Description of Work: on 10-8-2013 he did job of cleaning out gutters and replacing broken/missing gutter brackets. did a "lazy" job of cleaning |the gutters and didn't even bag up debris that he tossed on |the lawn/driveway from gutter. didn't replace all the broken |brackets, even though I purchased the number of them that he told to get plus a couple more - he used them all up, yet 6 weeks later, when the roofing job started, the roofers found several | broken brackets and 2 areas where the brackets were not there. | I called him several times, with no response. what he charged me was way too much, especially since he did not replace all the broken and |missing brackets and yet took over an hour longer to do the work that he did do than he said it would take.......go figure that one out. |before the bracket issue came to my attention, in mid November, he dropped off a his "proposal" to put up 4 shutters that had come off the house, @$60./hr. 1-2 hours labor, plus pressure washing, tuck pointing and painting of my house, also @$60./hr. but with no real definite amount of time it would take to complete the job, 11-7-2013. I knew that the "proposal" to put up the 4 shutters was ridiculous, as far as the time to do it and the amount per hour to do the job, so I passed on that, eventually having a handyman put up the 4 shutters plus a fifth one that had come off, for $25.00 and put up all 5 in only a little over 45 min. and that included the attachment of the wood pieces and hardware used. as far as the his "proposal" for the paint job, he stated that given the weather turning cold soon, he would not be able to do the painting job until spring, and I should call him then. in the meantime the bracket issue came to my attention and that is when I called getting no reply, plus he was no where to be found come spring 2014, when I made numerous attempts to contact him for the painting job. and to think he wanted money down , in 2013, for the paint job he said he would do in spring 2014 - wow!!!!
