If you have carpenter ants then Jerry at Bug Masters is who you need to call! We have spent a great deal of money with other pest control services only to have the ants come right back. Jerry came right on time, explained everything he would be doing, kindly answered every one of my questions and went right to work. I haven’t seen an ant since!! AND he guarantees his work for 2 years!!! There’s a reason Jerry always gets high rated reviews.......he’s that good!

Jerry first explained his background and his method of of ridding our crawl space of carpenter ants. Then he sprayed around the house and asked us to watch if we saw any more ants. He followed up with a return visit three days later to make sure all the ants were gone. The ants were gone plus Jerry gave us a five year guarantee on his work.

This guy is my HERO! Just as I was about to head up north for my annual fishing vacation yellow jackets invaded our front porch and basement and there was no way my wife was going to let me leave with that going on. I called on a Saturday morning and explained what was happening and he said "I'll be there in 30 minutes." I couldn't believe it! 30 minutes later he was spraying our porch and basement and my vacation was saved.

They did a good job. He was a nice elderly gentleman. He's very nice, friendly and personable. He really was very thorough. His price was very reasonable. He knows what he's doing. He revisited the location and he was honest with me that I didn't need another application, so he didn't waste my money. Any time I call him I get him right away. The tenants didn't complain - I'm sure he was on time. He's very professional. He communicated with my tenants to work with them on a schedule. He's very easy to work with. You can communicate with him and count on him to follow through.

Excellent knowledge, professionalism and customer service. Jerry responded via email; and we talked by phone to discuss details. I wanted to be home in case he needed access via the inside of my garage (the aggressive nest was attached to a soffit vent on the garage.) He assured me he could do everything from outside; and would return if he found out he wasn't able to solve the problem without inside access. Jerry arrived early, rang the doorbell to let me know he was onsite and left his card in the door so I'd know he had been here. I was indeed home but not yet showered and dressed for the day, so I greeted him at the door with only a brief conversation that he would go ahead as if I weren't home. I went on about my business in the house, and an hour later he was just wrapping up. We were able to review what he had done. Jerry is very knowledgeable. I can verify that from many years experience as a homeowner who has hired both routine pest control in the past and for specific problem issues with wasps, ground bees, carpenter ants, and mice. Jerry was familiar with all those issues and described how he treats for such things. He made observations of other issues that may present in my yard and house given the wooded area and lots of natural pests. Jerry has a "customer goodwill" approach. He will not gauge you on price. It is obvious he enjoys what he does for a living, and takes pride in doing a job that will satisfy his customers at a fair price. And it is clear he will stand behind his work. We discussed the extent of work that may need to be done beyond this initial treatment, and for other pest issues that may occur. He is clear about what the price would be for other possible issues in the future, and for the specifics of the current problem. He will be making a follow-up visit to assure the areas treated are resolved; and treat them again if needed. I highly recommend Jerry!

Jerry Smith from Bug Masters did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him for ants, asian lady bugs, bees, box elder bugs, carpenter ants, earwigs, fleas, hornets, mice, spiders, and wasps. Jerry is a super nice guy who has owned his business for 20 years, is available 7 days a week, and is certified/licensed/insured. He also can provide humane animal trapping. Great! Jerry was very punctual, polite and friendly. He found a hole in which the mice were entering the basement and sealed it up, as well as set traps for any mice left inside. I would definitely recommend to others.

Bug Masters was very responsive! I submitted a web form on the morning of Labor Day, and I received an email from them by that evening. By around 1:00 the next afternoon, Jerry had taken care of both nests and talked through my questions and concerns.

Jerry sprayed the nest from inside the house. There was no smell or residue. He also walked around the yard to see if there were any other problems. We found some flying insects in the flower garden, but he explained that they are pollinators and that spraying them would also kill the bumblebees, so we decided to leave them alone. Jerry is thoughtful and trustworthy, and I call him whenever I encounter a bug problem.

Its been almost a year, and I have not had any ants in my home. He was great, polite and showed on time.

We found a volleyball size wasp nest under our 3rd floor eaves, which terrify us since we thought that's something dangerous. So we start to look for pest control experts on Angie's list. This morning my wife called Jerry Smith and the other high rating company. After she described what we encounter here, the other company start to promote their pest control program, which is more expensive then Jerry proposed. (That company gets A for overall but B for prices on Angie's list) Jerry didn't try to sell anything but just said that he can come within 30 minutes to take a look. 30 minutes later he shows up in front of our door and took a look at the 35-foot height wasp nest, then simply told us that those are Bald Faced Hornets and won't be a threat to anyone since the nest is so high above. And they should leave or die in the winter and won't come back, so we can save some money. After nicely answering some more questions from us, he just left with no charge..... I would like to remand this company to my friend and ask him to help us if we have any pest problem in the future.

We called late in the day on Friday and he came out early Saturday morning. We couldn't believe the fast and efficient service. He said he thought he got them all but if we found more over the course of the week he said to call him and he would be back out at no charge! Bug Masters is great!! We will definitely use them again.

Jerry is always available to take my calls. Even when I called past business hours he answered the call. He tried to meet my schedule. He even had to deal with my uncooperative tenant who cancelled appointments twice on short notice. He still was available for the reschedules. This rental had an unsanitary tenant. He helped by treating the space with extra product where needed and will come back again before the next tenant moves in to make sure there are no problems for the new tenant. He did not charge me extra for the reschedules and extra work involved. He was pleasant to deal with and gave me the right advice regarding how long the space should remain vacant and be treated again before new tenants move in. I appreciated how pleasant and accommodating he has been. I have used Bug Masters before and will use them again. I can't say enough good things about how he runs his business. He is just a nice person to work with.

Called in the morning and Jerry was at my house 2 hours later. He thoroughly inspected my entire property and exterminated the nest of yellow jackets that were living inside my gutters above the garage. Jerry did a great job - he's a nice, friendly person. I would definitely use him again!

He arrived early and explained the procedure for treating carpenter ants. He treated the entire perimeter of the house and surrounding landscape beds. He also treated several wasps nests. He was very professional and provided us a discount as a returning customer.

He did an excellent job because he kept us scheduled, he came and did the work. His price was reasonable. He's very responsive, he always return to my calls right away. He showed up when he said he would show up.

He was extremely responsive and came over right away to view the problem. Within a couple of days he scheduled the spraying outside - he was held up by weather - it must be dry to spray. He guaranteed the work for one year. I have not seen any ants since he sprayed. The only question/concern I would have is the price. It seemed a bit high, but he came highly recommended so I did not price shop the job.
