I found them through Angie's List. It was quite expensive. They were very punctual. They did a really nice job. I worked on a few guys in the past. They've always done really nice. Everything that they've done just worked. It was expensive but everything that they did had good quality. It really didn't take that much time They were here at 8:00 and they were done by 11:00. They did it in 3 hours. They didn't charge by the hour. They charged by the job. They got the work done and it was all correct. Everything was very, very well. They were professional. There were two guys doing the labor. Their responsiveness was very good. They scheduled me within a week. I called and they were here within a week.

I'm satisfied with the work. The electrician was very courteous and knowledgeable. I thought the price was a bit high but then again you need to pay for good help. The same cannot be said for their office staff. Today, 7 months later, I got a call from them demanding another $1,100!!! They did a job for somebody else, somewhere else, and they must have decided to pick me at random to pay for it when it went overdue. I will never, EVER do business with Current again. There's plenty of electricians out there who do good work and keep better books.

It went ok, I would recommend them.

Clean up is outstanding. I told the guy that I could sweep out the basement. He said, no, we don't want any of our mess going upstairs. I was extremely pleased with that. They are very neat. The swept the entire basement both days they were here. At the end of each work day they asked me to come downstairs, told me is this what you expected? Told me if you want any changes just let us know. So, so far, I'm very pleased with them. I'd definitely recommend them to anybody else and I'd call them back.

First of all, Dan is fabulous. On his first trip, he showed me that the old bathroom light fixture was pretty much cooked. I felt that a new one was in order. He returned at a later date, and as he was orienting Eric, I had the pleasure of having two great electricians do my installation. There was a savings if more than one light fixture was installed at the same time. I had the old dining room light replaced as well. The job was done efficiently, and I really enjoyed having them do this lovely update in my home. They look marvelous......I mean the light fixtures!!!?

I called for an appointment and couldn't get to me for about 3 weeks. Was voluntarily added to their "float list" (if a customer cancels or they have extra time they will call the float list customer to see if they can come and do the work). Less than a week after scheduling the original appointment they called, asked if I was available right now, and sent an electrician over. I work at home, so this was an ideal situation. I provided the fixture, the dimmer switch, and switch plate cover, he provided the outlet. John scoped out the situation, gave me the quote (they offer an Angie's list $25 off coupon), and started work. John was personable, knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. I am very happy with my new light fixture and switch/outlet, happy with the length of time it took ,happy that he went into the attic rather than me, and happy with the cost. I will call Current Electric again when I need electrical services. Job well done!

I contacted Current and told them that a light fixture was not getting power. After a "Level 1 Diagnostic" and $179, the technician told me...the light fixture was not getting power. After thinking about the encounter, I called the technician the next day and tried to discuss what was actually was performed during the "Level 1 Diagnostic" and received vague, incomplete responses. After $179 I am in the exact same situation as when I called Current.

I was very pleased with their service.

It was fantastic. They did what they were supposed to do. They did it efficiently and quickly. It looks great.

The company was very responsive. They had an opportunity to come out sooner than scheduled and called to let me know they had an opening. The electrician who came out was very polite and helpful. I have used the company in the past was was pleased then, also.

I called about 2 weeks ago and today was the earliest they could come which was fine because I didn't have to take off work. Jon came out and gave us an estimate to replace the smoke detectors which was what I originally called them about. Price was fine and we only paid a $20 trip charge because I mentioned Angie's List. We've been having problems with coyotes in our backyard and have no lighting out there, so I asked him if he could give us an estimate to do that work too. I didn't expect to get it done today because it was a last minute add on item, but he called the office and was able to get a helper out and do both jobs today. I had previously purchased the fixtures, so I had them on hand. I did have to run out and get the light bulbs because they were out of them when I was at the store the first time. Jon told me which type to get. We also asked about doing some other work including re-doing some wiring with some switches and re-routing some outlets to another circuit. He looked at everything and said it shouldn't be a problem. This is something we plan to do in the future. Jon was a great guy and did excellent work! We will definitely call them back to do the other work we want done.

When they contacted me, I was told they could not do my work until a month later. So I went with someone else.

Dan was fantastic and had good solutions for the issues we asked for help with. He also pointed out other potential trouble spots, offered solutions for those and was not at all pushy about it. Looking forward to working with him in the future!

He looked at everything I wanted looked at first and gave me several options for work that could be done. In addition to the work above he pointed out some work that I might have done in the future. He was very personable and prepared and organized in his work and got it done quickly at a reasonable price. I would definitely have him back.

First of all Jon from Current Electric is FANTASTIC, he is so knowledgeable and friendly as was his apprentice Tim. I had a couple of little things I needed that I was saving up for them when I did a bigger project with the only electrician I ever call, Current Electric. I got a new electric stove and my old outlet was the wrong kind and not grounded properly so the stove timer/clock didn?t work. Jon put in a new, safe, grounded correct outlet and now the stove clock/timer works perfectly. Then I broke a light bulb in my ceiling fan and couldn?t get the remains out to install a new light bulb, of course Jon fixed that right away too. But the main reason I think you would be very happy if you called Current Electric and Jon came to your house is because he is really, really good at fishing new wires around to accommodate new service fixtures without completely tearing down all your dry wall. This is no small task and what took Jon and Tim the most time to complete but of course their work was perfect and now I have three new recessed ceiling lights in my living room/dining room that are really going to brighten things up around here during the darker winter season. And of course, Jon and Tim cleaned up everything when they were done which I appreciated very much. Call Current Electric they are the BEST!

Nothing - Provider is booked two weeks out and not able to schedule appts. I guess if you need something done in the next couple of weeks you need to call someone else.

Work was done by service technician Kevin. He was extremely professional and took time to answer my questions. He provided the cost of the job prior to starting work. The quality of work was excellent and Kevin was extremely careful to protect my home by wearing foot covers and spreading a drop cloth. I am very satisfied with the function of the installed items. That being said I am still quite dismayed by the cost of these services. I had work done by Current several years ago and their prices have increased considerably. I received a follow-up call to check my customer satisfaction and conveyed my concern about the high cost at that time. I was assured that I was charged their current standard rate.

Very well. The team was prompt, did a great job of installing the equipment and provided education on the product.

BAD EXPERIENCE! 1. Current Electric was within $100 of our other quote. They bought the CHEAPEST materials! We found the same kit they used online for $79 and the job was quoted at $1,850! 2. They installed the material wrong! When I talked to them to get the job redone properly with the correct materials, all they did was ask for more money. WE did NOT change the specs on the job. (We already had coils on the other side of the house and showed them to Electric so they knew what we expected.) I felt like they were doing a bait and switch and since the job was done wrong, I felt forced to agree to pay more. 3. The on switch for electricity to the coils in is my laundry room. Three days after they did the work, I went into that room and found the switch on! They are very sloppy and irresponsible. 4. They tried to charge us $45 for the quote.

I waited several weeks for an appointment, The day before I received a call confirming a 10 am appt and that I would receive a call 30 min before arrival. I took off work to be home. After being an hour late, i received a call from the office that the person assigned the work was running late with a previous customer and was to receive an update no later than 1:00. No call came. At 1:30 I received a message that no one would be able to come and I would need to be rescheduled for some time in the future. After calling back, I was told that sometimes this happens with "second appointments" and I could be put on a wait-list for some time on Saturday otherwise it would be later in the future. The reason I rated D and not F was because the woman on the phone did seem genuinely sorry and offered to waive the fee they were going to charge me to have someone come and give an estimate. Given the advance notice, details provided, multiple late calls, and the fact that they could've been more forthcoming about the way they schedule and tried to find someone else to come out, I was very frustrated that I took a day off work and waited around for nothing. My recommendation if you were going to work with this company would be to make sure you are the first appointment in the day and ask that they've scheduled enough time for the work to be performed.
