All City was able to come the same day I called them. They arrived when they had estimated and did the work in a very timely fashion. Michael (owner/technician) was very professional and pleasant. The total charge was about one fourth of what a larger company would have charged for the same work.

Mike was very professional. He tested to see where the leak was coming from on 1/10/11 and determined it was the valve. Had to order the valve, and came back on 1/12/11 to replace the valve. After the valve was replaced, he still noticed the smell of gass - took apart almost the entire stove to see where it was coming from, only to determine it was merely the remains of the gas smell from before the valve replacement. He was very pleasant and professional, and determined to fix the problem. I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

All City did service on something most folks do not do around here. They came quickly and they were accomodating to my schedule. He showed up on time, did a good job, and offered good suggestions.

Michael was very prompt and courteous. He introduced himself to us and told us a little about his background so we felt very comfortable that he was completely qualified to work on our appliance. We recently purchased our home and the washing machine and dryer came with it so we have no information regarding the history of the machines. The are both quite old so I was a little concerned that parts may be hard to come by. However, Michael was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He listened carefully to our description of what had happened and coupled with his inspection, was able to fix several problems at once. And although the specific parts are no longer manufactured, he was able to find an alternate solution and repair our machine within the hour.

I called Mike from Angies list because other repair places could not come out for a week or two and wanted a minimum charge to just to come out. He said he could be there in 45 minutes and was. He looked at my washer and was able to fix the problem in about 3 minutes. (There was a dryer sheet caught in the motor). He charged me a bare minimum fee and then I had him look at my refrigerator. He ordered the glass shelf i needed and dropped it off 2 days later. He was courteous and professional. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again!

I called late morning and Michael (the owner) was able to come out that day, arriving exactly when he'd said he would when he called ahead. He detailed his credentials and experience and then explained everything as he went along -- very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. I also appreciated the senior discount and that he accepts credit cards. I'm adding him to my contact list and bookmarking his website as my first call for any appliance repair.

Needed new handle for Maytag stove, Michael got part number when I called for service. He had the handle upon arrival. Took door off, worked quickly and efficiently also removing inner glass so I could clean the inside of door, thanks! Great professional job. Will definitely use again.

Michael is prompt, friendly, and he explained exactly what he was doing - in a manner that I could understand it. From my initial call, he was able to visit the next day. Once he determined a part needed to be ordered, he made arrangements to return the very next day to install the part. I felt his invoice was reasonable, considering he made two visits to my home, and a trip to the parts store in between. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Great. The big box service company could not come for almost a week. So, I called All City. Mike arrived in the time window he estimated the very next day! Got my freezer working again with very reasonable rates. Mush lower than the big box service would have been. I will call on All City again if needed.

I had no idea what was wrong when my dishwasher abruptly stopped working. Michael came the next day, quickly found the problem and replaced a failed fuse. He explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. Customer service is important to me and Michael was courteous, prompt and efficient. He called to say exactly when he would arrive. Cost was what I expected and significantly less than what the manufacturer's service wanted. He also guarantees his work for 1 year. I would use him again and definitely recommend him to others.

My gas oven just stopped working one day. I checked online to see if it was something I could fix myself, but there were several possible things that could go wrong with an electronic ignitor, and I didn't want to attempt it. A friend recommended All City Appliance highly, after having a refrigerator repair. He said that Michael did good work for a reasonable price, and he was able to fix a variety of home appliances. I called to make an appointment. Michael returned my call promptly and was professional and pleasant. He gave me a two-hour window for when he would arrive, saying he would call when he was on his way. The appointment was between 8:00 and 10:00, and Michael called at 8:40 to say he would arrive at 9:00. He was exactly on time and he offered to remove his shoes before coming in because it was raining. He gave me a brief history of his work experience in appliacne repair and then got right to work. He diagnosed the problem and was able to replace the ignitor immediately because he's gotten the information on the make and model of the oven during our phone call making the appointment. He didn't mind that I wanted to watch what he was doing and explained every step for my benefit. He finished the job in about 25 minutes, picking up after himself, replacing everything as it had been and checking to make sure the replacement part worked. His work carries a 1-year guarantee. I was very pleased with the whole experience and I will definitely use All City Appliance for any future appliance repairs. I will also recommend Michael Grimshaw to friends.

On time, had to order replacement shaft for bad pulley which took an extra day.

First off, Michael was able to repair a model of washer (Kenmore Calypso) that other service companies wouldn't touch. In addition, he was very prompt and professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was up-front about everything he did, and clearly explained the issue and solution I recommend him highly.
