Replaced outlets and switches. Installed 2 outside outlets.

Went well with the exception that we had to call them back to raise the fans in the pergola. They came out the next week and raised the fans, but there was in up charge for that.

I used the special discount offer at Angie's List and contacted Current Electric. Deric was excellent - professional and courteous!!! He called about 20 minutes before he was to arrive (which was the 10 a.m. portion of the 10-2 window indicated initially). The installs went forward without a hitch and I was kept appraised of exactly what he was doing at all times. He cleaned up neatly and even thanked me for choosing Current Electric. If I have another electrical problem, he'll be the first person I call.

I already did above. I purchased the voucher because one of the suggested uses in the ad for the voucher was to install a ceiling fan. I was excited because I needed one installed in my son's bedroom and this looked like a way I would be able to get it done. When I called the company to schedule this, I asked if there would be any costs incurred above the $200 credit that my $111 voucher had bought. The woman I spoke with was very professional and kind. However, they told me that since this would be a new ceiling fan installed and not a simple replacement, it would cost a minimum of $450 but probably more, with the upper price being $750. I was shocked! I am taking the ceiling fan that I purchased back to Menard's today. I have many medical bills due to illness that both of my children and I have (Lyme disease) and love the Angie's list deals to help me accomplish projects and keeping up with household repairs. I request the money to be refunded, please.

I had bought a Angie's List discount with the intent to install a light fixture at the back entrance for security and extra lighting. I thought it be a simple job but learned more about my house because of this experience. The installer had to install wiring from the wall where the light was to be placed and run it into the basement resulting in unexpected expense. He was professional and explained everything. I had a light switch near where the wiring was placed that was not working and learned it was a simple as replacing a 9volt battery. After completion of the job, I asked him about other projects I was considering and took the time to explain what would be involved. I just want to add that the total cost was $479.00 but I had a discount coupon 100.00 for 200.00 worth of work.

The service went great and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. For the most part it was very good. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Everything works fine and they finished ahead of time. They were expensive. On top of the $100 Deal that I bought, there was an extra $175 that they charged. Another company offered a deal and their price would have been cheaper even without any type of deal. They got back to us right away after we purchased the deal and emailed them. They got us in within a reasonable time. The service and timing were good. I would probably not use them again.

okay but first rain day gfi tripped out , not sure how it will work in future.

This is the second time we have used them, she does a good job and I will continue to use them.

Very responsive, punctual and professional....but that all came with a VERY big price. He replaced three outlets in 20 minutes and charged $311.00!!!! This included a $45 trip charge. I got a $200 credit for the Angie Big Deal, balance due of $111.00 Nothing in Big Deal details indicated that a trip charge would be added. They gave me an estimate of $321 to replace my front doorbell (plus another $45 trip charge if I didn't authorize the work the same day). My neighbor replaced the doorbell for me a week later for a thank you. Sure wish I would have mentioned the 3 problem outlets to him before I bought the Big Deal from Angie's. What a total waste of money this whole transaction was. So while Current Electric was responsive, punctual, professional and competent it would have to be a dire emergency before I would ever call them again.

Bob showed up right on time. Was very nice and professional. The outlets were right where I wanted them. There was only one outlet they couldn't do because of the way the wall was built. I will say I thought they were a bit pricey and if I didn't have The Big Deal, I probably wouldn't use them again.

We have an old home with really bad electrical wiring - the old owner tried to do some things himself, and there was arcing in the walls. They replaced everything, all my outlets work now wonderfully, ran new wiring into the basement, put in a couple new outlets down there, all my lightswitches work. WONDERFUL JOB!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal of $200 work for $111. The instructions with that said they would contact me within 2 days. They didn't (that's why the B for responsiveness) so I called them to set up an appointment. I talked to the lady on the phone and described what I wanted so I expected the work to take place during the set time. However, Dan, the Master Electrician, told me of a better way to deal with the dark entry way so he had to get the supplies and come back the next day. I'm fine with that but people should be prepared to arrange 2 appointments if they want work that is more complicated. I gave them a B for price because it was more than I had hoped to spend but I ended up getting more than I originally planned on. I would not hesitate to call them again for electrical work. Dan was pleasant and knowledgeable.

They were fine. There was actually a slight issue and something fell through the cracks. It took them a long time to get back to me but they were diligent in addressing it once I got back on their radar. They did the work in April and followed up in August. I had worked with them before and I needed something on short notice so I used them.

He was prompt, knowledgeable, and did the work very well. I did buy the special, but the work cost more than I anticipated. He did price the work before I purchased it, but I felt it was a little high.

Everyone was very professional and when I had electrical problems they were quick to fit me into the schedule. The prices were high but I think that is typical with any electrical work!

I liked the work that he did and he explained everything to me. I would use them again.

It went very well. Vey detail oriented and very professional. Not pushy, yet did offer suggestions.

Our half bath (used by my daughters) had one outlet built into the light and it only worked when the light was on, they had to use a step to reach it and, being who they are, would yank the cord to pull the plug after doing their hair. The outlet is in the perfect spot and is very convenient not only for their blow dryer, curling iron, staightener, etc., but also for me to plug in the floor cleaner to do the cleaning in that area. No more extension cords! I plan on having them come back to change out the entire electic panel next spring, something we were planning to do for awhile but were putting off due to cost. Current gave us a reasonable price so we will go forward sooner.

They were on time and their prices were good.

Awesome. I have had two electricians from Current. Nathan W. and Jim D. Both are smart, curteous, on time, professional and go above and beyond. I have recommended them consistently to friend and family. Their support staff (Ashley) is equally delightful. They do what they say in a timely fashion for an agreed upon price. They are great! I am a loyal customer.

Current Electric is a very reliable and trustworthy company from start to finish. After we purchased the Angie's Big Deal, Current contacted us to set up a time to do the work. We had to change the appointment twice due to personal scheduling conflicts, but on the date agreed upon, Current's electrician came to our home to perform the work. I would use Current Electric again without reservation.

It worked out fine perfectly. I thought the guy that did the work was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was a good guy. I don't know anything outside the Angie's list deal, I have never used them before. My guess is if i would have called the electrician I normally use, he charges me about a hundred bucks an hour and I bought everything and I still have stuff that I needed to do. So I just need him to run the cable and all that stuff. So it was probably worth an hour kind of work because it was a new construction. So I would definitely buy another Angie's List deal again.
