His kindness to do two hrs. of work for nothing was extremely appreciated; hence the high marks. I'm still new at working with angies contractors. They all have different ways to estimate the details clearly. Clearly is exactly what it should be before they get to the house. Do the Homework and they'll be no disappointments.

Description of Work: He had to reenforce ceiling support in order to supprt the chandelier. The only probem with the service is we asked for an estimate on other work to be done this year; to this date(2weeks later) we have not heard from him. A little disapointing.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken light timer for outside lights and worked to troubleshoot problems with a lampost.

Description of Work: I was impressed with the speed and professionalism of them. Cost was high, however I did call another local company after I recieved my quote and that other company stated that my quote from Current Electric was what they would have charged as well. Electric isn't cheap from anywhere =( I'd call them again though!

Description of Work: I had Current Electric come to install 2 lights and a kitchen fan. The electrician installed the lights and then discovered that my kitchen fan worked (I had thought it was broken from the day we moved in.) . The vent had been painted shut outside so he got on a ladder and chipped away the paint until the vent door was released. I didn't need a new fan. I appreciated the extra effort and honesty.

Description of Work: I didn't have much for the electrician to do but he did it quickly and with professionalism. Since I had so little to take care of, he asked if there was anything else I could think of for him to do so I would get my money's worth. Good experience.

Description of Work: Electrician removed existing light fixture and replaced with my new fixture and hook kit to center over the table. Installed a dimmer switch. Replaced several receptacles and switches. They waived their service truck fee of $45.

Description of Work: Put in a new outlet in bath room and several other misc jobs. My complaint was the price got out of control. The original plan was to spend a day. It ended up being a two day job with extra help brought in and the overage got out of hand. I felt like I was at a car shop with a mechanic who had thought he had an open check book.

Description of Work: I had five different electrical problems that needed to be repaired and/or replaced. The electrician called me before he left his shop and told he was on his way to my home. He told me his name when he called me. So, I showed him the five electrical problems that needed to be repaired and/or be replaced. If I had any questions he answered them in a way that I would understand. He needed parts and other replacement items and went to Home Depot to pick them up. Which I thought was great. He purchased just what I wanted. Would I hire this company again? Yes, I will every time I need an electrician.

Description of Work: My kitchen was too dark near the stove, so I bought a recessed lighting kit. Current Electric had a deal on Angies List, so I signed up for it. John came out, completed the work and did a really good job! Now the stove area has more than enough light! The job was completed by a professional, so it was done right, no concerns there. I'm glad I found the special on Angies List; never considered Current Electric before, but would definitely call them in the future. Very happy with the results!

Description of Work: They fixed the exterior light sensors, replaced another light fixture, a light above the bath tub.

Description of Work: They repaired the power in the garage and also electrical problems inside the house.

Description of Work: Changed out the old non-grounded plugs, connected a new plug, troubleshot a faulty ceiling fan, gave an estimate for the electrification of my garage, and changed a dimmer switch to regular.

Description of Work: Put in new fan boxes for 2 celing fans, installed 2 new dimmer/fan switches, new wiring for each switch, installed one new celing fan, and reinstalled old ceiling fan.
