I called and got to talk to someone immediately who made an appointment for an estimate. She was very helpful and friendly and left a reminder voicemail the day before. Dave arrived a few minutes early, was professional and courteous. He gave me his opinion, which made good sense and I will definitely hire Accurate if and when my situation warrants repair.

Instead of spending thousands in repairs, David told me all I needed was to add dirt next to my house to increase the grade so rain would run away from my home. He even told me how to clean the little bit of mold in the corner of my basement. Instead of spending thousands, all it will cost me is a few bags of dirt and some elbow grease. Thanks David!

It went very well. The men were here for 2.5 days to complete the main work. The following day the plumber came in and finished the work with the water heater, water softener and installed the new sump pump. If I asked any questions along the way, everyone was very friendly and would gladly answer the questions. Each day they cleaned up all of their work and any messes. We did have 1 follow-up item which they took care of right away. I am very pleased with what they have completed and look forward to not worry about cracks in my basement anymore!

Accurate was excellent over all with all their services. We contatcted them while we had an accepted offer in our home sell as part of an issue was found during the home inspection. We had a few other foundation contractors come and give us bids, but Paul from Accurate was very detailed with explaning everything and did not try to just make a sell with us. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a foundation work.

Dear C and D, I apologize for my delayed reply. Frankly, as the customer, I’m tired of feeling like a ‘nag’, of the constant ‘one thing after another’ with this project. I’ll bet you feel the same. So here is my feedback that I would appreciate you thinking about and comprehensively responding to. From a project management standpoint, I needed to phone Accurate to learn of the project schedule dates. In hindsight, this is indicative of my sense that Accurate assumes we would be available whenever its convenient for you without acknowledgement that I/we also have busy schedules. Speaking of schedules, I’d planned on two days to complete based upon discussions with C. Pretty hard to accomplish when the plumbers didn’t arrive until half-way of the second day. This job spilled into a second week and, to my satisfaction, is not yet complete. D gave great emphasis about the preparation of the site, including the use of an air scrubber and dust barrier. Well, while it was taken downstairs, the air scrubber was never used. Further, the dust barrier was not completed, neither to the joists, nor around the circumference (I had cleared a 6-8 foot path around the entire basement perimeter for this purpose). Neither were the hvac vents covered. We have been dusting ever since your crew left and continue to do so. On the first day your crew did a half-hearted job of covering the floor just inside the house where they went in-and-out. On the second day they did not cover the floor at all. On the fourth day the carpeted stairs were not covered and were soiled beyond our ability to clean ourselves. We like to think we’re good stewards of our home and keep in clean and well-maintained. I was offended by the repeated lack of respect for our property. We repeatedly requested they close the exterior door behind them as they entered our home, which fell on deaf ears. D, you mentioned the crew would take great care on the exterior of our home, including the use of protective lumber where the equipment would be. Not until too late did I ask your crew to protect our garden and sidewalk. Also, I mentioned the indentations on our asphalt driveway. Speaking of gardens, there is concrete in our front bed from the crew cleaning-up after the second day. I am hopeful that the plantings will survive. Your guys also left nylon rope all over the side yard on the north side of our home. The carpeting was not reinstalled at the base of the stairs. And, someone completely trashed the millwork at the base of the stair landing. Also, the water softener still leaks, despite numerous follow-ups over the weekend (between days three and four). I also question whether the iron curtain was reinstalled properly as the configuration is obviously different and we have detected rust in our lines. The water softener did not have a battery installed in the alarm device, causing a constant loud and irritating alarm for my wife to endure that entire day. Also, I question the placement of the pump float, or whatever activation device, as the pump only turns on for a second or two and does not completely drain the crock. Maybe this is normal, but it is quite different than our existing pump. Speaking of the existing pump, it was never re-plumbed as specified. I believe you have many pleased customers as evidenced by your longevity. But this job was a clunker. As I told D, we feel taken advantage of—totally screwed. Overcharged and underperformed. Our basement might be dry, but virtually nothing else inside or outside our home is the same. This is unconscionable. Following this email I will send about 12 photos for your perusal. I was told many times that “Junior” would perform a site inspection after completion, but I’ve never seen him. We corresponded with the company for over six months and were assured the owner would contact us and visit the site. The owner's visit did not occur until mid-November (the work was started in April). We are paying over $5,000 to restore our home to the condition it was in prior to Accurate Basement Repair damaged our home.

Paul at Accurate Basement called and we discussed the situation at length. He advised us to hire a Structural Engineer, in which he gave us the names of 2 Engineers to work with. In the end the Engineer was able to resolve our situation. Paul and Accurate didn't even charge us for the consultation! High firm and individual!

With the inspection performed we found the condition of the foundation was acceptable. I would not hesitate to use this company or recommend them to family and friends.

Chris was extremely friendly, punctual and helpful. Went to the house to consult with plumbers, and helped them find the appropriate area to tie into drain tiles. (Initial plumbers dug where they thought drain tiles would be, could not find them). Chris' expertise in older drain tile systems (Bay View house built in 1920's) was instrumental in my finishing sump installation on time and on budget.

Accurate recently repaired my basement wall this fall. Right from the start, when Chris came out to give me the estimate, I was blown away by his professionalism and his ability to bring me through every step of the repair process. When the crew came out to do the job, they were on time, and I was amazed with how quickly the work was finished. They even replaced my old basement windows with glass block during the repair. The end result looks great! The walls are back to straight, and all of the cracks were repaired. Overall, they had great communication and they were efficient, professional, and reasonably priced! We contacted Accurate for Urethane Injection service. Process was smooth and painless, despite the fact we had some difficult cracks to seal. Responsiveness, professionalism, and follow up was excellent. I especially appreciated that they made sure we were satisfied and job was done right. Process worked well and cracks are sealed. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

We could not have been more pleased with the service we received from Accurate Basement Repair and Brian Leffler. A+ service. He was the third "wet basement" company we have seen, and he was the first one who I felt was really interested in helping. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I was very impressed.

Over the past year we have had numerous contractors and companies at our house doing everything from electrical. roofing, siding and other various needs. Unlike most of the others, Accurate was on time, got right to work and worked tirelessly to finish our job. They laid down drop cloths to protect my floor from the front door all the way downstairs into our basement. Plastic was put up to protect the rest of the room from the dust and activity - they even had a professional air cleaner running the whole time to reduce dust. When the village inspector suggested an extra drain tile test the owner of Accurate was out in 15 mins to help the team do the additional work. I wish the other contractors we had valued my time and business as much as Accurate did. I would not hesitate to use Accurate again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Paul arrived 15 minutes before the appointment. He inspected the basement walls I was concerned with on the interior. He pointed out areas for concern with mold spores and pointed out a possible issue with one of the basement windows that looked to be bowing inward. He inspected the outside walls, as well, and determined that I did not need his company's services at this time, but he would be willing to provide a quote if I wanted to move forward. I felt there was no need. Paul also provided me with a third party contact to determine air quality and the type of mold he saw, if I wanted to take that step. Finally, he made recommendations on how to improve the integrity of the basement walls to prevent moisture from getting through. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I would call this company again.

We had Accurate Basement replace 3/4 of our drain tiles in September and were very pleased with how they explained what needed to be done and why. Their workmen were very accommodating, professional and courteous. For a difficult and dirty job, they were respectful of our property, needs and their clean up was greatly appreciated. This is the 2nd project they completed in the last 10 years and again found their price to be very reasonable, a trusted company and highly recommend them.

Dave came and concluded that we didn't have a basement problem and suggested to check the Furnace. He was correct! Dave is a true professional. He knows his stuff!!

Very well. Since we do not live in the property the communication lacked on the progress of the project. The Estimator, Brian was fantastic. A true educator and helped us understand the huge project and his integrity showed through the entire process. He even called after the project was completed to see if were satisfied. Very impressed. They left the property debris free, cleaned up after the work was complete and ended the project as the timeframe was detailed in the quote.

Bob is a true professional. He has come out to my house twice to provide quotes for foundation work and has offered multiple solutions on how best to solve the problem prior to spending thousands of dollars on what might be unnecessary work. He provided advice on gutters, down spouts and rain barrel problems. I have implemented most of his recommendations and have seen significant improvement. I will once again implement his most recent advise which will hopefully completely solve the water problems. This company is great and does not try to sell you on expensive, unnecessary work. I had several other companies from Angies List come over and not one other provider took the time to inspect the outdoor areas to look into alternative solutions. Accurate Basement Repair deserves an A++++. If I ever need work done related work done I will definitely call Accurate. Thanks.

Accurate was very prompt to the work site. and had a very large crew to execute the job. They were highly skilled, efficient and worked quickly to complete the job. It took approx 7-8 hours or so to complete. Since then, a few items I noted needed to be addressed, I called Accurate and they came to take care of all of these items. At my request, provided me with a 20 yr addendum to my 20 yr, guarantee to include the water pipe repair. They have gone the extra mile to do whatever it takes to please the customer, and have demonstrated that more than once. They realize that this is very stressful situation for the home owner, and are willing to answer questions, and provide the support one needs to feel comfortable about the job. I am not easy to please, I changed my mind a few years ago when I thought I was going to go ahead and do the wall. I sent them the deposit, I changed my mind......they sent me back my check, no questions asked. I knew then, I wanted Accurate to do the job, so when I was ready, I felt very comfortable with my decision. They indeed are the best, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs any foundation or basement repair.

Paul Vaccaro knows houses inside and out. He uses what he knows to assess a situation, then, best of all, communicates that assessment in a way few people can. His combination of knowledge, applied knowledge, and a wonderful way of speaking with people is extraordinary. In the most respectful and friendly manner, he dealt with a prospective buyer and an agent, my wife and me as owners, and, indirectly, with an appraiser who required that a basement specialist be brought in. Everything on the spot and in the follow-up was thorough and professional. Things did not work out with the prospective buyer so we did not hire Accurate Basement Repair. If, however, Paul's work is any indication of the way the rest of the company operates, it would be a pretty easy decision to hire these guys for basement repair.v

The work started with accurate putting one of the support beams thru a basement window. They didn't turn off any ventilation or heat during their work. They used no protective sheeting prior to starting. It has been 2 weeks and we are still cleaning. The window that was promised to be repaired in 2 days, took 2 weeks. We tried to cover the opening but got bugs starting to come in our home. They called and asked why they didn't receive the last payment and we said our window hadn't been repaired yet. They claimed they didn't know anything about it. I would not recommend them.

Whenever we had a hard rain, we had seepage into our basement in three different locations. Our home inspector recommended Accurate Basement Repair as a reputable contractor and they get very high marks on Angie's List. So we contacted them and first had them do a test in several areas of the basement to determine whether our original drain tile system was still working. We scheduled the test and they came out and performed the work, which entailed creating a one square foot hole in basement floor in the three areas where we had been experiencing leaks. They flushed water at the foundation and before long the leaks once again occurred. As a result of the test they recommended that we replace the original drain tile system. Paul Vacarro, the estimator and our main contact throughout the project, explained in great detail what exactly would be done in replacing the existing drain tile system. We scheduled the project several months out, giving ourselves time to clear out the basement. The work took about 2 1/2 days to complete and they took care to cover up items with plastic sheeting. They also put down canvas over stair carpeting and other areas of the house where they needed to walk. The crew was very polite and professional and worked impressively together as a team. Jimmy was the crew leader and he and his team did an excellent job. In total they excavated a total of 144 linear feet of drain tile. Throughout the project the communication was excellent and we always found it to be both thorough and timely. We would highly recommend Accurate Basement Repair, without reservation, to anyone needing quality work at a reasonable price.
