Also gave helpful advice regarding the foundation, floorboards, etc. Was very informative, and in no way tried to worry us into having unnecessary work done, which I greatly appreciate. His advice was extremely useful.

Braces installed building inspector came and gave them an OK. Employees left a mess on the floor from the motor mix they used to tuck point the walls. Took me several hours of cleaning to get the floor decent but will still need a new paint job to make it right. Employees put down plastic so I do not know how they made such a mess. The person that ran the chisel did more than necessary chiseling areas that did not have any cracks. Went down to see what they were doing employees started talking in Spanish and began yelling and hollering. When employees left the person describing himself as crew chief said if I had any complaints just call the owner. I did not call the owner as I was glad to have them out of my house. Salesman was nice and informative with as far as needing work done. Seemed to be an honest guy. Some of the crew members are questionable individuals. As far as pricing goes my daughter has been looking at houses to buy and one of them had the basement repaired. That house had basement floor cut out drain tiles repaired posts installed concrete floor replaced were it was cut out part of one wall dug out drain tiles replaced and back filled all for the same price I paid for posts. Contract was on display at open house.

I purchased an older home July 2015 in Thiensville, WI. Apparently, Thiensville is notorious for basement issues!! Whilst I was aware that there were basement issues which needed addressing, upon Accurate coming out to give me an estimate, Paul Vaccaro suggested, that one finished basement wall be opened up to see what issues might be hiding behind drywall. And I'm glad that I listened to his expertise and advice. My home had severe damage, mold, water seepage and cinder block damage, where the bottom course had all but deteriorated. As a widow with a handicapped child, you can probably imagine I was beside myself with the news of this further expense. Paul held my hand (figuratively) and walked me through the repairs and allayed any fears of the house falling down around my ears!! Prior to having Accurate come in and give me an estimate, I had 2 other companies also quote. Only 1 of these companies, brought up "maybe we should look at what's behind the drywall". Price wise Accurate were competitive to other companies, however, the concern and care shown not only by Paul but the entire Accurate staff clinched the deal for me. Because of various ongoing issues, (nothing to do with Accurate) repairs weren't able to commence until early Nov. When that happened, it happened quickly. The crew were on site for 4 to 5 days, extremely professional and courteous and answered all my questions whilst I was breathing down their necks observing. It was also recommended that the sump pump be upgraded, which I did, and now I understand why there was water in my basement. One would think, that once the job is done and the money is paid, you never hear from the contractor again!! Not so with Accurate. Paul Vaccaro has called on at least 3 occasions that I can recall, asking me if I'm happy, are there any issues with the basement and following up. The best thing I ever did after this whole house purchase disaster is go with Accurate. I could not be happier with the work done and I can rest safe in the knowledge that my son will have a home to live in which is not going to fail any time soon. Had I not gone with Accurate, I have no doubt that I would be looking at more costly repairs further down the road. I wholeheartedly recommend Accurate as reliable, honest and caring .... you get what you pay for and I believe I got the best!!

They did a good job of explaining all of our options. The choice and pricing they provided was similar to another provider.

I recently gutted my basement and wanted an expert opinion on a few things that concerned me as there was some moisture in the basement behind the drywall. David came out and thoroughly inspected and shared that i did not need any repairs and that i was in good shape. I'm sure other companies could have "found" something to charge for but I was happy to listen to his advice and guidance on future basement finishing.

This is my second experience with Accurate Basement. The first one was excellent, and this most recent encounter did not disappoint. Paul responded to my inquiry promptly and arranged an appointment to look over our problem. He arrived on time and we looked over the moisture gathering in one corner of our basement. He looked carefully at every aspect that could be causing the problem, then we sat down to discuss the situation. He covered the details in-depth, explaining the repair scenarios of each potential cause. I believe we spent about 2 hours looking over the basement. Paul even took the time to remove a long-sealed cap to ascertain the condition of our Palmer valve which, as predicted, was found stuck in the closed position. He fixed it on the spot. Most remarkable of all, Paul then suggested that I call another contractor to examine and repair a potentially blocked exterior drain pipe. This, he said, should be done to insure that the least costly scenario was fully explored. Only then could he feel good about offering his services for a more in-depth repair project. I would (and will) call Accurate Basement for future basement repair projects. They are honest, good people and I recommend them without hesitation.

The appraiser was informative and demonstrated much expertise. The company and work itself went well and as scheduled which our experience with other house repair/improvement efforts is really a stellar accomplishment! We had much stored in the basement so the work for us was substantial (but that would have been the case for any work) We were told when to expect them early in the morning and they were indeed here exactly when scheduled. They had a full crew and seemed very capable and experienced to do what they did. They were very expeditious in the creating the new drainage system, getting concrete poured, scheduling other work related to this (plumbing and electrician) working with local code enforcement officials. When we had questions they were responsive and willing to come to our house late at night when we were home from work. Overall they prepared us on what to move to get the work done. Would have liked some forewarning on the dust/noise this would involve (probably makes sense to have predicted this, but for future customers, it would be good to forewarn). All work was done to top quality standard. I revisited the bid after the job was completed and the work and installed materials totally matched the work they did which is also much appreciated. We live in an area where many people need basement work and this has appeared to have gone very well.

I called on a Thursday and David came Friday morning at 7AM! AWESOME resonsiveness. We went through the basement and a perimeter walk. No issues except for upkeep on my part going forward and diligence for future reference. Now I can breathe... What a great company!!! Professional, honest and absolutely helpful to me as a new homeowner. If I have any issues going forward I will call them without a second thought! Thanks so much!!!

Bob came and looked at a couple of cracks in our foundation wall. He was incredibly professional, nice, and patient with my questions. I would recommend Accurate Basement Repair to anyone.

Paul was on time and very professional. Paul walked around the outside of our home to assess any issues that may be contributing to efflorescence on our basement walls. Paul educated us about the need for mudjacking or replacement of the sidewalks that are beginning to slope toward our home. Paul explained in detail the system we currently have in place and ways to maintain the sump pump as we have not previously had a home with this type of system. Paul advised that basement work was not needed at this time. He cautioned us about monitoring our gutters for overflow and encouraged the concrete work to be done in the near future. Paul provided us with suggestions for contractors who may be able to perform the work when we asked him for recommendations. I would highly recommend this company for assessment of any basement issues you may be having. The estimate was free and for the amount of time spent with us this could have easily been a service that the company charged for.

Prompt and patient - spent a lot of time investigating the problem and talking through what could be an estimate for work. However, without the drain-tile test, and since it couldn't be completed by them, this was more educational than a quote for work.

Accurate made a number of visits to answer my questions and explain the process. They suggested and I hired an independent structural engineer to look over the project before we settled the details which, though it also cost money, was a good thing to have done. It reinforced their assessment and work plan and reassured me. Amazingly, the work was completed in two days of big equipment zipping around, and lots of noise as concrete was cut and smashed to remove. There were many men working hard; they didn't stop for lunch. I saw one man eating a sandwich at the bottom of a narrow trench that was over his head. They all had assigned jobs and were focused on their tasks. The equipment came and went as needed; a narrow bulldozer, then dump trucks, and finally their own cement mixer that unfolded from a trailer. And at the end of the day there was no sign of the dirt and sand that had been dumped by the truckload on the road, almost blocking it. The cost was huge, but the work needed to be done. Now that my home is back to normal, I am still amazed at all that was accomplished in a competent manner and in a short period of time,

From the initial consultation with Paul Vaccaro to the completion of the job, I was impressed by the professionalism demonstrated by everyone at Accurate. Paul spent time with me to assess my water infiltration problem. Shortly after Paul's visit, I received a proposal by e-mail. The proposal, which I accepted, was competitive and reasonable. Accurate's job scheduler, Cristella, was able to accommodate my busy schedule. At the end of each day, I was given a list of what had been accomplished. The real test took place during and after the first heavy rain. No water infiltration! I am very pleased with the work done by Accurate.

They are highly professional, punctual and cleaned up after themselves. The price was good and the customer service department was AMAZING. Every employee made it their goal to make a positive difference. I can't say enough good about this company. They made me feel like a person instead of a dollar. It is obvious that they genuinely care about how they are providing the best service to their customer.

I was blown away by Bob and his team! They arrived early, inspected the outside and inside of my house and determined I did not have a foundation issue. Bob made recommendations for what to do when the issue happens again (watch the gutters, roof, etc.). They were also great with my very excited dog. I was very impressed that they didn't charge me for the visit, or recommend repairs I did not need. If (and when) I have issues with my basement I will definitely use them to do the repairs.

Although no one wants to spend $20,000 on their basement unless they are making a finished living space, our work had to be done in order to get prepared to sell our home. The work was amazing. Came in with a crew and equipment and were very efficient and considerate. Cleaned up well after each day. Took great care not to damage our lawn due to heavy equipment that was necessary to complete the job. Everything was explained to us in an easy to understand way. I sent Bob a few emails with questions and he always responded quickly and gave me the answers to my questions. It was a pleasure doing business with Accurate Basement Repair. I would use them again although I hope that I won't have to. I would highly recommend them for anyone that has basement issues. The work comes with a 20 year warranty that is transferable one time to a new owner. Even provided business cards for other services we asked about. We have had numerous heavy rains since the work was completed and our basement is bone dry or the first time in the 17 years we have lived here. A++!

Technician was on time, explained the likely cause of the crack in the basement wall, process involved in correcting the ;problem and repaired the problem exactly as he described. Repair is under warranty for three years. Excellent result, great technician. We are very satisfied.

Paul spent an adequate amount of time in both my basement and an outdoor walk-around of my house. I was pleasantly surprised to find out from him that we do not need any basement repair services at this time. He recommended a number of external landscaping, water drainage, grading, and patio improvements but said that our basement is good at the present time. His advice seemed practical and doable, and in addition to making suggestions he recommended people we could contact to get the work done that his company does not perform. I learned a lot from his business and appreciate the time he spent, despite the fact that it did not lead to a sale for his business. This did not seem to bother him at all and he was pleasant to work with.

I am extremely happy with the honest assessment Paul gave me regarding dampness on my basement wall and his help finding the right kind of contractor to fix the problem. Specifically, Paul saved me thousands of dollars because the company I had previously had come out told me the only way to fix water dampness on my basement wall was to completely removed and replace the wall. If that company had been timely in giving me a quote, I probably would have had perfectly good cinder blocks replaced. But Paul was significantly more responsive. What I learned from Paul is the problem isn't primarily a basement wall problem; it's a gutter and drainage problem. I am writing this review because I'm not hiring Paul (and Accurate Basement Repair) because he doesn't do gutters - and he didn't recommend a major excavation where it wasn't needed. Instead, he helped me find a contractor that does the kind of work I need done. I am thankful for that kind of service.

I was impressed with the professionalism, politeness, thoroughness, and honesty of the serviceman, Bob and his associate. Bob was polite as he introduced himself and his associate; although, I do not recall her name at this time. He immediately explained the process he would be following at this appointment. We then went down to the basement and he made an evaluation of the water staining on the floor. He asked many questions; appeared to be very knowledgeable and was quite thorough with his evaluation process. I was pleasantly surprised at his honesty when he stated that I did not have a leakage problem, although I was certain the huge area of water staining on the floor had to be abnormal! He took the time to explain how he came to his conclusion. Bob also took the time to answer all my questions. He never made me feel as though he was in a hurry to leave. He even brought to my attention two other unrelated issues I needed to address with a plumber. He also reassured me that even if another company tried to convince me I needed to have repair work done, his evaluation was accurate. I felt confident in his conclusion. Furthermore, even though he had addressed the reason for the service call, Bob asked if he and his associate could go around the outside foundation of the house to evaluate for any source of current or future water leakage issues. I was impressed that they went above and beyond what I felt was required to address the reason for the service call. He brought to my attention 1 minor issue outside which I was already aware of. In addition, neither Bob, nor his associate ever tried to mislead me in an effort to secure a contract for repairs! So, in the end, I was pleasantly surprised at how much attention was given and time was spent on a "free estimate" service call! I was extremely impressed with every aspect of this service call and would not hesitate to use Accurate Basement Repair in the future! Accurate replaced our interior drain tiles and braced two walls over a year ago for us. We do continue to be pleased with the results and even after a 14 hour power outage, we did not have water in the basement. Now that we are refinishing the basement, our carpet installers had concerns about nailing into the new concrete. We called Accurate and they connected us with the engineer so that we could easily address all questions and complete the work. Accurate was willing to talk with the installers to answer any of their questions.

We hired Accurate for foundation repair and related services as part of our home sale process. The team did an outstanding job to complete the work on time and helped us meet all of the deadlines and requirements to ensure we closed on the sale on time. Accurate was able to assemble a team to complete the work in less than half of the time quoted by others we had bid on the project. Accurate also included demo in their bid and was also able to engage an HVAC technician if we so needed. All of the people we interacted with at Accurate were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient - including Paul (our primary contact), the office staff and the onsite crew. We were very impressed with the Company and would not hesitate to recommend or hire them again.

It turned out great. They came on time, and they cleaned up after themselves.
