burst during the middle of the night, or when he otherwise wasn't here, I'd have had substantial damage to my property and belongings!] He not only fixed that pipe, but installed a whole new outdoor faucet (to which that pipe was leading). So, although my faucets still drip, my toilet still leaks, my water pressure is still low, and I have no functioning outdoor faucet in the front of the house, I'm not living in a swamp, still have most of my belongings intact, and that for just $99. What I would call a great deal. This worker was very knowledgeable, thorough, pleasant, and professional. Although money is always an issue with me, I'll call this company again when I can't stand the drips, leaks, etc. any more (or when they offer another good deal!). I recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

In the fall of 2012 we purchased the $99 - 2 hours of plumbing from Dickenschrauf. We called immediately to schedule a service call, but because of a vacation and an increase in business, we were told it would be weeks before anyone could come out. My husband ended up fixing the leaky toilet himself. In March 2013, we needed a new kitchen faucet and work on the dishwasher, so we called Ryan and he said he would honor the $99 special, even though the expiration date had expired. Very pleased with the work and will definitely use Ryan again.

Very well. Another plumber said they would have to tear up part of the basement ceiling. Dickenschrauf only needed to put a very small hole and was able to conceal it easily.

It went very well. The serviceman was prompt and nice to deal with.

Needed a new water heater asap, owner showed up on time, qualtiy work was done fast. Owner removed old unit and billed me at a later time. Great service, no complaints.

I would recommend them. It all went well and they finished within the hour they had.

Very responsive and was out the same day, got the sheet rock cut and fixed the leak. I like that they made some recommendations on how to prevent this type of leak in the future and used better materials/parts to fix.

I purchased a big deal coupon (I can't recall the exact amount of the coupon) to have a faucet replaced and toliet reset after removing a handicapped riser. The plumber scheduled me quickly, arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and within the timeframe purchased with the coupon. Very pleased. I would hire this company

Mike arrived, was a little delayed because of an emergency, but called us to let us know he was on the way. He fixed 3 toilets that were leaking. He was efficient, no mess and we would have him back again.

The plumber that came and did the work was very good at his job and I was very satisfied.

I bought the Angie's Big Deal for 2 hours of plumbing services for $99.00, which expired on Dec. 27th. I didn't need the services immediately, but on Christmas day we had a overflow in the toilet, and water leaked to the basement, which led me to think our toilet needed a new seal. So on Dec. 26th I called the number on the "Big Deal" -- someone named Ryan -- and left a message explaining that I hadn't needed the services until now, and I had this "Big Deal" from Angie's List that I had purchased which expired on 12/27. I told him what I thought we needed and left my phone number two times in the message, and asked him to please call me. He never returned my call, even to say that he couldn't do the work in the time frame of the big deal coupon. Not too happy. I lost out on $99.00 and am leary of buying other "Big Deals" now, even though the ones I bought previously were OK.

I was extremely please with the services performed. The only additional thing I needed to pay for was a new garbage disposal. I even added another issue during the visit and it was all completed within the amount I paid for. Good Job!

They were hard to get a hold of. They came for part of the work and we needed a part for the rest of the work. He said he'd call when the part came in. We waited over a month for him to call before we called. It took a few tries to get a hold of him and he said he had gotten the part. Why he didn't call, we don't know. He worked twice on our toilet to fix it and it still does not work properly. He also charged us double because he had a helper with him. We were not told that this would double his bill. He was pleasant to talk with, but other than that, we were not pleased.

Two men arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and after being shown the project they immediately got to work. One did the outside work while the other performed the basement work, which made the whole job go very smoothly. They were polite, neat, clean and very efficient. We would definitely recommend Dickenschrauf Plumbing Solutions to anyone needing plumbing services.

Ryan knows his stuff, however he has been impossible to find. I hired him based on various reviews on Angie's list and we agreed on a set of tasks. He was supposed to fix a leak in our toilet, however all the wax rings in his vehicles had apparently melted due to the heat. He promised to return at a later date (if needed) to change the rings. I contacted him several times afterwords to change the wax rings but he simply stopped responding and hasn't performed the remaining tasks. He seemed to be professional, efficient, friendly and trustworthy at the time but I am afraid I have to change my opinion based on my follow on experience. Update: After getting in touch with Ryan again, he came back and completed all the work and more to my satisfaction.
