Best Carpet agreed to refund our deposit and send their own person to remove the floor. The person came but said he could not remove it as it was glued to the subfloor. We then told them we would hire someone on our own to remove the floor and they would reimburse us for the cost of the removal. They verbally agreed to that. Once we had the floor removed and a new floor installed (5 months later) we were waiting for our reimbursement check for about a month. Best Carpet said that Herrigan (the distributer of the wood) was responsible for reimbursing us and they were waiting for their approval, that we were no longer Best Carpet's customer. We had been very patient through the whole process but felt abandoned in the end. We were their customer as long as they had our money. Once problems occurred, they did not want to deal with us. I would not recommend this company. Also gluing the floor to the subfloor was a very bad decision.

We heard about this place from a friend, Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered to let us take a sample home, when what we wanted, didn't have a sample, they ordered one for us. My friend had also told me that if they did not have the type of carpet you wanted in the store, they could order it and it would still be cheaper. Dave came out to measure our room- he was prompt and gave us a quote the same day. It took 2 weeks to order the carpet. One guy came to install it. He was prompt, polite. What I didn't know was that although they were removing the old carpet, they were not actually disposing of it and so we had to, but fortunately it was garbage day and they took it. He did cut it into the appropriate size and help my husband haul it to the curb. He was quick, less than 3 hrs. He did leave the carpet fuzz on the floor afterward that I had to vacuum, but otherwise neat. The total cost was 2/3 the price of what other carpet dealers quoted.

They were excellent at the store. The sales woman knew just what I needed and worked within my budget. She did not try to sell me more than I needed. They were accommodating about the install and getting an appointment was easy. I saved money on the install waiting until after the holidays. I had a few pieces of furniture to move and was charged for that. The installer had not been warned but was able to accomplish the job and said he would be paid appropriately. He arrived early the morning of the date requested. The job was done beautifully with very little waste. He left the larger pieces and cleaned up after himself.

OUR SALESPERSON WAS VERY CORDIAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WAS GIVEN SAMPLES AND WHEN HE CAME TO MEASURE HELPED ME MAKE THE FINAL SELECTION. THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND WORKED QUICKLY & CAREFULLY. THEY ALSO HAULED THE CARPETS & PADDING TO THE CURB FOR PICKUP.

Work was of excellent quality; work was scheduled and performed as promised. There was one small section that the laminate installers damaged when moving a sofa; they came back and removed several sections of floor in order to get to the one damaged boards, then replaced the bad board and put it all back again!

EXCELLENT PERSONAL SERVICE WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THE CARPET WAS LAID AND THERE WERE NO MISTAKES. COMPANY IS GREAT WITH FOLLOW THROUGH.

Very pleased with the work and the salesperson. I did not want to spend a lot of money & David was able to get me a remnant piece for a very reasonable price. Installation person was on time and friendly. I had bid that was about $200-$300 higher. My sister & in-laws have had carpet from them & all have been very pleased.

AT THE STORE DAVE LET ME TAKE HOME MANY SAMPLES TO LOOK AT AND I EVEN RETURNED SOME AND BROUGHT MORE HOME. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY METICULOUS AND DID A REALLY GREAT JOB OF PLACING THE FLOORING. I HAD A PIECE OF VINYL LEFT OVER FROM ANOTHER JOB I HAD DONE AND WANTED TO PLACE THAT PIECE IN THE BACK HALL. THE INSTALLER LOOKED AT IT AND SAID IT WAS TOO DAMAGED AND WOULD LOOK BAD AND OFFERED ME A FREE PIECE HE HAD LEFT OVER FROM A PREVIOUS JOB. IT ACTUALLY WAS A MORE EXPENSIVE AND BETTER PIECE AND HONESTLY I LIKED IT BETTER THAN WHAT I WOULD HAVE ORIGINALLY USED.

PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE COMPARED TO OTHER ESTIMATES. INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND CARPET LOOKS GREAT. IT TOOK ABOUT TWO WEEKS LONGER FOR OUR INSTALLATION DATE THAN THE SALESMAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. NOT A MAJOR PROBLEM.

THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME AND VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WORKED QUICKLY AND QUIETLY. HOWEVER, HE DID NOT CLEAN UP AT ALL - DIDN'T EVEN PICK UP THE REMNANTS OR LITTLE CARPET FUZZIES THAT WERE LEFT ALL OVER OUR HOME. HE HAD TO MOVE OUR LIVING ROOM FURNITURE TO MAKE ROOM TO CUT THE CARPET BUT DID NOT MOVE IT BACK. DESPITE THIS PROBLEM, WE WOULD HIRE BEST CARPETING AGAIN.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE USED THEIR SERVICES. THE PRICES ARE ALWAYS LOWER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE I HAVE CHECKED, AND THE JOB IS ALWAYS DONE VERY WELL. WILL USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

THE CARPET FOR ONE OF THE BEDROOMS DID NOT COME IN ON TIME, SO IT HAD TO BE INSTALLED A WEEK LATER. THERE WAS A DELAY OF A FEW HOURS BY THE INSTALLERS WHEN IT FINALLY WAS PUT IN. (THEY DIDN'T COME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO) I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT WHEN THEY WERE COMING, AND EVEN THEN THEY WERE AN HOUR LATE. THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD HOWEVER. THE SERVICEMAN DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN TAKING OUR ORDER, MEASURING, WORKING WITH OUR SCHEDULE TO INSTALL, ETC. WE WERE ALSO HAPPY WITH THE INSTALLATION QUALITY ALTHOUGH THERE WERE THE DELAY PROBLEMS.

I HAVE USED BEST CARPETS BEFORE AND WAS HAPPY, HOWEVER, THIS TIME A LARGE PIECE OF CARPETING HAD TO BE SECTIONED IN MY FAMILY ROOM. THE SEAM SHOULD HAVE BEEN LAID THE OTHER WAY BECAUSE I NOW HAVE A HUGE RIDGE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY ROOM. SAM CAME OUT AND STEAMED THE SEAM ONCE AND SAID THAT IT WOULD EVENTUALLY FLATTEN OUT. THIS WAS A YEAR AGO, AND I HAVE CALLED HIM A COUPLE OF OTHER TIMES TO TRY AND RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH NO RESPONSE. SOMETIMES YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. AFTER THE INSTALLATION, SERVICE IS SOMETIMES WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY.

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING, BEST CARPET WAS ABLE TO SQUEEZE US INTO THEIR SCHEDULE AND GET THE JOB DONE BEFORE THE WEDDING WORKERS CALLED TO SAY THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY. THEY WERE ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND DID A GOOD JOB.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE. I HAD NEVER HEARD OF BEST CARPET. I FOUND THE COMPANY ON YOUR WEB SITE. SAM WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDED ME WITH EXCELLENT ADVICE ON A COLOR SCHEME. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY.

AT THE STORE, SAM WAS VERY HELPFUL. BY FAR, THEY HAD THE BEST PRICES. I CHECKED OUT 4 OTHER CARPET STORES AND THEY WEREN'T EVEN CLOSE. THE INSTALLATION WAS GOOD AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THEM AGAIN, NOR WOULD I HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, THEY'RE PUNCTUAL IF NOT EARLY. GREAT WORK WITH FAIR PRICING.

WHEN I TALKED TO SAM, HE AGREED TO COME OUT EARLY THE NEXT WEEK TO MEASURE. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE CARPET. HE HAD EVEN LOOKED UP THE PATTERN (BRAND NEW) BEFORE STOPPING BY. HE INFORMED ME THAT THERE WOULD BE A PRICE INCREASE THAT FRIDAY (I HAD HEARD THIS FROM OTHER DEALERS). IF I CALLED BY THAT DAY, HE COULD PUT IN THE ORDER WITH THE PRICE QUOTED. I DID CALL AND HE PUT IN THE ORDER AND INFORMED ME THAT THERE WOULD BE A 3 WEEK WAIT. THIS WAS FINE WITH ME AS WE WERE DOING SOME REMODELING. THE ONLY GLITCH WAS THAT THE INSTALLER CAME AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER THE APPOINTED TIME. APPARENTLY HE WAS WAITING FOR THE CARPET TO ME TRANSPORTED FROM CHICAGO THAT AM. HE WAS UPSET THAT NO ONE HAD CALLED ME. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. HE HAD TO SEAM A BUSY PATTERN. YOU CANNOT SEE THE SEAM!

UNDERBID ANOTHER COMPANY BY $100, THE FLOORING WAS DONE WELL, BUT THEY TOOK A LONG TIME TO COME BACK OUT TO FIX A PROBLEM.

UNFORTUNATELY, THE CARPETING WE LIKED BEST WE ONLY SAW AT A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE. SO, WE TOOK THE SAMPLE TO BEST CARPET AND THEY WERE ABLE TO GET THE IDENTICAL CARPETING (SAME MANUFACTURER, COLOR, AND QUALITY) AND CHARGED US 1/3 LESS (FOR REMOVAL OF OLD CARPETING AND PAD, AND INSTALLATION OF NEW PAD AND CARPETING) THAN THE HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE WAS ASKING! YOU WILL NEVER SEE AN AD FOR BEST CARPET. THEY RELY SOLELY ON REPEAT CUSTOMERS AND REFERRALS FROM CURRENT CUSTOMERS.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB OVERALL, HOWEVER IT TOOK LONGER THAN FIRST STATED TO HAVE THE CARPET DELIVERED. WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THE FACT THAT THE LATE DELIVERY WAS CAUSING INCONVENIENCES THEY QUICKLY OFFERED OTHER OPTIONS THAT WORKED WITH OUR SCHEDULES.

THE INSTALLER WAS VERY SLOPPY. THE CARPET WAS INSTALLED VERY WELL, BUT THE CLEAN UP WAS NOT GOOD. IT WAS LIKE HE WANTED TO INSTALL IT AND GET OUT OF THERE. AFTER DOING SUCH A NICE INSTALLATION, HE SHOULD'VE DONE A BETTER JOB CLEANING UP.

DID A GREAT JOB IN HELPING TO PICK OUT THE CARPET. HAD ISSUE WITH THE INSTALL. WASN''T TOTALLY HAPPY, ORIGINAL INSTALLER WOULDN''T COME BACK OUT SAID IT WAS OK. SENT ANOTHER INSTALLER OUT AND MADE IT RIGHT. THEY STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. OVERALL VERY HAPPY WITH EXPERIENCE.
