 + 0 moreThey were very good, very reliable and I like them very much. They were clean. They did good work. They were quick and orderly in the way they did it. We were very happy with them. I spent $200 on that work.
Description of Work: I used Armstrong Home Improvements 6 months ago to put in a sink.

 + 2 moreThe quality of the work was astonishing. The floors, trim, and door completely transformed the house. John is an absolute joy to work with; he is honest, personable, timely, bright, and extremely helpful in resolving questions about what to do and how to do it. We enjoyed having him in our home and will hire him for any and all future projects.
Description of Work: Installation of hickory wood floors (replacing carpet) in an area of approximately 400 square feet. Remove and replace (after stain matching) all trim (baseboard and shoe/quarter round) and install new double sliding door with screen at our lake house in Green Lake, Wisconsin. (John has also since performed work in the Milwaukee area for several of my children and friends on my Recommendation/referral).

 + 1 moreJohn arrived as scheduled, planned the project to make the best use of time (taking a piece of the moulding with him to the vendor before beginning the work) and trimmed back bushes that prevented him from reaching one area with his ladder. He continued with another area where the wood was so rotten, he had to create his own templates. John's attitude was always pleasant, even when it was hot and the job sent him up and down the ladder innumerable times. The job site was cleaned up every day. John communicated regularly and was easy to work with.
Description of Work: Squirrels had chewed into weakened area of fancy-shaped wood trim on my older home. John removed the rotted wood, all traces of the squirrel home (residents had been removed, previously!) and replaced and painted the area.
