Gregg is fantastic! My husband and I needed someone to fix a faulty wallpapering job done to our powder room. We came across Gregg's name when researching the most experienced professionals to hang wallpaper. From the moment we met Gregg he was punctual, professional, and meticulous in his work. We knew he would be the best person for the job. Despite being booked out several months (as is everyone right now), we were happy to wait for him. Gregg finished our powder room in two days (including taking down previous wallpaper, priming the walls and hanging new paper). We could not be happier with his work, truly top-notch. We have received so many compliments on our bathroom, and it even inspired us to also have Gregg wallpaper our dining room next year! I would 100% recommend Gregg to anyone looking for a highly skilled artisan with decades of experience.

We've worked with Gregg for years and could not be happier with the painting/wall repair and wallpapering he's done for us. Gregg is very meticulous and does excellent work. Gregg is personable, prompt, and professional. I meant to post a review earlier, but time got away from me over the holidays! He is a perfectionist. He did wallpaper, paint, and some detail work (caulking) in a bathroom where we are doing a makeover/renovation. I had a hard time finding anyone to do wallpaper. Everyone who has seen his work in the room loves it! The wallpaper makes the room! And the work is meticulous. I was lucky I stumbled upon a recommendation for Gregg! He's truly an artisan. The work is lovely. As part of the project, Gregg also took care of some annoying wallpaper repair issues I was tired of looking at, in another room, but not yet ready to re-do (other projects are more pressing, just now). We will be calling him back as we get further into our projects.

Excellent. I had the living room, dining room and halls repaired and painted. Gregg does impeccable work. All repairs done on all the walls in the rooms prior to painting, in addition to the painting. I added window frames and baseboards to the project and I am thrilled with the results. Absolutely no mishaps. Gregg keeps all areas clean and his clean up at the end of the day is exceptional. I had just had floors sanded, stained and finished and not a single drop of paint where it did not belong. Gregg keeps excellent records and keeps the client advised of all steps each day. He also notices other repairs that should be done and proceeds. For example, he noticed that caulk was needed around my fireplace and took care of this also. The work is absolutely beautiful. I had an issue with baseboards needing a precision cut as Home Depot would not do it, and Gregg took it on and I did not have to hire a carpenter for a simple job. On a side note, I never felt his presence working. He is quiet and unobtrusive. I could just go about my business every day, inside or outside of my home and barely knew he was in the house for 2 weeks. This is a plus for sure. I would highly recommend Artisan for any painting project . He also does as requested with no "hard sell" to add work. He is client focused, while maintaining highly professional standards. If you are as fussy as I am about cleanliness, tidiness and perfection, hire Artisan!!!!

My husband is detail-oriented and super picky about the way we keep up our house, and he is delighted with everything Artisan Wall Covering has done. Gregg is meticulous and does an amazing job... and he's also an exceptionally pleasant person to work with. Everything he has done in our house is done exactly the way you'd want it, and if you look at our walls, you'd never guess my home is nearly 100 years old. It's flawless. Gregg is a considerate, hard-working, skilled craftsman. He arrived daily at 8:30 AM. He would inform us if his schedule changed. Gregg warned us when the work was going to be messy. He sealed off the rooms, he cleaned up every evening. We had a large job that included wallpaper removal, plastering,detailed painting, and wallpaper hanging. Everything was done to perfection. I have high expectations and Gregg surpassed them.

Gregg, the owner and sole operator, made an initial visit to my home in order to assess the scope of the project. Together we did a thorough "walk through" of both rooms as he took notes and he then provided me with extremely detailed explanations of everything, from the type of primer and paint that would be used and the number of coats needed, to the amount of time the job would take. He also answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. He even helped me make a decision regarding a ceiling color which was very much appreciated. The project took two weeks and every day Gregg came promptly at 8:30 and stayed until 5 or 5:30. He was unfailingly accommodating, pleasant, and courteous. When I arrived home from work he told me exactly what he had accomplished that day and what he planned to do the next. He always did a thorough cleanup and stored his materials neatly in a corner of the laundry room. After he left for the day I did my own walk through of the areas that were completed and was delighted with how beautiful everything looked. He finished the project right on time and insisted that I do a final inspection before he left (although it really wasn't necessary). Gregg is indeed a true artisan who takes great pride in his work and it shows down to the last careful stroke. I was amazed at his meticulousness and attention to detail and couldn't have been happier with his degree of perfectionism. Thank you, Gregg!

Since Gregg had done work for me on several different occasions I was confident that this job would be approached with the same pursuit of excellence and attention to detail as shown previously, and indeed it was. I have exacting standards and high expectations, and Gregg makes every effort to satisfy, however small the concerns may be. He is a master painter, and he demonstrated that once again. Everything looks beautiful! The space is transformed. Gregg helped us choose colors, and made perfect repairs in damaged plaster. He is meticulous and neat. We have an older home so he smoothed out many surface cracks. He was efficient in doing the work and very pleasant to have around during the process.

i have used Gregg at Artisan Wall Covering for many years and many projects. He just completed a small job for me that involved painting and plastering. however, in the past he has also done wallpapering and removal for me. He does extremely good work with attention to detail. He has good color sense and suggestions. He is very flexible and accommodating. Because I have been so pleased with Gregg's work, I wait until he is available versus seeking out anyone else. And, he is just a very nice person.

I have used Gregg, owner of Artisan Wallcovering for over 10 years. He has done painting, plaster repairs, and wallpapering for me and he does excellent work. I've used Gregg of Artisan Wall Covering before and when I experienced water damage in one of my rentals, I, once again, called Gregg. He repaired water leak damages in the bathroom -- the ceiling and walls including mold removal in it's entirety, painted and wallpapered the bath to make it look like new. Then, he repaired and painted sections in the hallway damaged by the water leak. All of the work was EXCELLENT! Again, I've used Gregg before and knew his work plus trusted his judgment and appreciated his professionalism so when I had this repair need I went back to him for this third project. I knew I would be more than pleased and was! He is the best at wallpaper work - matching everything perfectly, an outstanding painter and excellent at repair that includes plaster and wallpaper. Plus, he will provide excellent suggestions regarding wallpaper choices and paint color choices. Gregg, combined with the Wallpaper Wallpaper store in the Wauwatosa area with their excellent staff and outstanding suggestions made this project stress free. I will always use Gregg for any project I have at any of my Wisconsin rentals. My only regret is I am in Los Angeles, California so it's difficult for me to use his services out here.

We found them through Angie’s List. I used them numerous times last spring and summer and we did multiple projects. The experience was fantastic. He is very pleasant to work with and very communicative. We loved having him around the house while he was working. The quality of the craftsmanship was fantastic. My wife is very demanding about paint jobs, so he did a fantastic job. We are absolutely very pleased. We are very happy with the price and the value. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants a quality job at a very reasonable price. They did very fine work. We will be using their schedule as there is something more to work.

Gregg did an excellent job removing existing wallpaper, repairing plaster, wallpapering and painting a kitchen and pantry for me. It was a big job! I own expensive rental properties and this is the third kitchen and pantry project Gregg has worked on for me. Not only does he do great work but before beginning the project, provides and excellent detailed proposal for all the work to be performed so you have an accurate record of what he will do and what the labor cost will be for him to do the work. He is meticulous about everything in the entire process including leaving the area spotless at the end. His conscientiousness is a rare quality to find among the population that does this work. Unlike some others, you have no worries with Gregg. There is always open communication and he is quite personable ... a really nice guy!!! I will most certainly use Gregg's service again.
