A few minutes before the appointment, he called from the road to let me know he would be arriving in a few minutes. Dan was very polite and pleasant. He offered his opinions on how best to complete the job and gave me an upfront price which I agreed to. Work was completed quickly and efficiently. Dan verified that the lights I purchased were appropriate for the project which required insulation around the lights. I would have no problem hiring Current again for all the small jobs around the house.

This was avery simple job but it was done nicely and well.

I purchased the $99 for $200 worth of work from Current Electric with the hopes of getting a ceiling fan installed in my whitefish bay house. Because of the plaster ceiling, cloth wiring, and existing braces installing a fan would have turned into a major major project. The initial electrician did a sweep through of the house and educated me on what needs to be done. Unfortunately, my idea for a $200 ceiling fan turned into a 2 hour conversation and discussions about re-wiring the entire house. Six months later I decide to get the 2 outlets replaced and the kitchen light installed which the second electrician did a great job at. While I was initially peeved that we were having a conversation about rewiring the whole house and installing a new 200 amp service I am satisfied with Current. They might be on the higher cost spectrum, but I believe their work is worth it.

Dan came to house and worked on my "small projects" around the house. He also went outside to try to figure out the landscape lighting that hasn't been working since I bought the a couple of years ago. He was very professional, pleasant and explained everything through. The office contacted me to set some other stuff and Pam was always very nice.

Excellent! They responded to my request for service and I had an electrician out the next day. Electrician was very professional and clean. I am very happy with the work and would use them again.

Everything went very well from beginning to end with his work! We would have him come back when needed.

Came to residence on time, very professional, gave me an estimate before work was performed, executed well, good work.

It was an overall very good experience with this electrical team and company. I had bought a DEAL on angie's list, called them, and set up an appointment to come out for an estimate of the several things we needed done and hoped to get a couple things done on that 1st visit. They were fairly booked up, so we had to wait a couple of weeks (tho, we have time restrictions ourselves due to our jobs, in all fairness). When the day came, the electrician arrived as scheduled and listened to our needs. Then he pointed out some issues we would be having down the line in replacing the florescent tubing in our other 3 ceiling lights. So we got an estimate on replacing the "working" light fixtures, and, of course, to fix the one that was NOT working. Also, estimates to add wall switches for these same light fixtures and for the stairwell light, at the bottom of the stairwell. You see for all 14 years that we have had this house, the only wall switches we had were on the opposite side of the room from the stairwell!! Very inconvenient. We also had no off/on switch for the stairwell light at the bottom of the stairwell! They also added the estimate for the replacement of a ceiling fan & light. That same day, the electrician did fix the outside electrical plug-in and even added a cover for it. He said the previous outlet had totally disintegrated inside the wall! The electrician put together the estimate in a timely manner, we signed the contract, and set up a return date. He returned on the date as scheduled and at the stated time, along with a second helper. They worked steadily and quietly from about 7:30am to 3:00pm. They cleaned up after themselves and were gentleman in our home. All the work was completed and with the new florescent tubes the lower level is so much brighter. The lights come on quickly now (no lingering). The dual light switches work well and is great to have now. The ceiling fan & light work properly as they should. All in all, just a very nice job and a pleasant experience with these employees of Current Electric Co.

They arrived at 9:30 a.m. and needed to dig a 5-10 foot trench from the house to the shed to run power. Then, they installed two lights, a light switch, three outlets and an electric shutoff for the power. Deric also swapped out 1 garage outlet to GFCI. They had to move some lannon stones from the side of the shed to dig the trench. They moved them, dug the trench, and replaced them. Good job.

Dan arrived a little late due to a problem with his car battery, but he called to let me know which was really appreciated. When he arrived and I explained the project, it was bigger than he planned. He checked back at Current to see if there was anyone who could join him so he could finish it in one day, but everyone was already out on jobs. I agreed that there was no problem if he needed to come back to finish - he offered to come back on Saturday morning (the next day.) He quickly provided an estimate, applied my Angie's List Big Deal, and got to work. He arrived back on Saturday morning and finished up. Dan was very friendly and checked with me on occaision to make sure he was installing things the way I wanted them which I appreciate. I have known to be a little particular as it matters to me that things look good as well as work well once the project is done. The electrician I usually call has retired and I'm satisfied I have found the electrician I will work with into the future - Thanks Dan M. and Current Electric!

Very professional. Showed us what they were doing, cleaned up after themselves, and discussed other electrical needs our house has. Very impressed. Will definitely use again.

After calling several companies without a response, Current Electric answered right away and their scheduler was extremely helpful. She told me what to expect, when to expect it and how the installation and billing would work. She even asked if I was a member of Angie's List and told me about available discounts. The tech was on time and very friendly. He explained everything that needed to be done and quoted us a price. He also discussed various options that we hadn't considered. I would definately call them again.

The electrician called ahead, and was right on time. He seemed knowledgable and efficient. He left all the areas clean.

Excellent service. On time, knowledgeable and courteous. Electician took our general idea, helped us develop a plan, and executed. End product was better than expected and he left the workspace better than he found it. Would definitely use the company again and would recommend to others.

The service we received from Current Electric was outstanding from start to finish. When we called we got a general estimate quote and a date and time they would be there to do the work. They arrived promptly on time and within a few hours finished all of the work without any problems or issues. The technician was very excellent and knowledgedable of what he was doing. We discussed what we wanted done and he presented options that we could do and we settled on a way that worked perfect He was also very careful and clean with everything. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling and cleaned up and had everything looking as nice as when he had first shown up. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

The scope of work was different than they anticipated. Several options were explored and an ideal solution resulted. All work was done promptly and professionally. Additional help was brought in to cut and patch the drywall. Everyone was friendly and cooperative. Everything was very clean and tidy when they left. I have had three different electricians over the past year. The first one was terrible, a D, so I hired a second one to finish the job and he was okay, a B. But Current left me very satisfied and impressed, an A+.

Top-notch service. He showed up on time, listened to my needs, and quickly assessed the situation. He presented me a couple options, we made some decisions, and then he got to work. He was willing to work in/out of a tight crawl space during the work. He got things done in a reasonable amount of time and tested every which way to make sure they worked. The job was a success. I now have things exactly where I wanted in my room. I will not call anyone other than Current the next time I have an electrical need....

However, the promised review of the electric system was not provided as promised. After I made a follow-up call, they apologized and promised to send. It was not provided again. After I made a follow-up call, I asked for a refund. After about a month, the refund was not posted. So I made a follow-up call... which led to a refund posting on my account.

They did some miscellaneous electrical projects that had built up. They were small enough that I would call someone for the individual project but once they were together it fit perfectly with the deal. The work was completed within the time frame and without additional charges besides small parts.

Great. We were able to "Swap" out our electrical inspection for a second surge protector with are Angies List Deal. They did a great job and did not try to "sell" other services or upgrades.

I received the Angie's List email $99 deal for $200 of Electrical work. I purchased the deal and received a call that same day from Current. I had my first appointment schedule for September, but they had to call back and reschedule because the Electrician was going to be on another job all day. I rescheduled for 10/1 at 7:30am. I was already off that day so it worked out for both of us. The Electrician was punctual and arrived on time. He was very courteous and wore booties when he was in my home. I had a list of all the electrical outlets that needed replacing in each room (15 total) and he checked them off as he replaced them. We needed a GFI one for our bathroom and he made a call to have one delivered. When he replaced this one, I noticed he cracked one of the tiles around the outlet. He did his best to cover the cracked tile with the outlet cover. I did have to pay a little extra for this GFI outlet since I did not have one. All the other outlets he replaced (with covers) I had bought, otherwise I would've been charged for those. The entire job took 3 hours and he cleaned his mess when he was done. Overall, I was pleased with the job and glad I didn't have to replace all the outlets myself.

I purchased the coupon from Angie's List: $99 for $200 worth of work. I called and scheduled the appointment and then the estimate and work were done the same day by the same person-Deric. I have used Current Electric Co. once before because a friend referred them and they were listed on Angie's list with good ratings. Deric was the electrician sent out for both jobs. He is very upfront, informative, personable, and does good work. The only reason I gave Current Electric Co. a B for Price is because I didn't receive bids to compare their price with other companies for the same job. I thought their price was reasonable.

I was very pleased with the work. The technician was prompt and very professional, explaining exactly what needed to be done. The quote he provided was reasonable, and he even finished the work so quickly that I didn't need to miss a half-day of work. I will definitely call them again when I need electrical work done!

I would recommend Current Electric to anyone. It was a PLEASURE to have Jim in our home. He was friendly and took time to explain how our new outlets worked. He was not rushed to get to the next job and asked several times if we had any questions or other electrial concerns. I have had several re-modeling NIGHTMARES in the past and am leary about having additional work done. Working with Jim Drost has taught me that there are contractrors who still take PRIDE in there work. The next thing that happened IMPRESSED me more than any other service provider or contractor ever has. Jim was in the basement drilling a hole so he could run the wires needed for the new outlet up through the wall. He accidently drilled a hole through the wall which came through the siding. He did not try to cover it up which contractors in the past have done. Instead he immediately came to me and asked that I come a take a look at something. Jim felt bad about what had happend and was VERY APPOLOIGETIC. I was not NEAR as UPSET as he was. In fact, I was not upset at all. These things happen to all of us. When I suggested that I thought my Dad might have a few leftover pieces of siding in the shed, Jim had another idea. He suggested that he use the existing hole to install an outdoor outlet. We do not have an outdoor outlet on this side of the house, and I thought it was a great idea. Jim stated that he would not charge me for the work. This was not necessary but he insisted. Jim had to leave for a short time to get a few parts that he did not have with him. Jim spent a few extra hours at our home installing the outdoor outlet. I now have two brand new outlets that are PERFECT. I am beyond IMPRESSED!!!!!!! I would recommend Current Electric to anyone with an electrical concern. It is just so refreshing to work with people who take such tremendous pride in the work they do. I have been a 911 dispatcher for 25 years and am somewhat leary about having a stranger in my home. But this time, I was immediately comfortable with Jim. He was friendly and super informative. I will definately being calling Current Electric the next time I have an electrical concern.
