Description of Work: We had already purchased the services of Elite Electrical so I thought they could perform the service and no longer needed Current Electric. However, I gave Current Electric an A because they were very prompt at contacting us to try to arrange for the service to be done. In retrospect we should have probably had Current do the service that we had intended Elite Electrical to provide, but did not.

Description of Work: Current Electric Co. did some electrical work for us. They did some circuits in the basement for water heaters.

Description of Work: Check a dead receptacle, check Circuit Breaker Box. Found a burnt out circuit switch (if you read the small print on the Breaker Box door, it states that the switches are only warranted for one tripping. Oy). He replaced the switch and tightened up some other lines that the losers who installed the box originally did a poor job on.

Description of Work: This was the first of several followup visit to implement the whole house suveyed conducted earlier in the year. Work included updating the main grounding system,mainwater bonding,and intewrsystem bonding. In addition a new main surge protection protection on the main panel. All work was done by the electrician who did the inspection. he arrived on time and was very helpful explaining what was being done. V ery thorough job.

Description of Work: installed a ceiling fan in living rm that did not have access yet. Had to go to attic (there is a easy access to attic) make a hole in the living room ceiling and than run a line down from attic to first floor to make a connection. THis is a ranch style house. I was just taken back by the cost of the installation. $520 -200 for Angies' list coupon= $320 plus the $99 I made through Angies list. Too rich for any consideration in the future from that company.

Description of Work: We needed miscellaneous electrical work done as we recently purchased a new construction home. They added soft lighting in our bathroom, moved an electrical outlet along a wall for our den. We were very pleased with the result of their work and would hire them again.

Description of Work: Had 2 light fixtures installed. They did a very nice job and were very careful with the fixtures, one was a chandelier. The service person was very professional and pleasant. Wore booties while in the house so as not to track in any dirt. He cleaned up when finished and also did a very good job at that. I would use them again.

Description of Work: The technician, Derek ran an existing 240 V circuit thru 15 ft of joists and installed a single outlet in my garage For $475. He had me sign an authorization to do the work without discussing the price. I felt committed to work with him since I had purchased the coupon. He also replaced 2 GFI outlets and changed a circuit breaker for $245. If he had disclosed the prices before,the work was done, I would have had him do only the $245 job. He cut my 30 ft, 10 gauge Romex extension cord into 2 pieces ant then took a 25 ft section along with him without my permission. He was here 5 hrs, if you include the time when he drove off to pick up parts. This works out to roughly $150/hr vs the $100/hr that your coupon indicated as the going rate for electrical work. His office delayed for 6 wks before offering me all of $45 when I complained about being over charged, the lack of disclosed prices before work was done, and the theft of my heavy gauge extension cord. It's his word against mine. I Never want anything to do with this organization in the future. The "$99 for $200 of electrical work" coupon contributed to the problem. Ordinarily I would have gotten competitive bids before doing a project. With the coupon, I was committed to work with Current Electric. The "highly rated" provider fell far short of what I hoped for.
