Have not actually used services yet. Could not complete without filling in so did so to the best of my ability. Will fill in when they actually perform services.

I purchased a $299 deal for electrical work which was worth much more than that. It was explained to me that the work wasn't by the hour but by the project. Jim Drott came over and I gave him my list of projects which he checked out and gave me a listing of the cost for each. Then I chose the ones I wanted him to work on at this time. The $45 trip charge was subtracted from the $299 and I chose to add $60 worth of work to the remaining credit. Jim did a good job of explaining everything that needed to be done and doing the projects I wanted done. I would hire Current Electric again.

Everything went well without a hitch. Bob was prompt, courteous and professional. He covered his boots so he wouldn't track snow in my house. This is the third time I have had Current Electric and have been satisfied each time.

Went well. I actually did not need the service I called them from but I had them fix a few other minor issues. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

I loved them. I have used them before. They finished all the work in less than an hour. Shortly after they had come out for this service, we had an emergency and the owner came out right away. The owner was very nice and actually cared a lot.

For X-mas that year they sent me a discount coupon magnet for future work. Above pretty much says it all for me.1/2012

I live in a 30 year old condo and I was working to update my bathrooms. One of the bathrooms did not have any heat source which meant it was always cold and damp. I thought a wall mounted space heater would help and I called my favorite Electrical Contractor, Current Electric. So for your projects big and small I can definitely recommend this great provider. The project was more complicated than it sounds because Jon had to drill through the ceiling in my entry way closet to fish a new electrical line to the bathroom. Jon would not give up which I appreciated because he had to go through the ceiling in several rooms to get to the bathroom wall outlet. Thankfully he had an assistant helping and after many tries they got the line into the bathroom. That was only the beginning of the challenges for Jon. Next a previous owner had installed a fancy wall covering near the outlet which I wanted to keep. Jon installed everything perfectly. Nothing was chipped or nicked which was great because I didn?t have any spare tiles. They also installed several new light fixtures as part of this project. Jon is an expert at what he does and the whole project turned out great! These are wonderful people to work with as their office is easy to schedule with and the field guys are very, very dependable.

They were super responsive and went out of their way to get the job done in a short window as the house was being SOLD!

The service was excellent. Jon called ahead of time and was on time, he diagnosed the problem quickly and made all the repairs in about an hour. Also examined other older switches and sockets that he recommended that we consider upgrading in the near future. Jon was personable, friendly and answered all my wife's questions. We will certainly call Current again for any future electrical work.

Replaced and upgraded electrical junction box that met code for 2 ceiling fans in 2 different rooms. Replace 2 bathroom exhaust fans with ones that are quiet and now both have lights as well.

Terrific! Used $200 off coupon, which greatly reduced final cost. Called and immediately scheduled an appointment, was given all details (who was coming, when, what to expect). Repair person arrived promptly, had shoe covers for going in and out, and respected our wishes to keep doors closed because of our indoor cats. He explained work to be done, went over work when finished, was courteous and thorough. He worked quickly and efficiently (not spending extra time to bill hours, something we have experienced in the past). They are our new electricians!

Our old light switch did not match the one we bought and when we tried to replace it on our own, we discovered that the new light switch did not match the old one. Also there was not enough wiring in the box to make a change. The electrician Dan assessed the problem, gave us an estimate and proceeded to replace the switch and extend the wiring. In addition, our appointment was moved up when an opening became available so we did not have to wait another week.

Trouble shoot electrical issue, was done quickly and was a VERY Simple issue (A switch had been flipped that I didnt know existed) but $175 cost remained regardless of how simple it was and how much other work that I was having done. Installed additional outlets on the upper level of the house. One location behind my desk and in a corner of the house required an external conduit and box. this was not done very well as the box is quite loose and additional holes were rough patched at a later date. many things on and around the desk were knocked over and not picked up (including antiques and hard drives!). In each of my young childrens rooms, there was leftover hardware (screws, broken tabs, washers wire ends, etc). with a 1 yr old, that is a problem. And lastly, as the install was on the top floor, there were a number of lines run through the attic. when i reviewed that area it was the messiest yet. insulation was strewn all over and large gaps remained uncovered by the roll-in fiberglass which is so important in my old house. That plus the boxes and things that were up there were covered in debris and old insulation. its as if he threw the insulation all over depending on where he needed to go and very hastily threw it back to the easiest spot from where he was standing. A nice enough guy, and the simple pricing seems like a good idea but the cost to quality relationship doesn't seem to match.

The gentlemen was very informative and helpful. He tested out different electrical systems outside of our house. He was very honest.

A kitchen light fixture was repaired and they looked at the bathroom fixture and recommend we replace rather than repair this fixture. The tech was punctual. He covered his feet which i thought was a nice touch. He got right to work. Everything was done to my satisfaction. I had some trouble understanding their pricing scheme when i asked about future work, but the tech gave me written quotes on the things i wanted done. Great job!

We originally decided to get this work done due to an Angie's List coupon ($200 worth of service for $99) and are familiar with Current Electric. We were very satisfied with their communication, scheduling, promptness, professionalism and ultimately their quality of work. What caught us off guard was the price for the work, which I feel we should have inquired about before purchasing the coupon. I thought the coupon for $200 of service would have covered the majority of the work, but then to see that we needed to pay an additional $295 on top of that was a bit shocking (no pun intended). As I stated, they did their job well, but I think the price was a bit on the higher end for a pretty basic install. The outlet was installed literally 10 feet (or less) from the circuit box on the outside of our home. We would use them again, but only if we inquired about pricing first so we would know what to expect so we could fit it into our budget. If they have flat rate fees, they should inquire about the work being done before scheduling so customers can anticipate costs more accurately.

The installation went great, he arrived on time. Very willing to consult on where to put it. His personality was so upbeat and laid back, yet very professional. I am very happy with the job, and I would hire him again in a heart beat.

They were great from the beginning. I asked for an hour lead time call and received on exactly an hour before Bob arrived. We went through all the projects I wanted done. Bob went to his truck and priced out each job. We then went through them together and decided he'd do four of the seven that day. He fixed a faulty attic light, rewired a triple switch, fixed a badly connected basement light and installed an outdoor security light. He also left me the pricing for the other three projects I will do with them in the spring. Overall, a great experience and Bob even made friends with Murphy, our cocker spaniel!

Originally they were scheduled to come on Monday 11/11/13 around 10:00 but Jim, the electrician was held up at his first appointment. Current Electric sent Derek, another electrician to get some of the work done but he could not complete the roof vents because it had snowed that day and it was too wet. He came back with Todd on Friday 11/15, arrived at the time promised and completed the work in a short amount of time. Derek and Todd were very professional and they did a great job. I am very satisfied with Current Electric and would definitely use them again.

Great, Kevin and Mike were extremely nice. Neither took a break during both full days. The work looks great

I was not familiar with this company but purchased their "Big Deal" offering on Angie's List after reading the positive reviews. I'm so happy that I did. Dan was great to work with and answered all my questions about adding an additional circuit to my box for the kitchen microwave. He was thoughtful about how to bring the new line up to t the kitchen and the project was completed quickly and cleanly. Dan took the time to talk about any other small electrical jobs that I may need to take care of in the future. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future!

It turned out pretty good. I paid about $60 more and that was it. This is the third time I've used them. They're really good.
