 + -1 moreBill seemed competent enough, but he charged $240 to putty nail holes and paint a ceiling that needs to be repeated again. All in all the worst experience with a business I have ever had.
Description of Work: BB Remodeling came out and gave me an estimate for a whole house remodel, drywall, interior paint, doors, and porch stairs. We set up a time for them to come out and get started. I wrote them a check for $1000 and they started working. I left the job site for the day. I received a call from him that afternoon that the bank was not honoring the check. By the time I got the message the bank was closed. I called him and told Bill I didn't understand what the bank error was but I would get back to him on it, I transferred $8100 from my savings that day. Apparently the transfer is not instantaneous even if its accounts in the same bank. I tried to call Bill several times that night, but he would not return my calls. Bill cashed the check at 9am the following day. He called me at 9:30am and said he would not finish the job because my check was no good, after he had cashed it. He would not meet with me that day to settle up. I left several messages for him with no call back yet.

 + 3 moreHIS CREW WAS EXCEPTIONAL AS WAS HE. ALWAYS PUNCTUAL AND FOLLOWED THROUGH, EXCEPTIONAL WORK,/ CLEANED UP WELL AND THEN SEEDED THE LAWN WHERE THE DUMPSTER HAD DAMAGED THE LAWN, HE IS GOING TO BE DOING SOME INSULATING WORKING AND PAINTING FOR US THIS WINTER.
Description of Work: HE REPLACED OUR ROOF ON THE HOUSE AND GARAGE AND THEN TUCKPOINTED A FLOWER BED, AND DID CONCRETE WORK ON THE PORCH.
