Patio prep work = good. Car starter installation = good. Snow blower maintenance = good. Kitchen tear out and major prep work = very good. Drywall and priming = good. Leveling kitchen soffits = poor. He tried to explain how my house had settles 1/2" within the past few days of work. Cabinet installation = iffy. Watch him like a hawk or you will have re-work to do. Doesn't always pay attention to detail. Tile countertop = horrible. We will redo this with a tile professional when we can afford the expense and disruption to our lives. Stair hand railing installation = good. I cut all the 2x4's and 4x4's to size, installed the 4x4 support posts to the porch and helped him in nailing the 2x4's into place. Andrew did a nice job of finishing the second set of hand railing by himself and in helping me with the first hand railing installation. Soffit vents = what was he thinking and where the his brains while doing this? Quit on us without warning and left job unfinished.
Description of Work: Helped in preparing yard for future patio. Installed starter in car. Got snow blower running just before a major snow storm. Tear out and removal of rotted kitchen cabinets, interior wood flooring, exterior wall and framing, plumbing and electrical from a hidden water leak that he discovered while looking over our kitchen. A+ effort on this. Reframed exterior wall, insulated, installed vapor barrier, installed drywall and primed walls (2 coats). Removed paneling from one wall and cleaned up area for painting. Installed one wall of cabinets and tile countertop. Installed pneumatic waste disposal and switch. Cut holes in exterior soffit for new soffit vents and helped build 2 sets of stair railings.
