Excellent workmanship and very professional. We've been using Burkhardt for 14+ years and are very happy with our new system.

I have never had a service person as good as them. He came in during the rainy weather and was very nice and non invasive. He was very pleasant and let me know when he was done. I hardly knew he was here. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

They came and fix it about 15 minutes. They told me they will come back a week and half. Bought a brand new furnce from them. I will never use them again.

Called on a Monday afternoon, as furnace (27 years old) was not heating as usual. The owner came over within a couple of hours, and we scheduled the work for the following day. The work crew were on time, clean, thorough, and helpful. The installation of the central air conditioner was done as well, even in the snow and single digit temperatures! The whole system included a new "smart" thermostat, that I love checking on my phone!

On 01/27/2019 at approximately 9:00am I called their 24-Hour Emergency Service number because my furnace was not working correctly and my home was extremely cold. I spoke with a gentleman who I believe his name was “Doug”. I’m not 100% sure of this as he was hard to understand because he was screaming at me. “Doug” processed to “cuss me out”. “Doug” made mention of problems in his personal life and told me I don’t know s**t about furnaces. With that being said I have had work done by this company in the past which I was satisfied with. However, solely based on the way I was screamed at by “Doug” I will never do business with this company again. “Doug” if you’re having issue in your personal life that is understandable however it is not an excuses to be verbally assaultive to customers.

Following our evening post on Angies list to a few companies, the head of the Burhardt came out early the next morning, explained our options and pricing thoroughly and we bought a furnace and he had it installed the next day. The installation went great, the furnace is working well. My only complaint is that the wi fi ready programable Bryant thermostat that we bought with the system works well as an at home programable thermostat but is frequently offline daily with the Bryant server. The app and the server for Bryant are not yet wi fi ready to be reliant, Not Burkhardt's fault, but Bryant's. My Nest worked much better as a wi fi thermostat than the Bryant does.

They did the tune up on Friday the 21st and after 4 days I was out of heat on Christmas day. My furnace is only 3 years old and never ever had an issue. I did the tune up just as a due diligence and now wish that I hadn't. They did not take any accountability that this happened after they "Cleaned" the furnace. They replaced the bad part(cost $35 in the internet) and charged me $321 for 45 minutes of work on the 25th. I called their manager and the first thing out of his mouth was he should have charged me more. Never doing business with them again and will warn my friends and neighbors.

Burkhardt made appointment quickly and convenient for us. Upon arriving, Technician also addressed loud noise from fan before tuneup. He found filter fabric in with fan. He removed and noise ceased. Performed tuneup and tested for gas leak. Found small leak at water heater gas tube. He sealed the leak. Charge was for tuneup only. Could not be more pleased and will set up annual appointments for heating and air conditioning systems.

My serviceman, Dennis, was polite, punctual, courteous and knowledgeable without being condescending. Service was snappy and any repairs were explained to me in plain English. I’d definitely recommend using Burkhardt (and will again should the need arise) as they went above and beyond this call.

Things went good. Service tech arrived a little outside the appointment window but he called and gave me notice that he was running late due to his previous appointment. Did a good job and advised me regarding a couple concerns which the main office followed up on in a few days. I had used another company prior to using them two years ago and that company wasn't as thorough doing the maintenance compared to Burkhardt.

We were looking to replace our 31 year old furnace and air conditioner. From the time we met Doug at our appointed for an estimate until completion of the work, we have been totally satisfied with our experience. Doug was very thorough with the information he provided at the estimate. Aaron and Ken, the installers, were very professional and spent as much time as needed to answer questions and provide operational information. Bil, the service technician, who was sent out to check out some things we had questions about, was also very thorough and professional. We highly recommend this company!

What a complete joke this company is. I needed a quote for a gas leak (naturally you call several places in this scenario). booked a service call the next day and gave them my card info. I was able to get someone the SAME DAY and called back and canceled. Talked to Leslie, who has terrible customer service skills. Because i said the wrong name (accidentally called them roman electric who i just hung up with) when i canceled my appointment, they won't issue a refund. no one was put out or ever came to my house. Since i did actually call to cancel and no one showed up and i told them later that day that when they called to verify that i had it handled, they should not charge me. When we called to see if we can get there earlier than 8am (like around 7am) you said you already canceled with roman electric (a different company). Then when we emailed to confirm if you were canceling or not. We never heard from you. So then we called again a little while later-same day as you scheduled the appointment, and you said it was already taken care of by someone else that same day.. So you never called US to cancel at any time. So I apologize I could not be of any more assistance with you here. But a refund can not be issued. This is not the only company I have hired over the years, but it is by far the best. There was attention paid to any questions I had; and this helped to install confidence in the knowledge and ability of the technician.

Dennis came to fix our furnace/air conditioner and I was very happy with his expertise and professionalism. I also appreciate that he taught me more about my system and how to keep it running more efficiently. Thank you and I will certainly hire Burkhardt Heating & A/C in the future when needed!

Kelly, the service technician, called prior to arrival saying he would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived on time, analyzed our a/c unit, ran leak test and determined our 15 year old unit was low on refrigerant (ended up needing 2 lbs) but did not find any significant leak. Asked what he would recommend to his brother/uncle and he suggested adding refrigerant this time and assess replacing unit in the future.if problems resurface. AC is providing comfortable temperature now.

Every step of the way----from the initial meeting, information about options, and the quote---to the finished work, was very professional! The installing team went out of their way to provide what I requested in the "boiler room". We are very glad that we chose Burkhardt from all the others!

Top notch. They weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive quote I got either. The work they did was perfect! I had a major removal and reinstall requiring new furnace and air, along with significant ducting work being created from scratch and routed through an existing closet. These guys did a phenomenal job and were worth every penny!

Wonderful! The service tech Kelly was able to identify the leak without a working sniffer and without tearing apart the coil mechanism.

Good, thoroughly professional job. Was familiar with my older (2001) oddball brand (Ducane) furnace. Found a badly corroded flue duct going from the furnace to the chimney with some small holes that were just starting to penetrate through the metal. These were in an area hidden from someone making a casual inspection (like me!). Lesson learned: have a professional inspect this critical system at least every two years. If I had waited on this any longer, I would have been a goner! I’ve also since installed CO detectors. I will definitely have these guys inspect my system again this year.

Ok, they said our unit was 29 years old and we'd need a new one, but they were able to repair what was wrong so we can keep going.

Service tech Dennis called and showed up within 15 mins as promised. Completely checked out our central air & furnace. Determined that we needed to replace our thermostat. Installed a new electronic thermostat & our AC was back quickly. Thanks Dennis. I'd hire Burkhardt again in a heartbeat.

Dennis the "service pro" was on time, professional, and helpful. He diagnosed that our AC condenser was low on fluid; he explained the problem and his solution in easy-to-understand terms. He refilled the AC and looked for obvious leaks. He also left me with signs to watch out for and recommendations on future leak detection and possible coil replacement.

The team was very courteous and professional. They quickly figured out why my air conditioner wouldn’t always start up and corrected it. They also did a full maintenance check up on the unit. Despite the fact that my air conditioner is old, they were not pushy about replacing it. I would absolutely use them again!

Our 14 year old furnace conked out unexpectedly (when do they give us a notice?) on a cold early April day. I called two well recommended furnace companies, of which Burkhardt's was one. Both were prompt in sending out a rep to give me a proposal on a new system, but the furnace Burkhardt proposed was what seemed to be of equal quality and more cost favorable. We chose Burkhardt. The installation was done two days later (at my request) and could not have been handled better. The two technicians they sent arrived promptly, used shoe covers to protect our floors and did the job in less time than anticipated. The furnace has been working since (sad to say we are still in heating season here) and is very quiet. The comfort level in our main and lower level floors (the areas served by this furnace) is the same if not better than with the old furnace. I would recommend them wholeheartedly!
