Accurate Basement Repair

I was asking some questions on a house we are trying to buy. This house has work done by Accurate Basement Repair with a warranty. Paul Vaccaro was the original project leader on that house. He answered my questions in detail and followed up further questions on weekend, helping me understand what needs to be done (such as grading) if we own that house in the future. I wanted to say, Paul is providing me an amazing service while I am not even close to be a customer yet. I can only imagine he would take every other customers even better. I definitely will consider Accurate basement repair in the future if any work in need of service for basement. Thanks!

Excellent. Bob (the rep who came) was very informative and explained everything he checked, what was needed to correct the problem.

Told us concrete had settled again and needed mud-jacking or replacement. No charge for coming out. They don't do concrete work.

I had gold-star customer service from Paul who looked at my basement issue (it was a free estimate). I thought I needed one type of repair done, but he was honest and told me it was a much simpler fix than what I thought I needed. He referred me to some other companies and took the time to give me multiple DIY solutions for other issues I was having. I was blown away at his honesty, knowledge and felt an immediate level of trust. That says a lot about the character of the company and its employees (I tend to be very skeptical about contractors since I have had bad experiences before). Although I will not be getting work through the company because it was not needed, I highly recommend Accurate Basement Repair!

Accurate Basement did a wonderful job on the drain tiles and sump pump they installed. Chris was very good at explaining what work was going to be performed and why. The crew was energetic, efficient and completed the work promptly. Although this is a very messy job, the crew did a commendable job of cleaning the basement area. Chris also quickly followed up on questions after the work was completed. The work was completed in December 2017 and now with the heavy rains my basement is dry! WooHoo!

I was selling the house and did not live there at the time, so I just handed it over to them and stopped by periodically. Every time that I stopped by, one of the owners was on sight, and the crew worked very well together. I can't say enough about the price. When I recommended Accurate to a friend, they were able to do the job at almost half of the price of other quotes. It has been a couple of years and the new owners are vey pleased with the results.

From a pricing perspective they were within our range and were comparable to the other estimates we received. Once a date set for the work to be completed, there were no delays. Their staff showed up on time, they were well prepared and worked diligently to complete the job with as little disruption as possible. As this undertaking was new to us, we had a lot of questions. Their office staff, on sight managers and all other individuals we interacted with graciously answered all of our questions. Once completed, their work passed all city inspections. Paul Vaccaro did the initial inspection and gave us an estimate as well as came back to check the concrete floor at the foot of the wall for support. Accurate has so much business that it took almost a year for them to return and do the work. But the wait was worth it. Each time Paul came by he gave me helpful advise on how to keep the basement dry and sound. We had had no major problem with water leaking into the basement except during two heavy rain spells. Paul recommended a few solutions to prevent the leaking from occurring again. "If you do these things you can probably avoid having to call us again!" he said. Paul also gave me advise on maintaining the Palmer valve. The crew that came to do the actual installation of three steel support beams were on time and very courteous and professional. I feel confident that Accurate has expertly addressed the issue of this bulging basement wall as well as provided helpful advise on maintaining a dry basement for years to come.

I went with Accurate based on other reviews and recommendations. They did an excellent job, were on time, cleaned up, and were communicative throughout the process. They were a little higher than the other quotes, but based on the stories I've heard, it just seems like foundation work is the epitome of "you get what you pay for." It's better to pay a little extra up front to avoid the risk of paying a lot more later.

Extremely well. Paul was meticulous with estimates, giving us three contracts as he determined exactly what our job would entail. The crew was prompt, efficient, professional. Cristela kept us updated as the work progressed and was always available to answer our questions and run interference with the inspectors and sub contractors. This was a HUGE job and I cannot be more pleased by our choice of Accurate. I would highly recommend them.

Chris Mancuso came out immediately and gave us professional advise on how to address the situation. Chris also responded immediately when we were concerned about a crack in a foundation wall in a home we were purchasing.

Chris Mancuso and his crew did a fabulous job of repairing our basement. The price was very reasonable, the quality of the work was top-notch (he inspected), his team showed up right on time, and finished all the work in a single day. It was amazing watching them work. Everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing without needing to be directed. Very professional. Also, they laid down a double row of large plywood boards and used that to drive their construction vehichles on. The lawn was not damaged at all.

Brian Leffler came to my house to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done and explained everything in great detail and took his time answering all my questions. Once I received his estimate on the cost of the project, I was very pleased and it was the best price from the three area companies I had give me a quote. After setting a date, Charlie and his crew came on time and did an excellent job installing the beams and tuck pointing. They made sure to leave my basement just as clean as it was before they got here. I would highly recommend Accurate Basement Repair.

Paul came to review my basement needs and give me an estimate. He was extremely experienced and knowledgeable in his trade. Even though I didn't have an immediate need for repair, I will definitely be turning to them for future needs. Paul took the time to educate me on my home and I learned a lot of preventative techniques.

Perfect! We will never hire anyone else for our basement needs. We flip homes and they are our go to for basement issues. We have used them before and will continue to in the future!

Paul was very friendly and informative. He explained that the hairline cracks were not a concern and common. He also gave recommendations for updating the drainage. I appreciate his honesty and not trying to oversell services that are not needed.
