The tech was late, but called letting me know there was a mix up. And adjusted his mistake and came over ASAP. Was very professional and helpful. Was able to preform work next day. Very happy with work would recommend to anyone.

He installed the light fixtures I bought, then I had him looked at the light in my kitchen above the sink, and he told me that it looks like I just need to get a new light fixtures then he asked me if I purchased this thru Angie's List and when I said yes, he just okay, "Bye". I thought we had enough time to get my $200 worth of credit to install a new switch but he just left.

They were extremely expensive. I would not use them again. They were outrageous so I got somebody else to do it. I just checked the $100 Deal whatever worked out and what I get for that and I had somebody else do the main work.

The electrician found an error in the bathroom which was a loosen wire and I was charged full price for the five-minute work. I was not too happy about it as the charge was too high for this work. He, however, was able to resolve the second work, which was the office's circuit - the problem was a mess, but I was happy that the office is working again. I just wished the charge would not be at high as $275. Dan

Two employees were assigned, with a third coming because he was freed up. They were promptly here on time, very polite and courteous. They put bags on their feet to not dirty up my house, as well as they cleaned up everything afterwards. They were very knowledgeable and performed the tasks quickly. They would show me what they would do before hand and then show me again afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. They accomplished a lot for what I paid so I felt like I got a good deal. It was a very good experience working with this company. I would definitely go with them again. I'm very satisfied.

They did a good job, I am happy with the service provided. The panel itself (Eaton) appears a bit cheaply made (the door is bent and doesn't close well) however the inspector said that's common with most panels these days, and the panel itself is a quality product as far as function and performance.

It went well and we are very please. He was very professional and called in help when he saw the job was going to be bigger. They are not the cheapest or the most expensive.

Called to request and estimate/ quote to upgrade 2 - 60 amp service panels (with fuses) in upper/lower West Milwaukee duplex. Was informed that there would be a $45 dispatch fee for the tech to come and assess the situation. When I questioned the fee, I was told the tech could begin the work right away. I said that would not be possible as this was a potential large job that would most likely require replacing and updating the meter sockets. I indicated I needed an estimate due to the amount of work required. I was told again that there would be a $45 dispatch fee. I said "No, thank you. I have no interest in paying a fee for an estimate." I would understand the policy if the business was operating as simply a repair service, but their website clearly states a wide array of services and "quoted up front prices". I will say they were up front regarding the $45 dispatch fee, but was certainly surprised by the fee. I spoke with 3 other contractors and none had any fees associated with obtaining an estimate.

We had a heavy hanging pendant light in our den. The ring on the light fixture broke, pulled the wires from the ceiling, and shorted out the circuit. We contacted them about it. They weren't available for about 2 weeks, but told us to keep the circuit off so there wouldn't be a problem. On the day before our service call, we found out that we might have a slight conflict with the appointment time, so I called and asked if they could push it back a little and they had no problem with that. Lee came out right on time (the new time) and looked at the light. He said that it actually pulled the fixture cord from the ceiling, not the wires which was good. We had purchased a new light fixture as a replacement. He put it together and wired it back up. Everything worked perfectly. He then asked if there was anything else he could help us with, which we didn't. Very nice guy! This is the second time we used them. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future.

They were reasonable and gave us Angie's List discount. They are very efficient.

If I need anything electrical to do I call them. I have had three different electricians they have never disappointment me. They went overboard to accommodate me. I did not have a part and he said he knew where he could get a part and he went to get the part and the receipt and he put it in. He said it was a part of their service. The fan I had could have caused a fire and they did excellent work.

PROBLEM WAS SOLVED AND CORRECTED BEFORE THEY CAME. THEY COULD NOT COME FOR 10 DAYS, WHICH CAUSED ME TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE AND CANCEL THEIR APPT.

Excellent. One part of the job was to replace the old rusty water-damaged electrical panel (circa 1966) with a new one and move the location to a different wall of the basement (to avoid more possible/future water damage). The other part of the job was to replace the outlets in every room - because cords would not stay plugged in. We could have done the job ourselves, but we are not electricians and wanted to ensure that the job was done properly and safely. Kevin and his helper were courteous, conscientious, considerate (wore booties over his shoes in the house), and did a great job cleaning up the multiple areas. We have had zero issues - everything works exactly as we had hoped.

I would NEVER recommend this company. Not quite sure why they have such good ratings. Dan was very nice when he came out to give us a bid and inspect our electrical but seemed like he was trying to "upsell" us on things we didn't even ask for. Then we received a super high quote given to us in "package options". Not only are the bids they gave us DOUBLE the one we received from another local company, but the work we did have them do they charged us double for also and installed a new metal box that the other electrician said we didn't even necessarily need. When we called to ask for a breakdown in costs and how they figured out the charges, they could not give us one. When we asked why the 1 thing we did have Dan do was so expensive in comparison to what the other company told us it would cost, we were told that because we did not go with one of the "package options" and just had one item done, it was charged at a higher fee. What?! How does that even make sense? So....basically, they can charge you whatever the heck they want to...???! When my husband called Current Electric and talked with the electrician, Dan, directly he could get no specific answers on how they breakdown their charges. He felt that Dan was condescending to him and basically didn't care that we were not happy with how they do business. We are a hard working, middle class family with 3 kids to feed and it is so sad to me that this company would try to make as much money as possible off of us and our obvious ignorance about electrical work. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are not trustworthy and do not deserve the high ratings they have on this site. I am beginning to think that the high ratings are suspect. Shame on you Current Electric.

It was fine. They did a very good job for us. I have no complaints. They came out a couple of weeks after the purchase. We've had them out here several times over the last couple of years. They are very prompt. I am very pleased with their work and they don't leave a mess. When they are done, everything works. I think that their price is good, it's what I would expect. I would use them again.
