It went quite well. I was pleased that it was all done within one day. There was minimum damage to the surrounding yard, they repaired the fence that had to be taken down for access, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Bruce, the owner, was on the scene the entire time and was extremely polite and professional in his communication with me.

Bruce was super easy to work with. He comes with years of experience, listened to what we wanted, gave sound advice and a competitive estimate. The price wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Bruce called us when he said he would, sent the estimate when he said he would (he gave us a price when he was at our house and told us it would take a bit to get the written estimate), the work started when he said he would, and was done all in one day. I especially liked that he was on site with the crew during the job. Also, our sump pump discharge pipe runs under the driveway, when they took up the old driveway, they needed to replace part of the pipe and it was all included in the price. The work was done while we were at work and finished before we got home. Bruce didn't mind waiting a few says to be paid. He stopped by a few days later to pick up our check, drop off a lien-release, and make sure we were happy. There was pouring rain a few days later and the concrete near the house was bone dry. Overall, it a very good, easy experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Bruce to others.

They replaced the floor in my single car garage. I was impressed by their ability to cut and remove the existing floor without damaging the garage structure. There was even a challenging wall that had some wood stacked on it. They were able to work around it using manual tools. They showed up on time and did everything as scheduled. They even let my young son watch the skid steer and help pour some concrete. Made his day.

Bruce provided an honest assessment of what needed to be replaced and what had life left. His price was fair and the quality and response from his company was outstanding.

Everything went fine. When the front porch was finished we had a railing company come to put in a new railing. The employee who did the measuring and such raved and raved about the quality of work that Bruce Dahlgren did. He said it was far superior to any other work he has ever seen done.

**I only marked Responsiveness a B because he was so busy it was hard for him to return calls, but he did, and apologized. In 2006 Bruce installed a new back yard walkway and parking slab. Excavation and grading was needed. He went above and beyond realizing part of the slab needed a slight change in design, for better use. No charge added, I loved that he cared enough to think of it as his own. It is 7.5 years old and still in excellent shape (following his care advise). I just used him again for a new front walkway with steps and garage apron. Again, very professional prompt and excellent work. Kept me in the loop and was present for the job (both jobs) He knows his stuff and is very reliable. The price is, I feel, extremely reasonable. I strongly recommend him!!

the work went well and I was pleased with the outcome and price.

They replaced a 18'x18' concrete patio and a 20'x25' concrete driveway. They arrived on time and got right to work. Bruce supervised his crew. He also worked with them. After removing the patio they used surveying equipment to give the new patio the proper pitch away from the house. The depth of concrete for the patio was 4" (a 6 bag mix, low chert stone). Both wire and fiber mesh were used on the driveway which had concrete poured to a depth of 5". The entire job was completed in less than 9 hours. Their pricing was in the middle of four estimates I received.

It was very rude that they never contacted me back. I would rather they let me know they couldn't do the work than not respond at all. I can understand if they're busy, but they should just let me know.

From the get go everything was done on a very professional level. My neighbor and I had Bruce do the concrete work at the same time. Bruce made sure that everything was well tapered away from structures so water would run off into the alley and not collect were our driveways meet at the property line. The team worked well together and had my work and my neighbors done in 3 days. Bruce was easy to work with and made some very good suggestions. Many Thanks. Would definitely recommend.

This job was done in about 1 1/2 days - the work crew was neat, created a minimum of disruption, and Bruce planned the job so I was not inconvenienced at all (since both front and side stoops were being replaced). Bruce was on the job both days, which was great because I could ask questions and get the answers immediately. I also asked at the last minute to have the apron in front of my garage done and there was no problem. He also did an extra job of pallating the flagstone and taking to another location for me. The job was done quickly, within the budget he quoted, and with a minimum of lawn "damage". i would reccommend Bruce Dahlgren and his company to anyone (and already have to one of my neighbors). I was very happy with his work and will have him work on a relative's driveway.

There were a number of good things. Bruce is prompt, he is attentive and he is responsive. These are all really important things in the beginning to assess the trustworthiness and competence of a contractor. He called when he said he would call; arrived when he said he would arrive. When he told me he was going to have his crew out here, they all arrived ready to work and they got the project done in electric time - in fact the neighbors were astonished they were able to rip out and replace a concrete porch and walkway so quickly. I have to give them great credit for it because they were very efficient. They were very clean, they cleaned up after themselves which is very important as well. I have a very positive feeling about him. Bruce was actually thinking, in that he made suggestions as to how we might change and improve what we were doing. We had a step outside of a door that was a bit narrow, and he suggested we bring it out here and bring it out there and we do this and this, this is going to make it far more useful. That thinking is what I believe an experienced professional does. I was very pleased with it and that is why we are having him back out next week to do another project. I would definitely recommend him. His price was median of the four I got, his proposal was detailed and specific. One of my concerns was water pooling near the foundations, and he has made sure everything has the right gradient so that doesn't happen.

Bruce came over to take some measurements of my driveway. Said he would get back to me the following week with an estimate. When I did not hear from him after a few weeks, I called him and left messages for him on two occasions. He never returned my call. Guess he was not interested in doing the job.

He was prompt in providing and estimate, and advised us when rain delays would make it necessary to modify the work date. Answered all of our questions, provided proof of insurance and a lien waiver, and was overall really great to work with. His crew arrived on time and the work was done as promised. Would highly recommend him.

Bruce did a great job. He took out the old cracked floor and reinforced and reported a new floor and it looks awesome. He was extremely nice to work with and did a great job!

The job went extremely well. The demolition portion of the job went quickly and cleanly and the actual concrete pouring also went very fast and professionally. Bruce understood our unique, specific requests for certain items on the job and met them all very professionally. At our request and the advice of the mason we had doing brick repair work on the garage, Bruce's crew poured a separate section of concrete under the garage door separate from the apron, as requested, and did so in a very nice manner. Bruce was always responsive when we called him, and he was personally onsite during the demo and pour.

Bruce was helpful, courteous and prompt. The job was going to be a bit of a challenge....tight spaces due to landscaping. Bruce and his crew broke up the old patio and removed it with no negative impact on the landscaping. He had to transport in the fresh mud using his skidsteer because of the location of the patio. They finished it all in a day. It looks great and it is nicely pitched. I give him 5 stars out of 5 and will definitely be using Bruce again.

They arrived on time and the crew worked very well together. They removed the old sidewalk, cleaned up stones and brush from a previous landscape we did not like. They were all very professional and cleaned up as the went along. We are very please with the result.

We have hired several contractors to do our renovation before we moved to this new home of ours. These include concrete, asphalt, flooring, entrance door..., etc. Bruce's service from the start to finish is "excellent". I am a very picky guy when it comes to rating a service, and I have have to give him "A" all the way. Bruce, thanks for making our move to the new home a little less stressful as it normally will!!!

This total interaction did not go well. Communication was terrible and conduct was unprofessional. I chose a different contractor.

His workers were efficient and the site was completely cleaned up afterwards. We are very happy with the job he has done.

We are pleased beyond words with the service and professionalism of Bruce. Right from the initial phone call to the finished patio. Prompt follow up with a visit to determine the scope of the job, estimate and setting a date of work. He exceeded our expectations. Another cement contractor had done some pretty shoddy work, Bruce offered a couple of solutions and tore everything out and replaced it with a finished patio that we were hoping for. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up the area when they were done. All they left behind was a beautiful patio for us to enjoy. Thank you Bruce and your staff for a job well done!!! If you had a rating for A+++ I would love to have given it.
