Quoted with 7 different contractors. Action was not the lowest or highest bid. Marci quoted a LuxAire furnace/AC 95% efficient.Crew arrived around 9 am on 11.4.2011 and immediately got started. First was the removal of our "beast" and oil tanks. Unfortunately, they encountered a problem first off. Our existing old furnace was cemented into the basement floor. Original floor was fieldstone and previous owner cemented over it with furnace in place. So Marci jack hammered the beast out. After that the install went well. Due to the issue, this install became a 2 day project. The crew returned on the following Monday to complete the job.and they did not leave us without heat over the weekend. Marci did a great job in quoting. Before we decided who to hire, she answered all of our questions quickly. And she was present during the install, leaving only when she had other appointments. But she was in contact with us through the whole process. All the individuals involved in the installation were professional, friendly, and very competent. They asked questions when in doubt and offered advise when needed. They kept us in the loop through the entire installation. They cleaned up after and left everything in better shape than before they arrived. I can't say enough about Action Heating and especially Marci. The level of professionalism was awesome. The furnace is working great and the house (122 old farmhouse) is warmer. Marci left us feeling confident and assured that Action Heating will be there for us no matter what and believe me that is a good feeling.

They were referred to me by a friend and they did okay. The work is good and I had no complaints. The price was a little high. It is not too high but on the higher side.

. The job went off very well. The furnace is really old. It was some else?s furnace. There were couple of frayed wires which was causing the furnace to shut off. He took care of that and he replaced the frayed belt. He was really honest about it. It was like putting your car in for getting its brake fixed and getting the front end done, it was like one of those deals. He charged me only $90 when it could have been over $400. He was really cool about it. He was impressed that the oil furnace had been re-built in 1999. It was a totally furnace rebuilt from 1955. He was like working on an old car. I would use this company in the future.

Terrible. I will never use Action Heating and Cooling again nor will I recommend them to other people. They attempted to fix and air conditioning leal in our Bryant central air conditioning unit. They came back several times but were unable to find the leak or fix the problem permanently.

I asked if I needed a new thermostat. They said no because it would do the exact same thing my current thermostat does. I appreciated their honesty.

They did a good job and I did not have any complaints. The quality of the work they did was very good. They were very responsive and were here on time. They never made me wait.

On a Saturday evening, my husband & I smelled what we thought was gas. Our gas company came, and it was determined that carbon monoxide was leaking from the furnace because of a bad secondary heat exchanger. He shut it off and tagged it and we called Action Heating. The service guy called us almost immediately (thanks Cory) and we made arrangements for him to come over on Sunday. After a few minutes, he determined that although we could probably fix the various parts that were bad, it was probably a good time to look at replacing the 19 yr. old furnace. Cory called Joe Petkus and he said we could probably have a new one installed on Monday. We met Joe at their office Mon. morning, picked out an appropriate furnace for our house, decided to add the air cleaner & humidifier. Joe was very helpful, even steering us away from a higher BTU furnace so we would be more energy efficient. The install guys came at noon Monday, finished at 6pm and showed me how to work the thermostat etc. While it took another 6 hrs. for the house to go from 46 degrees to comfortable again, it was worth everything. This furnace really does the job right - and so did Action Heating!

We called and received an appt the same day! The technician called approximately 30 minutes in advance of arrival as promised. He was very friendly and polite, as well as knowledgeable. Within a short time he presented me with the diagnosis and quote to replace the part necessary to fix the problem. The price was very reasonable so I agreed to the repair. The technician had the part with him and was able to make the necessary repair during that visit! When the furnace was fixed, the technician presented the bill, explained what he had done and what other part could possibly need replacing at some time down the road. It was such a relief to have the repair made before the cold weather came to stay for the season, at such a reasonable price, by such a reputable company and employee. After the technician left, I called the office to praise the way the work had gone so smoothly. Thanks, ACTION HEATING & COOLING!

They did a very good, got everything done quickly, and cleaned everything up. It was a pleasant experience and I'd recommend them to others!

Performed standard clean & check of furnace. The service technician said that the heat exchanger and other parts looked good. Took approximately 45 minutes for the service.

The worker who did the checks appeared to be quite thorough. He did not race through the job, nor did he spend unnecessary time. He was pleasant and appeared to do a good job.

I GAVE AN A IN EACH CATEGORY BECAUSE THE WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY, CLEANLY, AND THE SERVICEMAN CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. I CAN''T COMPARE THE FEE, BUT HE WAS HERE FOR AT LEAST 45 MINUTES. EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE IN SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT AND BEING THERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE.
