Description of Work: We chose this company in part because of price and in part because he was "in the neighborhood." He was prompt with the estimate and had some options to discuss with us. Once we made our commitment to use his services, he was not always so prompt at returning our calls. He seemed to start work around lunchtime and didn't finish 1 night until after 10pm, a long day for him and his assistant, which was their choice, but also a long day for us, trying to stay awake until they finished for the night. The furnace with humidifier and water heater seem to be working as promised but we are somewhat concerned about how quickly he might respond to service issues in the future although he assured me that "service is a very important part of his business." | |We are very happy to finally have high efficiency equipment although for a bit more money we could have gotten higher efficiency equipment and a tax write off but were not made aware that that might have even been an option.

+ -1 moreSteve was GREAT! He was able to come out the same day I called, at a time that was convenient for me. He went into the (rickety!) attic and was able to quickly identify and fix the problem. He spent some additional time with me, suggesting maintenance options and time schedules (getting the other boiler cleaned in early fall, etc) without making me feel pressured to and quot;purchase servicesand quot; and quot;on the spot.and quot; I would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely use again if needed!
Description of Work: cleared condensation out of a pressure tube on a non-functioning furnace and restored to functioning.

He was able to coordinate with the remodelers to keep the renovation on time, even when our old, hydronic heating system threw some monkey wrenches into the remodel. We have some other HVAC needs and we will definitely be using him for those.
Description of Work: Steve subcontracted on a full bathroom renovation.
