Look at my photos. He was late. Didn't text back or telephoned and still was late. TWICE. We drove and took off work for this guy... I am self employed and COULD HAVE BEEN WORKING. Unfortunately one of the people waiting only gets off one or two evenings per two week period. All he had to do was politely tell his current estimate folks he had another appointment scheduled already before theirs. He could have also excused himself to call. The MOST disgusting part was him telling me that he has his own crews and doesn't hire Mexican workers. I told him thats not a worry of mine as I speak Spanish. He didn't get what I was saying. Im hispanic, dude. Quit the racism.

Other companies had long lead times to get an estimate/ site visit. Dave came out the next day after calling him. Dave and his crew gave my best quote, got working the next day and knocked it out quickly.

Fast & great service. Great price. Would definitely have Dave & his team do installation for us again.

We comparison shopped and got a few other estimates. Dave's was the most no-nonsense and within our price range. Dave provided an in-home estimate and really took the time to listen to our needs as well as our budget. We will definitely call again when we replace the carpeting in the other rooms- likely next year.

It went well

The bottom line is that we were very pleased to have worked with Dave and his staff; and, the carpet that we had installed, a sun room, dining room, living room and back hallway (with five landings) was very competitively priced. Please consider using Dave and his crew for your flooring needs.

All in all, it was fine. Not STELLAR, but fine. I was selling my house and needed some inexpensive carpeting for one bedroom and a hallway. Dave came out between two of his other jobs to take measurements and show me some samples -- which I appreciated -- and to my delight was able to do the job within a very short amount of time. Dave's demeanor is on the serious side and he doesn't smile much, but he is informative and direct. So, my options were at least clear even if I wasn't terribly impressed with his serious demeanor. I was not present when the carpet was installed, but my family friends who were on site indicated that the installers were punctual, friendly, and hardworking. They cleaned up after themselves. I'm not sure why one hallway and a small room would be $439, but it got the job done and the carpeting looks very nice. I would not rule out using them again in the future, but I would also shop around a bit more as I was pressed for time on this job and had to make a quick decision.

After several consultations, including a failed and frustrating install by a big-box carpet company, working with Dave at Dave's Carpets was fantastic. I am in sales and customer service, and Dave did everything right from the beginning. We were in a crunch to have carpet installed prior to our son's 1-year birthday party. I called Dave at about noon, and he agreed to meet us at our home at 2 p.m. Dave asked me some questions over the phone, and he came prepared with carpet samples that were very close to what we were hoping to install. He offered a nice selection, and was not pushy or limiting with his suggestions - it was clear he just wanted us to find something we liked. After a bit of deliberation, we made our decision. Dave said he could install by the following Monday, but would try to improve. He called back and was able to install 2-days later. (This also included a custom-bound runner installed on our wooden stairs, otherwise he would've installed next-day!) The installers arrived as agreed, and they were very kind and respectful. They worked hard and the finished product was great. To top it all, Dave called within an hour of the completed install, to make sure we were happy and to wish us the best with our birthday party. We will recommend Dave's carpets to friends and family in the future.
