Description of Work: John Brandis is a skilled handy person in Bay View with a special talent for designing and installing tile and doing plumbing. He installed the ceramic tile on my kitchen floor and all tile on the walls of my kitchen, for example, both of which presented artistic and installation challenges. He also did a fantastic job plumbing a new sink, garbage disposal, and water line to my new refrigerator. He has also installed lights, fixed towel racks, and performed other jobs around my home. Although communicating with him sometimes presents challenges, that is more than offset by his knowledge, skill, and honesty.

water heater repair
 + -1 moreI asked for the water heater to be repaired. The next thing we get is a bill that the unit has been replaced without authorization for $650. $650 for a 40 gallon water heater! After complaining they reduced it to $582.50. I'm still not sure why I paid to replace the unit that needed to be fixed. On the reduced bill he charged $60 for the delivery of less than 5 miles and $20 for solder and other supplies. What handy man doesn't have solder?
