D&G Garage Doors & Openers

Overall service was excellent! Both of our garage door springs broke on a Sunday. We're new to the area, so we called around based on Angie's List finds. The first few places were booked up, or didn't service on Sundays at all. We finally found D&G, who answered our call right away, and sent someone out to help us within a few hours. Jay, our serviceman, was very professional, and was in and out within 45min. He also tuned up a few things around our (old) garage door to help prevent further issues. D&G did charge an emergency service fee, but also honored the 10% off coupon that they posted on their website, and gave us two more 10% off coupons upon services rendered. Overall price was a little higher than some competitors, but based on availability and professionalism, we would definitely hire them again.

This is a rental property and the tenant called me about an inoperable garage door opener. D&G scheduled an appointment quickly. The repairman had everything needed to replace the faulty opener with him on the truck. He was polite, efficient and explained the problem and what it needed to be fixed. The repair required a complete replacement of the operating system which meant new remotes. He sold me an additional remote so that as landlord I had a remote for myself and 2 for the tenants. Although I would have liked a repair that didn't require a total operating system replacement, this job was done well and the tenants were not disturbed.

Ryan was the technician dispatched to my house to look at the garage door opener and give me an estimate for repair/replacement. He repaired the opener on the same day, gave me lots of info about how the garage door opener works, sprayed some lube on the door and tracks to make it quieter, and he gave me an estimate on how much longer I can expect the opener and the door to last. He was very thorough and professional. I would recommend him! I gave somewhat lower marks for responsiveness and punctuality only because the appointment was originally scheduled for Saturday morning, and they had to reschedule at the last minute. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

In and out, quick and easy. It did take two visits, and I was a bit disappointed that the old door sat in pieces on my driveway for two days, but otherwise, all went fine.

The repair man who came was very nice, however I feel that the representative I had spoken with over the phone could have advised me the exact same thing the repair man did. In less than 5 minutes he was able to fix my garage problem. The sensors were covered and therefore the garage wouldnt close. The very first thing the repair man asked was if my lights were blinking. After he saw that they were he easily identified the fix and again this is something that could have been done over the phone and I could've saved 79.00

I placed a service request (claim) through my HSA and Dustin from Dand G called me within minutes of me filing my claim online. We scheduled an appointment and he was very accommodating with my request to call me before they would arrive as I needed to leave work to meet them. Overall, there really wasn't anything wrong with the door. A few adjustments were made and the servicer (not Dustin, somebody else I can't recall) cleared the codes from the Chamberlain which is what I thought it would probably end up being. I also had a keypad installed which took just a few minutes and works great. While the service was prompt and professional, I was a little surprised and disappointed I was charged the $100 deductible which my HSA would have charged had the charges been above and beyond for services that would have been covered. This ended up being a general service call and didn't require anything additional so had I known I was going to be charged this I probably would have just called Joe Wilde or another garage door servicer whose service calls are in the range of $79.95-$89.95. I felt like Dand G charged me the $100 service call...because they could. I indicated I would use them in the future, but only after considering what their typical service call charge is. The overall service was great and for that reason I do recommend.

They did a great job! They were on time and their prices are very resonable. They were all polite!

Dustin was extremely helpful over the phone. He took me thru a few troubleshooting procedures and was able to help me get the door to close until he could come out to fix permanently. Within a day, Dustin called me back to see if I would be home on a Saturday or Sunday so he could come out to look at the door. I didn't need Dustin to come out because the mechanics on the garage were working again. I was throroughly impressed with Dustin's professionalism and his follow up and would recommend the work of him and his team to anyone that wants a positive experience. I've had 2 experiences and both have been extremely positive. A++ in my mind. Anytime I need work done with my garage door /garage door opener I am definitely going to call them again.

Some of the cost was covered by our home warranty. They were a service provider sent by our home warranty company. They were very responsive as they came out the next day. They tried a repair and a couple of days later it was not working well and they replaced the garage door opener after that. The guy did a good job and it has worked well ever since.

Service was prompt (within a few days - mine was not an emergency call). They came out on a rainy Saturday morning, and the repair took about half an hour; the guys were pleasant. I requested a quote to replace the door in the future, and the estimate seems reasonable.

Dand G was excellent they did exactly what I asked for with out going beyond what was necessary to repair my door. They were prompt, quick and neat. They did an excellent job at an excellent price.
