He was pleasant on the phone and scheduled the visit within a couple days. He called me during the scheduled time and met me at my house. Very nice, prompt, knowledgeable, and knew what was wrong right away. He let me know what needed to be replaced and some tips to keep the dryer from having issues. In this case, the part was on back order. I was able to order the part online myself and will be able to replace it myself when it arrives. He also gave me some advice on another repair I needed.

Michael is the owner, he came out to fix it, and he was absolutely tremendous.

Washing machine was malfunctioning. Michael came on a Saturday (!) on a holiday weekend (!!) with no extra charge (!!!) to check out the situation. Advised us to change detergents (per error message in machine). When that didn't work, he came back twice to try two alternate fixes, the second of which worked. Only charged us one (!) call fee, plus labor and parts. Extremely reasonable and fair. Would use him again whenever needed!

Our dishwasher (kenmore elite) was not taking in water; therefore, the dishes were not being wash. Phoned All City Appliance on Tuesday, September 3rd and made an appointment for Wednesday, September 4th. The repairman, Michael, was on time and very professional. He diagnosis the problem that the dishwasher motor need to replace, because all the other functions were working. We reschedule for Monday, September 8th, for the dishwasher motor to be order and replaced. Michael replaced the motor and the fill valve. I was very please that schedule appointments were always kept and on time. Michael diagnosis of the problem was what I thought was wrong witrh the dishwasher. The cost of the repair was not out of line. Michael was always professional.

Michael was great. He was very prompt, professional and friendly. He took time to explain what he was doing and showed me the part that was broken and why it couldn't be fixed. His alternative solution works just as well. I would not hesitate to call him again about a problem with any of our other appliances.

When I called Mike I had just returned from vacation and really needed to do the laundry. He came to the house within an hour. With the temporary fix I was able to do laundry as soon as he left which was about 30 minutes later. He was very efficient, prompt, and reasonably priced.

The Dryer broke on a Tuesday. I called Michael and we made an appointment for the next day. He came early (he called to let us know he would be early) and had everything cleaned and replaced in less than 40 minutes. We were very pleased and will certainly recommend him to all our friends.

Let's start by stating that of all the Super Service Award recipients in this category, Mike is a cut above them all. Several Super Service Award recipients have been criticized for poor responsiveness, in particular failure to return calls. In a service business these failures are unacceptable. Check Mike's reviews and you find NONE of that. On the first call, I had to leave a voice mail. Mike called back within the hour, and we set up the appointment. Based on my description of the problem, he quoted his minimum charge of $55; but that the total bill would not exceed $155. Then, a day later, while trying to call someone else, I dialed Mike's number by mistake. I hung up without leaving a message. This time he called back within 1/2 hour. He quoted an arrival window between 9 and 11AM, with a call when he was on the way. His call came at 10:40 and he was on the job by 10:45. He could have simply changed some parts, but in his opinion, the original parts were better than new parts, and all that was needed was a spark gap adjustment, which he did. While verifying correct operation of the broiler, he noticed that gas flames were not coming out of a number of ports on the broiler unit. He removed the burner and cleaned it. This did not fix the problem. Then he adjusted the air supply, and presto! the broiler works as it should. Total charge was $55 (plus tax of course)

Michael installed a maintenance kit to fix the drum movement. He also cleaned the vent pipe. Excellent work.

Fit us in same day. Was on time and early. Worked with us on parts order and install the next day.

Michael was very responsive from the start, and worked with my schedule. He also provided updates to me when he was going to be delayed by about 30 minutes. He worked quickly and efficiently, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in under an hour. The price of the service was completely reasonable. He cleaned up after himself and then provided some advice about my dryer vent, free of charge. Excellent experience, and I would not hesitate to hire him again if appliance repairs are needed.

Great. Put down tracks to pull refrigerator out w/o damaging floor. Thawed ice that had built up. Enlarged drain so it wouldn't happen again.

This is the second instance I've used this company. This time I called because my dishwasher wasn't draining properly. I set up an appointment for the next day and he arrived on time. Within about 30 seconds he diagnosed the problem which was food stuck in the check valve on the sink. Because the fix was so simple he said he'd only charge me $10. That is no typo. $10. I can't say enough about that type of old fashioned service where you are not left feeling like an idiot for spending $100 on a service call only to find out it's a simple fix. Just finding this gem of an individual pays for my angie's list subscription. Highly recommended!

We put in a call to see if we could get service in the next couple of days but instead within 2 hours he was here and solved the problem. We would definitely call him again and we are sharing his name with friends and co-workers

I found this company through Angie's list, but even the reviews on Google were positive. I was impressed from start to finish. I gave him the model number of the washing machine before he came, and told him what I had replaced, in hopes that the easy fix would do the trick. He told me that I made the right decision when I tried to fix the lock on the machine, before calling for service. He came with the correct part, and got the washer working in under an hour. He was on time, professional, and the price was fair. He also gave me some advice on what to do as my washer gets up in years. I would certainly call All City Appliance again, should anything else break.

I called, he agreed to come out promptly. He was on time. The gentleman was very nice and very professional. The dryer, upon his arrival, was working again. I suggested that he look it over and clean the dryer vent hose, which he did. He also changed a valve. He gave me really good suggestions for a new washer and dryer, when that time comes. He was very pleasant to deal with. I thought that the value and his professionalism were both excellent.

Michael was available on short notice and fit my schedule. He call prior to arriving and hit his window. Did his troubleshooting explained what the problem was. He had the repair part in his van so the repair could be completed during the service visit. he offered to clean out the vent stack and he cleaned the portions of the lint trap that you can not get to with a brush or vacuum. reconnected every thing wiped it all down and re-leveled the appliance. He noticed the washer was not quite the same height and slightly out of level and corrected that too. A pleasant young man with a good disposition. I recommend All City to everyone with out hesitation. Also he is one of the few people that will service Bosch and Siemens appliances.

If you need service work done on your appliances call this company. They are fabulous! The owner was in the Navy and worked on a nuclear submarine so he certainly knows electronics. But the best part is how well run is small business is and how easy and professional they are to work with when you need help. The best part is the owner is EXTREMELY thoughtful. My Ternate?s child broke my unit?s brand new high end GE oven by standing on the door. Michael could have just replaced the broken hinges which would be all I expected and that would be great. However Michal asked me if I wanted to clean the glass on the oven door where food had dribbled down inside the door. Of course I did, so he went about and beyond what I expected to take the door apart so I could clean it. And with the new hinges the stove looks brand new again. He also took a few extra moments to show me how to do something to get to other parts to clean in the future if needed. If you need service, this is the company to call. I know I will again too if I need their help.

I called them and they said they would be out today between 11-1. He called me around 10:30 and asked if he could come around.

Mike answered the phone right away and spoke very professionally. He was ready to come out to look at my refrigerator same day or next day, but when I told him what the problem is (no water from the door dispenser, but we can get ice), he immediately said he could save me the money his visit would cost because I could fix it myself. He took the time to talk me through how to test the problem by walking me through how to remove the plastic grill under the fridge doors, find the tube for the water, pull out one side, and test it by pushing the water button to see if water comes out. (It did by the way. Glad he told me to put down a towel first.) Basically, the water tube running through the inside of the freezer door has frozen and needs to be thawed for a couple of days. While thawing the freezer will be annoying for us and who knows when we'll get around to it, Mike was really nice and I appreciated him explaining what was wrong with my fridge and what to do over the phone without charging me. We've used All City Applicance before when our dryer shorted out and he was great then, too. I don't feel like I'll ever need to call anyone else for help with applicances.

Michael was super-fast in arriving (same day - same afternoon in fact) and did a great job returning our refrigerator to working order. He had the part on his truck. Fixing the door (which was mounted incorrectly per a mover) was a bonus. Thank you - Great Job!

Michael took apart the ice maker and explained what he was doing and why. He solved the problem within 5 minutes. He also told me a little about his background and experienced. There is no question that I will call Michael again should I have any problems with our washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher or microwave. I can recommend him without reservation--and have done so to family and friends.
