BUILDING BLOCKS CONSTRUCTION

Overall we love the finished room. The project had delays but, for the most paart it was because of sub delay or problems. We had a very experienced crew member, Nathanial, who was on the job daily and coordinated everything along with the company owner. Nathanial was a terrific communicator and a perfectionist carpenter. Our cabinet maker was not part of the construction team but used Building Blocks to help install the custom cabinets. The team was flexible, hardworking, very professional and courteous. I would insist upon having Nathanial as head of the crew should I need Building Blocks for another project. The crew was very respectful of my allergies and worked hard to create a total barrier between the work area and the rest of the house.

Myles was competent, careful, and he contributed good ideas as well as good workmanship. He seemed to care about doing a good job. His bid was not the lowest (it was not out of line, though) but his expertise was worth the slightly higher cost.

Extremely positive experience with a very young, enthusiastic and perfectionistic contractor who was recommended by another tradesman. Though we were a bit reluctant to go with his youth, this was a very positive experience for a homeowner who is willing to work with a craftsman who works best with owner involvement. Tile work was perfectionistic; custom cabinets by Myles and his brother were beautiful; carpentry was really top-notch; very respectful of owner allergies and measures to mitigate (ducting, vacuum, etc.); extreme cleanliness and daily cleanup; delays were not his fault; subbed plumber was respectful, competent and helpful; subbed general worker was friendly, respectful and hard worker; if not on time, we had an appropriate call to advise; changed orders and charges were more than fair. A green builder, if that is what you desire. What a tribute to a modern artisan. Do not be deceived by his youthful appearance. He is knowlegeable, honest and skilled!
