The office personnel were pleasant and knowledgable. My questions were answered to my satisfaction. Within a couple of days, the electrician arrived promptly and provided an estimate for each of the electrical services I needed. Erik was professional and completed the work the same day. All debris was cleaned up.

Used this contractor at my mom's place that she just moved into recently to do some updating on electrical service. The office was easy to work with and I was able to schedule an appointment within 3 days. They guaranteed first of the day appointment times, but said after that they could only tell me what number appointment I would be that day, which is perfectly understandable. A call when the technician was on his way gave me a heads up. The electrician surveyed the work that needed to be done and gave a complete estimate prior to starting the work. He worked efficiently and cleaned up after all the work he did. He made suggestions of other work I might want to have done in the future without being pushy. I will definitely call them again for work.

The office was informative when I called to set up estimate. The estimate and work were completed the same day and was completed efficiently and thoroughly. The Electrician answered my questions and was easy to work with. He also advised me on work that will be needed to upgrade the service to 100A and re-run the main ground.

Electrician and office were very helpful trying to prepare home for sale. The office was persistant in trying to get a hold of Shorewood's electrical inspector to find out what code compliance violations needed to be corrected. Current was there for us when we needed them to help us get ready for closing on our home sale.

Very satisfied with work from Current Electric. They installed a new 100A panel and meter at a recently purchased home. Main panel was remote from the meter so a disconnect meter was required, which they had indicated during the estimate. Service work was $1400 which included pulling the permit for a recently installed furnace. Additionally, I had them run an empty 3/4 inch conduit from the panel back to the meter wall for a potential future garage feed ($100). Jim did a very good job and provided a few fix-it items during the install at no charge. Price was competitive with other contractors and I was very satisfied.

They were very prompt and cleaned up each day. There was one issue with a light not working and they fit us into their schedule and came out early the next morning to fix it and found it was a loose wire. The installation of one of the fixtures (9 halogens on the fixture) was complicated and took alot of time with minimal instructions with the fixture, but they did a great job.

Lee was on time, extremely professional and did the job correctly the first time as expected. I have used Current Electric for three jobs so far. They aren't the cheepest, but I never have to worry about the quality of the work or the professionalism of the electricians.

They were very prompt. They made a real effort to schedule as quickly was possible. They were very professional. One of the problems was more complex. It took him a little while to figure it out but he did repair the problem. I have dealt with several different workers and have been pleased with all of them.

Scheduling an appointment and having an electrician come at the scheduled time is as good as it gets. The electrician they sent was very experienced, smart and skilled. Everything works great and looks good. No issue with clean up. The only thing I wish I would have done differently is agreed to a different fee schedule. The electrician offered to do it by the hour or at a flat rate per service (e.g., ceiling fan install is $140, light fixture replacement is $46). I chose the flat rate and because the jobs were relatively easy and there were no issues it didn't take the electrician very long and so I probably would have been charged less if I would have chosen the fee per hour option. That's the customer dilemma with this type of fee structure.

It was very good! The electrician was efficient, friendly and attentive to my concerns. He worked quickly and answered all of my questions as he went along. He met with me when the work was done and told me what he did and how I could move forward with both of the items after he left.

We got them through Angie?s List. Before the work on the wall could commence, I called them to make sure that they were putting the right piping in. I always call them, and they do a very good job - I have been very happy with them. When we first shopped around, we felt that they were just as competitive as everybody else. They also gave us the discount. What we were asking them to do was something that we could have done on our own. So he explained how we could do it, and that left a good impression on me. The price was reasonable, and he was out there working in the drizzle. They are not far from us, and so we know that there isn?t a huge travel for them. They are very conscientious about covering their feet so they don?t track in mud. I think I did recommend them to my sister-in-law. I have never had anything with them that I would complain about.

I called the office on Friday and they had an electrician out for me the next Monday at 7:30. He gave me an estimate and installed two new outdoor floodlight fixtures. He was friendly and professional, set the fixtures the way that I wanted them and cleaned up nicely. I have great outdoor light tonight. Both fixtures are working as he said they would. I was very pleased with the quickness of the response and the quality of the service.

I wouldn't advise being out of town when a support wall in your home was being demolished, but I was. When our contractor called to say he ran into some electric wires in the wall to be removed, I called Current (who was scheduled to come to the house the week after) and asked them to contact the contractor, go to the house and remove the wiring so the demolition could continue.

Provided high quality and professional service at a reasonable price, not the least expensive, but fair.

I received delivery of a new electric dryer, at which time the installers advised me that they could not legally hook up to the outlet I had. I called Current and spoke to Brittany to schedule installation of a 3-wire outlet (that was the cord I had). She subsequently called back and advised that I would need a 4-wire outlet to meet code. Although the installers had left by then, I appreciated knowing that I would need to exchange the cord before the electrician came. Nathan arrived on time and immediately put on booties, even though I told him it wasn't necessary. He looked at the situation, then proceeded to ask about any other electrical needs we might have and reviewed some additional products and services he thought we could use. When I declined anything extra, he told me what the cost would be for the work scheduled. They use a flat fee method of charging, which is apparently why they can take a good deal of time "selling" other services. They charge a trip fee on top of the work (Angie's List members get a discount). I don't think the actual work took more than 30 minutes, so I thought the total amount charged was pretty high.

He asked me if there were any other jobs that needed done. He gave me quotes for all. He was very emphatic that the prices he was quoting would stay the same. He gave a price guarantee on the work. He told me what his background was, schooling was and different jobs he?d done. I?ve never had anyone conduct themselves like that as far as service work is concerned. I was extremely happy with him. I will definitely use him again.
