The service was outstanding. We arranged a convenient time for them to do the work. The company kept in good contact with us, and the electrician and apprentice arrived when they said they'd arrive. We were especially impressed with the quality of work, particularly the new outlets the technician installed that involved cutting through ceramic tile. He did a beautiful job! We also appreciate the efficient service provided by him and his apprentice. We had quite a long list of items needing work. They successfully accomplished everything in considerably less time than we had expected. The technician was very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job of educating us about some of the issues that pertained to the projects. He explained what needed to be done to bring things up to code and why it was important. We especially appreciated his customer service orientation, which included his high commitment to safety and his courteous/warm/funny communication style. Lastly, they kept very clean work areas and did a wonderful job of cleaning up.

I have been very pleased with their services. The price was close to the estimate that they had given. They came on time and they cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly and they were decent guys too.

Dustin was very polite and professional. He slipped on booties at the door to eliminate tracking dirt in. He thoroughly reviewed the estimate with me. The cabinet lights were a replacement. He suggested a different way to hang the new lights which I agreed looked much better. All work performed was done in an efficient manner.

They were very accommodating. Everything is working fine. We are pleased with their services. I like the fact that they gave us one price. I know the job took longer than they anticipated, but there was no additional billing. They stuck to their estimate, which was nice.

Came on time, fixed problem within minimum time.

Jim Drott arrived exactly as scheduled. He wore booties to protect our carpeting. He also provided outlet covers. One outlet required repairing the wiring in the outlet box. and the other required "shaving" some ot the splashboard tile to make room for the GFI unit. He managed all this with skill.!

I like that the technician thoroughly explained the issue before he made the repairs. He gave me 3 or 4 different options for the repairs at different price levels and it was up to me to decide. He found some stuff that I needed to upgrade on my circuit breaker and gave me information on that too.

Dan was on time for the estimate appointment. Work was scheduled quickly and completed on time. Dan and Judy did a great job of communicating with the village of Fox Point on some questions.

It was top notch. They really tried very hard to avoid having to replace the entire panel. They searched for an obsolete breaker, but couldn't find it. They kept in contact with me on all stages.

Everything has turned out well. They are professional and they have a good work ethic. I have been happy with them.

I am in the process of turning a small corner of my living room into an office. Due to the internet hook up and power strip, etc., I needed an additional outlet. I called Current Electric about a week before I had a day off to see if they could come out that day. They had an appointment available for that day for sometime after 11AM. I got a call around 12:30 and the electrician, Dustin, said he would be over around 1PM. He arrived at 1PM and gave me a couple options regarding another outlet. I decided to have double sockets installed instead, in two different locations. He then told me how much that would cost before he started the work. Dustin was very careful in cutting out the drywall for both areas for installation. I now have 4 plugs in two different outlets for a total of 8 plugs, and couldn't be happier! My computer area is now in one corner of the living room, just like I wanted. He cleaned up the areas where he worked and had kindly put on those slipper things over his shoes at my request before he came in. I've had Current Electric out about 5 or 6 times for various projects over the last 15 months and have also recommended them to friends at work. Dustin is a relatively new employee of Current Electric and I was very happy to know he does quality work - just like the electricians from Current that have done work at my home in the past. Very, very happy with their service!

Current came out and gave a quote, very professional and were within what we had estimated the work would cost. They scheduled the work and were on-time. The work was completed quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. One nice touch, whenever the serviceman was in the main part of the house he wore booties over his boots so he didn't track anything in.

They did a great job and went above and beyond in locating a circuit breaker for the electrical box. I would highly recommend them.

Overall: Excellent. Dan came to our house and gave us an estimate, including 2 things we have not done yet. He was helpful about what things we could wait on, and what things should be done for safety purposes. He started on the job that day and the entirety of it took him an extra day. We did not get charged for the extra day since their estimates are based on work done, not time needed. While working on the refrigerator outlet, he found one outlet (the microwave oven) not on its own circuit that he said for coding purposes and, more importantly, fire safety purposes should really be put onto its own circuit, if we could afford it for $400. He was upfront about it being extra over the initial estimate since it wasn't something we had requested in his assessment. As above, the jobs took him longer than expected, but we did not get charged. He came out to finish the job about a week later (we requested him again, hence the wait). Because we couldn't be home the entire day, he worked alone most of the day. Nothing was missing from our house. We handled payment matter directly with the company over the phone within a few business days, and they were fine with that.

Office was polite, professional and efficient. Electrician was on time, knowledgeable, and installed the fan well at the cost agreed. My only issue was the price quoted for changing (not new installation or moving) existing light switches at $30 each. A 2-way switch is about 10 minutes work (I can do it in 5), with a little more for 3-way and 4-way. That works out between 180-360 per hour depending on the time per switch. I wound up doing it myself and saved a lot. You can find good quality electricians that will work for $70 per hour. Their pricing is much higher than average.

He was quick! I couldn't keep up with him. He suggested more things that he could come back later and do for us. It only took him about two and a half days to do a number of different things.

This experience went very well. The electrician came out on and was very professional. I appreciated that he was very honest and told us he charges by the hours, and since he did the light switch job quickly he also checked out a few other things around my house.

They were great. Jim, the electrician, had a personal emergency that arose during the job. He had to leave the job site, but Current Electric kept me abreast of the situation and remained in constant contact so I knew what was going on. I was happy to wait for Jim to finish the job, and as soon as he was able to, he came back and completed the work. The way that Current handled the situation was very impressive to me. I knew that they really cared about their workers as well as their clients.

The person answering the phone was very cordial and responsive and was able to get an electrician to come the same day which was terrific. She explained that I would be billed for a service call (minus Angie's List discount) until the problem was identified. Once the problem was diagnosed, I would be provided with an estimate and no work would be performed until I approved the estimate. The electrician arrived as scheduled, was friendly and very professional. He diagnosed the problem in about 20 minutes. He explained the problem was a defective sump pump which he could not replace. He then charged me for the service call (minus Angie's list discount) plus what he described as a minimal service charge of $92.00 which I paid. It only occurred to me after the fact that this procedure was different from what I had been told on the phone. Since I didn't think of it at the time, I did not object or complain about the additional $92, but in retrospect, that is not what the woman on the phone had promised. My only complaint about the company is that the electrician and the person I spoke with initially did not have the same story. Either the lady misled me or the electrician overcharged me. I do not know which. I marked the company down on price because of this discrepancy. However, in all other respects, they were wonderful and I would probably give them another try. Though I regret not catching this discrepancy at the time, I also feel that the customer should not be placed in this position. The electrician and the initial company representative should have the same story, in my opinion. Either I should not have been charged anything beyond the service call (which is what the lady promised on the phone) or the lady should have told me about the service call plus "minimal" service charge.

My experience with them was very positive. The quality of the electricians work was excellent. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I use this company quite often with the four properties that I own. There work work is always top quality. They are completely professional and always on time. I've never had an problems with. If any problems occur with the work they have done, they are there to fix it.

The overall experience was an A. They were extremely responsive and professional, just the best that you can imagine. He was the best contractor that I have ever dealt with.

They did a great job. They were on time and they got the job done when they said they would be. They were very professional and they cleaned up all of their mess.

They were great because they gave us an estimate, told us what they were going to do, they did everything they promised, and came when they promised. It was great.

He seemed very nice, but I thought the estimate was a bit much. I did not go with him. I paid $15 for the trip, with the Angie's List coupon. ($2,000.00)
