Description of Work: My review starts at a very stressful time in my life. I was dealing with the grief of my grandmother having just passed away . I was already overwhelmed with the major task of getting all her affairs in order when I was informed that I would not able to sell her house because the basement and foundation had so many issues that it would never pass a home inspection. It seems my grandmother had never kept up with the homes maintenance ever since my grandfather died 15 years earlier. So in order to sell my grandmother's house I would have to come up with a considerable amount of money that I really didn't have to fix all these major basement issues . Add to this the fact that I no longer lived in Wisconsin, so it is was very important that I hire somebody who was very professional and could get this job done right the very first time because I could not afford to go back and forth. So I set out to find a basement repair company in Milwaukee. To say that I had got a bid from every basement company in the city would be an understatement. This was a big investment for me, I literally talked to them all. But I ended up choosing Accurate basement. Now it is true that accurate basement did in fact come in with the lowest bid but actually that was not the reason I chose them. The truth is there are a several companies that seemed very professional and their salespeople were all very nice. But all the talk was always the costs of this and that, drain tile work, well reinforcement all this lingo I really didn't understand anyway. When Chris from Accurate basements showed up at the house all the same bases were covered but with the added benefit of him actually taking in consideration the seriousness of my personal circumstances. My gut told me to choose accurate basements and thank God I did. To make a long story short all the work was done on time. I was kept in the loop with all the progress and most importantly the work was done right the first time without me having to travel back and forth. The house ended up passing the inspection with flying colors enabling me to get it sold. The truth is I'm not a big review writer I just don't have the time. But after the way that Accurate basements went above and beyond the call of duty and really did get me out of a big jam I thought it was only right to let everybody else out there know. If you're going through a basement repair nightmare Accurate basements is the company to call.

Description of Work: Excellent crew, hit the ground running when they arrived. Very polite, clear about work to be done and updated progress. Did a great job of cleaning up during and after a really messy chore. Came in right on budget. Would hire these guys again, no question.

Description of Work: Drain tile test. Excavated one whole wall plus about 5'around both corners and braced these walls, plus another 8' area where there was water in the wall. Tuck pointed all cracks in walls. Closed up sump pump crock improperly installed by previous owner. Installed new crock for new sump pump along with the new pump. All walls excavated were waterproofed on outside, and the front stoop was removed and replaced. They did a great job. Shrubs had to be removed and they took them away, along with all the concrete. They did a great job!

Description of Work: Came out looked at the basement and offered me excellent advice. Really decent people, I would recommend them to anyone looking for basement repair work.

Description of Work: Reinforced two basement walls and tuckpointed several points in the cinder block basement. They did an excellent job. Everyone from the office staff to the crew were timely, professional, and thorough.

Description of Work: Paul was very helpful. We thought that we might have a serious problem with our basement, but he explained an easy fix that we could do on our own. We will definitely call him again for any basement problem.

Description of Work: They looked over the situation in my basement. It was determined to be a problem with the slope of the driveway and emailed me the information on some concrete companies that I might use in the spring. They explained the situation very thoroughly and answered my questions.

Description of Work: They came out to diagnose a wet basement wall and provide an estimate on fixing it. He said it was a specific problem that if I could probably fix myself by installing a French drain on one side of the home. He drew a detailed drawing of how to make it, with measurements and a materials list. And said there was no charge! Phenomenal! My son installed/built the French drain last summer and all looks good so far.

Description of Work: They excavated the whole wall, installed drain tile, sump pump, and waterproofed the wall before backfilling with about 3 feet of stone all the way to the top of the wall.
