Bay View Medical Clinic

My husband and I have had numerous experiences at Bay View Medical Clinic. I kept going to it because I liked my doctor (Dr. Claudia Koch) and it is in walking distance of our home. But finally it became too much frustration and we were not getting the medical attention we needed. First of all, the reception staff is rude and uncooperative from the moment you call to make an appointment. After awhile the dr was NEVER available to see me and the only person I saw for 2 years was a nurse practitioner. Staff thought that was just fine. I did not. Second, I arrived for one appointment on time and they WOULD NOT LET ME IN TO SEE THE DR. They said I should have arrived 15 minutes early and because I did not, I was late for my appointment and would have to reschedule!!!!!!!!!! NO KIDDING! Third, I had fallen down and, I thought, broken my elbow so went to them the next day for an x-ray. They did it and said they couldn't tell if it was broken and I needed to go to the emergency room. Huh? Let's see.....cost of office visit vs emergency room cost??? So, basically, they can do x-rays but they can't read them? (Yes, my elbow was broken.) Needless to say, we have not been back. And, please, Dr. Koch, leave Bay View Medical and take your practice elsewhere!
