It went great. Sean and Steve were very responsive and very good at their job and dealing with many cooks.

Jorden arrived and promptly got the house up to code. He installed 5 GFIs and the fan for the bathroom. He offered his advice on some other issues. Was very nice and did a good job.

It went well. Inside work was completed on October 1. Outside work will be rescheduled for a dry day.

Current Electric is a 5 star company on all aspects. The office and the electrician (Sean) were wonderful to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in what could have become a stressful situation once the problem was identified. Turned out much of my electrical problems were due to mice activity and drywall/ insulation would have to be removed. Sean was very professional, timely, thorough, responsive, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. He recommended an excellent Drywall contact and they were able to coordinate services to expedite fixing things. Sean didn’t nickel and dime me was very clean. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Sean, you rock!! Thank you for being so great at your job. You definitely went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the services provided. Current is lucky to have you!

Quick response and very professional service. After we called they showed up with in 2 hours. The team of Michael and Robert were very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely use this company again and would recommend them to everyone to use.

Was initially taken back by price but the job entailed more than I originally thought and I feel very comfortable with the quality of the work and safety too. job entirely cleaned up and professionalism of Joel is much appreciated.

Being both the Designer and Remodeling GC, finding quality Sub-contractors is on occasion quite challenging. It's really about ticking ALL the boxes to make the relationship solid. It’s critical to my business model to have a solid TEAM that is “like minded”. Over my 20+ years in this industry I have worked with many electricians that may have had the license and knowledge to do the job, but frankly fell short in many of the other areas important to me, and to serve my clients. In working with Jim Kriehn at Current Electric I finally have arrived! • He is knowledgeable - to code compliance, & the latest products. • He is a great communicator - to confirm details, to question anything not clear...he never just "wings it", provides timely estimates with the details and in the order I need for our homeowners, and answers questions I have on the fly (email, text, or call) in a reasonable time frame, and finalizes his invoices timely, knowing that is a critical step to closing a project for all of us. • He is a team player - often in our industry schedules shift for a variety of reasons. He tries very hard to coordinate, collaborate, re-schedule, even adjust his personal day, and works well with other sub's when the schedule demands it….. And I try to not ask him to very often. • He has integrity - is honest, trustworthy, kind, "clientcentric”, has work ethic. His words and deeds match. I am 100% comfortable knowing how he will be in front of … or on site alone with my clients. • He is presentable – clean, neat, groomed. No B.O., no heavy cologne, no odor of cigarette smoke. He wears shoe covers when necessary, and simple things like that mean so much! • He goes the extra mile- sometimes it’s finding a unique solution to a problem, sometimes it’s being on top of special order product to assure it is on site when needed, and sometimes its showing back up to help another sub-contractor get the super slim LED cans I like fit into a very challenging place. • He is a great troubleshooter – be it a ‘Turn of the Century’ home with very old product , finding a hidden junction box on a demo and tracking down it’s source and correcting the problem not just to resolve it so he can move on, but to come up with a code compliant solution that allows my stone wall application to not end up with ugly blank plate in the middle of it! Etc. , Etc., Etc. In addition, when I approached the Current Electric management to see if they would be a good fit to serve my clients, I was impressed with: • the response time of their reply, in taking time to meet and review my work. • to ask great questions to understand how to serve my business best, and to impress me with their business model. • that they weren’t just good at sales, but over the course of many projects have honored everything spoken. • That it was important to them to find me the RIGHT GUY on their team to suit my business model! Jim K. was a great fit to my team also. 😊 Current not only prides themselves in hiring quality people, but also in the volume of interns they take on and how they dovetail them into the daily flow so their knowledge base becomes full spectrum and they can assess how they each shine, partner them with existing staff to gain a breadth of knowledge. ….and even better their apprentices are not selected by gender, race, ethnicity, creed….. Joel, the Service Electrician, was prompt, very professional, explained every step of the process and gave accurate cost estimate prior to project completion. Did a great clean up of the job prior to leaving. Would ABSOLUTELY call on Current Electric for future electric needs.

I've used Current Electric before and will continue to use them for all my electrical problems. Sean and Steven arrived early and spent 3 and a half hours tracking down the reason I couldn't get any power on the outside outlets. I know they were thorough; they were even able to reassure me that there was plenty of insulation in the attic! Once the problem was finally located (the previous owner was a DIY guy who didn't always do it very well), they restored power and put weatherproof covers on the outside boxes. I'm always happy with Current Electric, which is why I continue to use them. They have quality people who show up on time and do quality work. What more can you ask???

Most were easy fixes, one required running diagnostics.

Price quoted was a shocker, but it was all inclusive no matter how long it took to complete the job. My possibly half hour job turned into 2 hours due to some difficulties with the structure of my house. The price was unchanged from the quote. Everything was cleaned up and put back when they were done. They were very pleasant and easy to work with and the response time could not have been better.

Went well -- guys were knowledgeable and pleasant. Seemed a bit pricey for an install but you get what you pay for and these guys provided excellent customer service.

The electrician who came out was knowledgeable, helpful and nice. I appreciated his honesty and opinion.

Was actually done 3 days early and all went smoothly.

I called about a week and a half ago for a simple electrical issue. The following day, a Thursday or a Friday, they promptly called back and offered to schedule an appointment. I asked for a Tuesday morning appointment. They explained that the only appointments were for the following Friday and suggested an afternoon appointment. On the day before the appointment, they called and confirmed that I would indeed be available at the scheduled time. On the day of the appointment, they called about an hour and a half prior to the appointment time stating that they cannot make the time and offered to reschedule. However, by this time I had asked for half the day off. At that particular moment, I was driving home to make the appointment time. I called them back to see what the issue was. And it only got more interesting from there. The dispatcher explained that I shouldn't have been so upset about an appointment, because there was only one "firm" appointment that day, and it wasn't mine. Say, what? When I make appointments, they are serious matters. I ask for time off. I block off my calendar. I notify colleagues. Eventually, I was talking with the manager of the business. She explained that "things come up" and that they ask their electricians to work on the jobs if they make a sale. She sounded quite firm that these are legitimate reasons for abandoning another customers' appointments. When we concluded the call, she offered to call her techs to see if one of them can visit my home after all. I meanwhile called the office to discuss matters with a team-mate who had flown in from another country. In a few minutes, she called back and left a voicemail. In the voicemail, she offered to send a different tech. It sounded like we found peace after all, except when I called back I was told the other tech is no longer available. I called less than an hour after the voicemail. Don't go with these guys. They're not sure what a business's contract with their customers is. The manager had some attitude and was more interested in defending that somehow that series of events is acceptable. Current Electric seemed callous to the fact that a customer had to redo his schedule, cancel meetings, ask for time off, and leave business associates unattended and the such. Don't go with these guys. Go with anyone else.

Beautifully. Sean from Current came to the house and solved the problem. He gave me suggestions to prevent issues in the future. Gave me special lightbulbs for free. Then took at look at an antique jukebox that wasn't working...for no charge. Current had come out about a month prior for this issue and since it hadn't been completely resolved, they didn't charge me anything. They have a guarantee on their work. I was very happy.

Very well. There was a problem with one of the exterior lights Brian fixed and came back twice to make adjustments at no extra charge, which I very much appreciated.

I scheduled an appointment and took off of work two weeks ahead of head time. I knew I would not be available until 9:00 a.m. but was told I would be second on the list. They called to confirm the appointment they day before. At 11:30 the day of the appointment I called to find out if they knew when they election would be over. It took their dispatch about an hour to find out and call me back. It turns out the first appointment turned into an all day job. They found another electrician that would be able to come over but still nothing by 3:30 so I called them to cancel as I was not able to wait any longer. Ultimately, I wish I had listened to some of the other low reviews that had similar experiences. I scheduled an appointment plenty early specifically to avoid this issue but still got bumped. I wish I could speak to their actual work. I would recommend that if you are not able to be their first appointment of they day to find another electrician.

It went fine, but I was charged $900, way too much for this service. I will find other providers in the future.

Terrific. Michael and Taylor were professional, courteous and efficient. They did the work the same day and were creative in working with our house structure to do the job in the most economical way. We couldn't be more pleased and will certainly use them again.

From start to finish this is a great company to do business with.
