Excellent, the quality of the work was great, the guys were on time for the estimate and completed work. They checked in with me multiple times when they thought the work may deviate from the original scope. They took care of all the permitting and made arrangements for the inspection to complete the permit.

The project was complicated by the old age of the house (old wiring) and by the fixtures I selected for replacement. One was a ceiling fan/light combination and required the installation of a new junction box in the attic space above the bedroom. Dan explained everything and was confident he could complete the project immediately. He was very organized, efficient & professional. The work was done quickly & with minimum disruption. I was beyond satisfied. I will be calling Dan for all my future electrical projects—and you should too!

Repairman came in, looked it over, made a few quick tests and gave us the quote. After we agreed on the price, he tracked down the problem and replaced a defective heat sensor on the recessed light fixture. When completed, he cleaned up the small mess in the shower. He explained everything to me as he progressed. Good Service, Good Repairman and Fair Price!

Overall the project went well. My house flooded and I was living with no utilities, including no running water or electricity (except for running some pumps with a generator). They came the first or second day from when I called, and hooked up an emergency outlet so I could run pumps without the generator Then they returned one or two days later to finish the work. They showed up with everything they needed, and worked in my wet basement that was full of wet debris all day, in July with no air conditioning, and yet remained pleasant throughout. I think their prices are high, but everyone raises their prices in an emergency and their work is generally very well done. They did give me credit for two outlets and light that they didn't replace. My only complaint would be that they actually placed my outlets lower on the basement walls than they were previously - even though the reason they had to be replaced is because they flooded. I would have preferred that the outlets were placed higher. Also, because they replaced three of my outlets with dedicated outlets specifically for the sump pumps, they ultimately left me with fewer usable outlets than I had, including the one that provided power to the water heater. I had to have another electrician add an outlet when I had the water heater replaced.

We called Current Electric initially for the replacement of our ceiling light fixture (~16ft ceiling, and a 50+lb existing fixture.) We were scheduled right away (for a few days out,) and they sent two people for the job, because of the weight of the fixture. Joseph W. and his associate were extremely professional, polite, and skilled at their work. Our fixtures were switched out in under 30min, they updated the dimmer for improved LED capability, and were able to replace a GFCI outlet outside that had been rusted out from being improperly "fixed" before we bought our house. They also gave us quotes for other things. All in all, their quotes came in a tad over what we had seen online/called around about, but the service kind of makes up for it. The peace of mind and professionalism is worth a lot. We will definitely be calling them back!

Ended up needing a new light sensor. Took 30 minutes to identify and fix. All told, $160. Kind of pricey for the work, I think. But, they fixed it and did a good job. In addition, never received an invoice.

Terrible! They convinced my mother to replace ALL the bulbs in her house as the old bulbs were no longer up to code. They put in very expensive LED bulbs. Replacement bulbs were not needed, as all of the bulbs were working just fine! And then they threw away all the old bulbs! Just trying to take advantage of an elderly lady! I would never recommend them or use them again!

The original electrician couldn't make the appointment at 7:30 this morning but they sent someone else out this afternoon. Dale came and got everything working in short order. He was awesome to work with, very friendly and explained everything he did to me. I'm always looking for an electrician I can trust and now I have found them. I have more major work that needs to be done in the basement and I will rely on them again in the near future. Highly recommend Current Electric.

Our experience with Current was wonderful! From the office receptionist to the field electricians they were all professional and a pleasure to work with. The price quoted was reasonable and the service team did a nice, great job. They also took good care to protect the floor and furniture in the house and cleaned up when they were done. I highly recommend Current and I look forward to hiring them for future electric projects!

Set up an appointment weeks ago to have electrician quote some residential work. Was told he/she would be here around 9:00 am, as I was second stop of the day. This was confirmed twice by Current scheduling staff the day before, and I returned the second call to say I would be here. Electrician didn't show. I called company at noon; scheduler remembered talking to me the day before and said she'd look into it. Came back few minutes later to say yes, I was scheduled and she would call the electrician. and call me back. When she did, she said the electrician spent more time than expected on previous project and would arrive sometime this afternoon. I cancelled at that point. After sitting around for 4 hours waiting, why would I wait an unknown amount of time more? Why didn't someone from Current Electric call to say there was a significant delay? Plus, Current Electric charges for quotes. The scheduler knew I had been waiting all morning; a company truly interested in my business would have offered to waive the fee. I cannot recommend this company at all.

It was a big job and took several days. The crew did a good cleanup job. The building inspector approved all work.

Dani was knowledgeable and arrived on time. He listened to my description of the problem and was able to diagnose and correct it fairly quickly. He also checked my entire breaker box after completing the work &also gave tips & suggestions to help ward off future problems. The amount I paid was very reasonable. I also referred this company to a coworker and she was just as pleased with the work they did for her. Thank you Angie's List for helping me hire the right contractor!

Scheduled for a Friday as the 2nd appt of the day, tech arrived early afternoon and informed me there wasn't time to install fan. I had described scope of job in great detail when making appointment but there apparently was a disconnect between schedulers and electricians. I was very upset with the scheduling, not with the tech who was professional, calm, polite,etc. The tech was immediately on the phone trying with other techs to rearrange schedules so that I could be fit in before first appointment on the following Monday to install the fan. Since the installation is normally a 2 person job, two techs showed up Monday. The job was meticulous, finished product was perfect and great care was taken to protect wood floors, furniture, area rug. The installation took about 3 hours, partially in a difficult attic space of a mid rise condo building on a very hot day. The area was clean when they left. The techs were very respectful of my home. Although the initial appointment had some conflict, the tech went above and beyond to resolve it to my great satisfaction. As with all plumbing and electrical jobs, the bills always seem pricey but I would rather pay once for a perfect job and have peace of mind that everything was safely installed or repaired. Awesome tech, awesome tech's boss who was the 2nd installer, awesome outcome. I have been thoroughly enjoying my new fan since. This is the third time in about 10 years that I have used Current Electric and each time I have been impressed by the expertise and professionalism of the techs. I will certainly use them for all my electrical needs.

I had a bobcat hit a power line running out to the shed from my farmhouse, I called current electric, was blown off two days in a row, finally decided to pay for the emergency service ($250+) after which representative came out immediately, cackling and giggling and told me that he wasn't going to do it as it wasn't going to be to code. He did get up on a ladder and tell me he wouldn't even know how to hook it back up (there were 3 wires sticking out, a red, a black and a white) Then tried to use scare tactics to tell me that my service panel is "dangerous" and to look online at ismypanelsafe.com which its not, (iv had it inspected within the last year). Oh, the best part, told me that the company would have to redo everything in my house and it would cost $3000-4000. That they would send a quote. I wasted 3 days time, and over $250 for absolutely nothing. Oh, the tech did say that it sucks that I still have to pay the emergency fee even though they did nothing. He did say, they are easy, but not cheap. I called another company and had it fixed the following week. This place is a JOKE. Don't waste your time.

Because my main panel and sub-panel are full, several tandem breakers needed to be installed to accommodate moving/adding of other circuits. Work preformed was very neat and professional. They arrived same day I called for estimate and work was done 2 days later. Everything went well. Will be calling them again for electrical service as Current Electric is my new electrician.

We lost power to our garage and I called expecting to wait a few days for service. They actually had a technician in the area and found an hour to fit us in. My wife and I were very impressed with Donny's timeliness and attention to detail. Not to mention he was just a good guy. Great experience and will definitely go back for future work.

They are a pleasure to work with. Arrived on time. Both guys were friendly and knew what they were doing. They completed everything efficiently and cleaned up after themselves before they left. There work and professionalism is outstanding.

Once again I am amazed by their service. They gave me the option to have an electrician out the next day. I had to ask for a week later as I was not expecting to get in so fast. On the day of, Joe W., the electrician was right on time. He was very polite and professional. He put his booties on and had blankets out as to not track in dirt. I gave him a walk through and he gave me recommendations on the items I needed. He also provided me some great recommendations down the road of ways to make things better and whether its something I could do myself. This was super helpful. For weeks I was trying to google how to do some of these tasks… but he knew right away. I should have saved myself the stress and just called them up. Along the way he found out my electrical box wasn’t configured correctly. I had him write up a quote and it was pretty cheap to fix so I had him do it as well. He was never pushy about it. Just very informative. I had supplied most of the supplies, fan, etc…but a couple things I didn’t get the right item so he ran to the wholesale store and picked up the right parts. He was back in no time with another electrician. They cranked out everything in a few hours, a lot faster than either of us thought. They knew exactly what was needed and help solve me some of the headaches of how the heck they were going to do something without causing me drywall issues or access issues. When done, they cleaned up everything. I tested it all and it worked better than I imagined. I am super excited for everything they were able to help me out with today. I would definitely recommend.

They did a good job on the installation. However, I paid extra to have them handle the city inpection. They forgot to do it. When I called to check and see if it had been done, it had not been done. They did arrange for the inspection after I call and it was taken finally taken care of.

Receptionist was able to schedule a consultation when I first called. Attic fans came within a couple of days after the consultation visit and were installed the next week. From my first call to the job being completed was about one week - can't beat that! Everyone was very professional, friendly and courteous. Kevin seemed very knowledgeable about attic ventilation and installation of attic fans. The new fans were installed so that they now operate much more quietly than what was there previously. I would definitely use Current Electric again.
