It went great. Very happy with the service I received.

They did everything they said they would. They were on time to all appointments and the installation went just as described. The Current Electric representative, Lee Baumann was excellent. He is a specialist in this area and it was very evident. He took the time to explain things to us and made sure he understood what we wanted. I would definitely use Current Electric again.

Not much to tell. He arrived promptly. We did a walk through identifiying what needed to be done. He answered all my questions and explained what he'd be doing and gave me an estimate of how long it'd take. He was very pleasant. He finished a bit before his estimated time of completion. We then discussed three other jobs that I was interested in pursuing later on because they are more involved and quite a bit more expensive. He looked that the jobs in question and then went over what each would entail. We discussed various options on one job that'd require running another line to our lamp post (the line had apparently been severed by landscaping contractors during replacement of railroad ties with landscaping blocks). He completed the estimate and I advised that I'd contact him after the New Year to discuss the inside jobs.

They did an excellent job. The had great service. They were knowledgeable and professional. They installed gfi's, service panel, and ran new wiring. They inspected the whole house, even the work they didn't do, to make sure my home was safe. They took the time to answer all my questions and their clean up was great.

Our appointment was for 7:30 - the truck actually arrived a few minutes early and we noticed him sitting out front, waiting for the start time so as not to inconvenience us so early in the morning. We signaled to him that we were ready to go. When the technician (Bob) arrived he started by asking us about all of our electrical needs - so we covered our entire to do list - we had originally only planned on the exterior outlets but he quoted us a price for all our various wants. Based on this, we decided to also have the additional basement circuit installed. We may elect to have some of the additional work done in the future - so it is nice to now have a cost estimate. After looking over the job he was able to tell us up front that he would not be able to complete it in a day - and he setup the followup appointment on the spot. He went to work and just did a great job - always cleaning up after himself. When he left for the day - everything was tidied up so it was not left in disarray while waiting for the followup appointment. A day later Current called and told us that they had a cancellation and told us that they could push our followup appointment up a bit, which we did. The work was done exactly as we agreed to - and we are very pleased. We will certainly use Current again.

Really good. Professional scheduling process, on-time technician, quality work. Used again on 3/30/12. Will use again when I need more electrical work done.

We lost power to multiple circuits, and our cable/phone/internet all at the same time. The rep who came out to restore the cable service said we had a bad outlet in the basement. Deric from Precision quickly realized the real problem actually was a tripped circuit breaker (hard to see on our panel) and had all the circuits working in short order. He also fixed the wall fixture, which had a bad ballast, and repaired faulty wiring in its switch. He also repaired the ceiling fixture in the basement. He was here for about an hour, and we saved around $100 by using an Angie's List coupon. We were delighted with Deric's service, thorough explanation of each problem, and his promptness and professionalism. These guys are now our go-to electricians!

We needed a light fixture moved in our bathroom to improve the lighting and appearance in the room. The electrician arrived promptly and went right to work. The project was finished in a reasonable amount of time and looks great now.

They were polite, totally professional, prompt and provided good service. I thought they were just expensive.

I was given a few options and once I chose one it was done in a very timely manner. I expected to have to paint or repair the area around the new outlet but it was not necessary. The electrician cleaned up very well and was very friendly. I would recommend Current Electric to anyone.

I own a duplex and while the electrician was turning off and on power, he noticed a "feed back", where some lights downstairs were still on when the main breaker was turned off. He told me that it would be hourly to fix it, and he tried to get some sense of what was going on. However, he did say that he did not know how long it would take to trace the wiring but that he would bring an apprentice along to help with the running up and down stairs. All in all, he was polite and professional - and he cleaned up after himself. He told me about the $99 for $200 work, which I did not know, and he saved me money. I would use him again or someone from the company.

I called to set up an appointment to have work done on my house. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment, but I was put on stand-by status. Fortunately, I got moved up due to a few cancellations. I got a call from the representative before he arrived. He arrived in a timely manner and slipped the shoe covers on before entering my home. The representative/electrician was dressed neatly in his uniform and he explained everything in a professional and uncomplicated manner. He informed me that I paid for a specific amount of time (2 hours) through Angie's List , but the company didn't perform duties by time, but by the job requested. I needed a motion light installed on my garage that covered my driveway and backyard and a timer installed on the inside light switches for my front and back porches.. I was given the breakdown cost for each job requested. The cost for all of the work came to $140.00 above the $200.00 I already paid through Angie's List. It took the electrician a little longer than the 2 hours offered through Angie's List. My motion light did not work correctly, so, I returned the faulty one to a neighboring hardware store and got a new one that worked well. The electrician could only install one of the timer switches because the rear door required a different type of timer/ light. The electrician subtracted the cost of installing the second timer (-$65.00). As of today, I still cannot find the type of timer he advised me to buy. A hardware store employee told me the timer referred was very costly and not available in a regular hardware store. He said I needed to go to an electrical store. The store employee didn't know why the electrician couldn't install the timer to my back light. He said it was a fairly easy procedure. I am very happy with both installations done by Current Electric. Co. and would use them again.

The electrician was very friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient. We highly recommend this company.

Nathan grounded 6 outlets in two rooms on the second level of our older home. He was extremely professional and pleasant and worked quickly and thoroughly to accomplish the job. He insisted on donning the plastic booties whenever he was in the house and I believe there are a lot of people that would appreciate that level of conscientiousness. I had hired some movers who were on a tight timeline as they moved heavy furniture around in our home. Nathan was very accommodating when I asked him to work around their ability to provide access to the outlets he was working on. I also asked Nathan to provide estimates on a number of other more substantial jobs that we need done. The estimates were fair and reasonable. Nathan is highly credentialed and will be our go-to electrician in the future.

Derek was timely, professional and very clean. He arrived at 7AM. We walked through our home and I outlined the work we wanted done. In less than 30 min, he was able to create an estimate for work and got started right away. I left him to do his part while I went to work. I came home to a clean, completely finished electrical project with an invoice exactly where he said it would be. The cost was a bit high, but it was a quality job. I'd use them again.

Before he started Lee made sure I understood what he was going to do, and how it was going to work. Unfortunately when he started working, he hit the 'worst case scenario'...4 sets of wires in that small hole! Lucky for me he is very good at what he does. I love my new ceiling fan.Two years ago, Lee/Current Electric installed a generator at my home. I recommend them and will continue to use them for my electrical needs.

Asked for repair of basement baseboard heaters; this work was done efficiently and well without any complaints. We had a second problem that was incorrectly diagnosed, and took a long time for the part to come in, and is still and issue. To be fair, it doesn't sound straightforward, and they were friendly about the whole process, as well as apologetic for the wait. They also were proactive and contacted us. Wish the problem had been totally fixed but it is improved. I would recommend this company to others, they were very solid with a couple small areas of improvement only.

The work was done impeccably. I'm very pleased with it all, especially the new fan. It's great to have a heater that blows warm air outside the shower in the winter! I think their pricing is kinda high. We did purchase an Angies list "deal" which took about $200 off the price for us. But then again, you pay for good quality - and they were very professional. My big dissappointment in them is that we live in a new home and wanted info on solar panels and such. I was told the owner or manager does the quoting for that and he would get back to me within a couple of weeks...well, didn't hear and didn't hear and then I called them and they had my name and number and said that the owner or manager (can't remember which one it is) had alot of requests and was running behind and whoever answered the phone said he would be getting to me... it's now August of 2012 and I NEVER heard from him. I'm sure they hold their employees to a high standard because the guy who came here was totally professional, clean, prompt etc... but for his boss to blow me off?????? I put off many, many months to write a review for them, I was hoping that I would hear from the owner/manager. But alas, I never did and that's why I gave them a B.

He was very thorough, and wrote up a detail report, on what it would take to bring it up to code. I felt he was very honest and answered all my questions. There were additional cost that I didn't anticipate so I couldn't hire at this time.

The electircian named "Lee" arrived at 7:30am. He is someone I would not want in my home again. He was rude and obviously resented having to work a "deal" with Angie's list. He tried to get us to pay an extra $45.00 "truck" fee. So I called Current Electric directly and spoke to the woman who admitted she never told me about the $45. fee. The electrician was visably upset, so I asked her to speak to him directly on the phone. He then got even angrier and said, "We are only supposed to give them one discount" and hung up. Needless to say, I will never use this company again. Unfortunately, this was my first experience with buying a "deal" on Angie's ist. I will hesitate to do another with Angie's list. Ironically, when my husband disclosed to the electrician named "Lee" that he worked for Home Depot, Lee then seemed to warm up to my husband because Home Depot uses Current Electric as a contractor. My husband has since become aware of other people having issues with Current Electric. Home Depot has been notified of this event and has made note. It's not the first complaint by a Home Depot customer. Beware!

We had been doing some remodeling that required electrical work. Since we were already comfortable with Current Electric, we decided to purchase the deal through them. They are very professional and always arrive on time. This company is particularly good because we had some problems with some electrical equipment that we purchased, and they were very helpful in identifying why it wasn't working the way it should.

They came the day after I called. They didn't tell me how much it would cost until they got there. It just ended up being very expensive and they had difficulty balancing the fan. They said "we're done" and they had the fan on low. It shook like crazy on high. If I hadn't checked it, they wouldn't have even tried to balance it. I felt like they were trying to sneak out. They spent over an hour trying to balance it. Eventually they told me to put it on medium or low and that I got a cheap fan. I can accept that, but it was frustrating. Now I am stuck with it because I can't get it down and replace it with a good one. Update. They called asking about my service satisfaction and I explained the problem. The technician came out again for free and installed a higher quality fan that I had purchased. He was very kind and polite. Perhaps before he was just having a bad day.

We are new to the area and we called Current Electric because we saw the coupon on Angie's list. Electrician was scheduled to come out within a week. We purchased an older home and had a large volume of work to be completed. John arrived on time and even called ahead to let us know he was on his way. He was professional and courteous. We explained the work we needed done, he examined the house, and were given a clear and concise estimate (which included the appropriate permits as well). In the end we had 25 ungrounded outlets replaced, 3 ceiling fans installed (to include new bracing boxes) 2 light fixtures installed and a check out of a few other problems we were concerned with. One of the fans was a little complicated to install because the existing wiring was unusual, but the John and his crew made sure everything was installed properly and secured the unnecessary wiring. We also got an estimate for future electrical upgrades. All work was completed in one day. John called in two other electricians to assist and they were working at our house until 6PM. Although at first we thought the price seemed high, in the end we had three electricians working at the house for 9 hours - so we feel it was a fair price for the amount of work that was done. We did not get any other estimates because we really just wanted the work completed so we could move on to other house projects. All work was completed in one day, the house was cleaned up, and we have piece of mind knowing our house is now safe and fixtures/fans were installed properly. We definitely had a positive experience and would use this company again for future electrical needs.
