We were very pleased because he was honest and told us that the foundation is not the cause of the leaking and offered other suggestions as to the cause. He did not charge anything for the visit.

It went very well, I was very happy with the service.

I did the other providers. One was a no-show. They gave me a bid. I was happy with that. I went ahead and sent the contract in after about a week with the down payment. Then I just kind of knelt down and thought I can't do this now. I've got too much going on financially it would be better if I waited a couple of months maybe. I'm only like postponing it. Then I called them and said, "Is there any way I could just cancel this?" They said, "No problem. Shoot me an email.", which I did. This company is fantastic. They cancelled it. They sent me back my money. They just said, "Whenever you're ready, you let us know. We're happy to do business with you." I could not rate them anymore highly than I do. They sent me back my contract and my check. They were wonderful. I told them that I would praise them highly. They not only do they provide a service for your home but they also listen to you and they understand. I said, "Now, this is a huge job for me having a whole wall of your basement being dug to the ground." It's not a minor job and yet they totally understood where I was coming from." "Hey, we hear you. Don't worry about it. Whenever you're ready, let us know." I just want to commend them for doing that. I told them when I am ready emotionally and financially, he said, "Just let me know." That means a lot to people who sometimes have second thoughts or they back toe a little bit that maybe they want to postpone it or cancel it. You want a company who's going to say, "Hey, no problem." They are the best. Whenever I had questions, they answered them right away. No problems. They were completely understanding. They didn't, in any way, make me feel like I was overreacting. They just said, "Okay. Alright." They were very kind to me. I could not recommend that business anymore highly than I do.

Upon arriving, he gave us an assessment that allowed us to make an informed decision on what next steps to take. He was honest and straight-forward with us (which, as you can imagine, we appreciated). If we move forward on any work, we will definitely hire Chris and Accurate Basement Repair.

They showed up when expected and got all the drain tile in the first day and moved the sump pump and crock. Came a couple days later and poured the concrete. We were on a tight schedule due to the sale of our home and the unexpected water problem in the basement. They contacted my Realtor to determine exactly what type of work our buyer expected. They allowed us to do the demo work to cut down on the cost a bit as well. They kept in contact with us, checked on the demo we had done as well as explained what else needed to be done before the guys came in to work. Everyone was very professional, showed up on time, and worked hard to get the job done asap so that we could continue with the sale of our house and not lose our buyer.

Our basement has managed for 50 years without a sump pump but radon specialist found some water underneath the basement slab when he wanted to install his radon pump. He just wanted to make sure that we do not need a more fundamental repair. Paul was really responsive. He inspected our basement and looked at the crawl space. He determined that despite the minimal water presence, overall basement has not sign of water damage in the corners. He directly spoke to radon company and reassured them of the condition of basement and gave a couple of potential spots for radon pump installation. He did not create an issue to sell services or products and I really appreciate that. He also went above and beyond to coordinate with Radon company. I will definitely use him in future.

It was great. We were afraid and our friends and neighbors warned us that hole would be punched in our basement walls and extensive repairs recommended. It was nothing like that! Paul checked the outside of the house and made several recommendations for landscaping, grading and window well improvements, none which would be done by his firm. He checked our basement, reassured us that the water leakage was not as severe as we feared, and explained exactly what we would need to do to avoid an extensive basement repair job.

About a month ago Paul came over to look at our basement as we had a wet / damp corner. Instead of taking me through his services and giving me a bid for what would have been thousands in repairs he actually suggested to look at a different service provider to fix the problem which was only $400. Paul was very professional and honest and even gave me some other tips to follow to help with future rain water drainage. Although Accurate did not do any work for us I was very impressed with his honesty and professional business approach.

He inspected the problem very thoroughly, and used an instrument to a moisture meter to detect the amount of water. Then he asked to go outside and inspect the grading, gutters, and drainage. After listening to me describe what the symptoms were, and what I thought a solution would be, he suggested a better sealant for use between the driveway and the foundation and offered suggestions so I could solve the problem DIY. He even left me a cut sheet for the sealant he recommended and told me where I could buy it retail. In addition, he mapped out a strategy for me to lower the moisture content og the affected areas in the basement using de-hunidifier and some visqueen. Compared to the other company who came out, spent about 14 seconds diagnosing the problem, and proceeded to tell me I had to rip out my driveway and redo the drain tiles from the exterior of the house, Accurate & their staff are just super. Bob did advise me to do things in phases, and if I exhausted my options to call him back and he would come on out to re-diagnosis the problem. All I can say is you must call accurate for basement problems. They are professional, honest, and loaded with integrity.

I think the test went ok, but when talking about replacing the tile, felt he was being dishonest.

Tim, the guy who came did a wonderful job. He took time doing his job. He explained everything that he was doing. He really did a nice job. His pricing was extremely reasonable considering the time that he was there and the professional work that he did.

We had minor water leaking in a corner of our finished basement due to the big rains this spring. Wasn't sure if there was something more to it than that, so Paul came out to take a look. He was very informative and looked over the entire house inside and out. He answered all of my questions, and explained how my specific plumbing system worked. Paul suggested regrading the area outside where the problem was. He gave me instructions on the proper techniques and described what they could do if the problems came back. I liked the fact that he was honest and didn't tell me I needed to do more work than I had to at this point. If there continues to be leaking issues after regrading, I'll definitely call Accurate Basement back. I highly recommend them!

I contacted Accurate Basement Repair regarding concerns of plaster cracks (ceiling and wall) expanding and some 'shifting' in several areas of my home, concerned that I may have a foundation issue. Chris arrived on time (early, actually) and thoroughly inspected the interior and exterior of my home, asking questions, and explaining his inspection along the way. He was able to assure me that what was happening in my home was a result of normal settling and that it was not of his opinion that I had anything more serious to be concerned with. Considering that I'd spent several anxious weeks worrying about my home having a very serious (and expensive) issue, I felt very relieved to learn from Chris that I had nothing to be concerned about. As a single, female homeowner, it is difficult to know who you can trust with regard to home repairs. I feel that Accurate Basement Repair is a company that I could trust, should I have any type of basement repair needs. I would definitely recommend contacting / working with this company.

After a lot of rain, we noticed a small steady leak of water coming into our basement, in the area where the pipe from the well outside comes through the poured concrete wall into the house. Our plumber was able to temporarily patch the area with hydraulic cement, but he was concerned this would need to be patched or repaired from the outside. I feared a huge bill and a huge mess in my yard, but I called Accurate Basement Repair. They were able to come, drill into the concrete (from inside the basement), and inject the course of the pipe with a plastic type material (I believe polyurethane) that expands to seal the leak and keep it sealed. The whole thing took about 45 min, it worked, and I couldn't be happier that it didn't cost a fortune and it was an easy fix. Thank you!!!

They worked with me because I was going to refinance to pay for the repair, but the bank would not refinance my house without the repair being completed first. Paul, who came to do the estimate said he would be happy to do it, and said send me a check later. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they were to me. I would highly recommend them.

Andrea was our first contact at Accurate and was very professional when she promptly and accurately took our information to set up our appointment. On the day we were scheduled to meet with Paul, he was punctual and spent a lot of time with my wife and me explaining possible sources of and reasons for water entry from the walls. He offered suggestions to us on how we could fix our own issues without the expense of an outside contractor. We were expecting expensive repairs, but he quickly put our minds at ease. Four thumbs up for the quick response, quality time, and information Paul gave us. We feel certain that he may have saved us a lot of money by being so honest. Paul the estimator inspected the basement to assess water infiltration problems we had been experiencing during heavy rainfall and spring thaws. He was very professional, knowledgeable as well as quite easy-going and personable. He gave us an estimate that I felt was very fair and he never tried to sell us anything that was not needed. The crew showed up on time, with an impressive array of equipment, vehicles and tools. The minute the crew stepped out of the trucks, they hit the ground running and began the tedious job of repairing our basement. Everyone on the crew has a task and knows their duties and in no time the excavation began. Despite the inclement January weather, they took great care protecting our modest home while bringing tools, equipment and even a wheelbarrow through the house and down into the basement. The entire job probably took six hours and I was amazed at how clean the basement was upon completion. The electrical work was done by an equally talented and professional electrician. The glass block window that had to be knocked out for debris removal was replaced by a similar window and installed correctly. All debris was removed, the dust levels were kept to a bare minimum and the crew was friendly and respectful of our property. In summary, Accurate Basement Repair earned a solid "A", and I believe Paul and his partners are reputable businessmen who do the job they are hired to do very well. Hire them!

I called Accurate Basement Repair to check out some horizontal and vertical cracks on several of the walls in my mother's basement prior to listing her house for sale. They were very prompt in scheduling a date to come out to inspect the basement walls. Bob showed up on time and gave us a thorough explanation as to what was wrong and how to best proceed with repairs. There was no pressure to use their services. In fact, he also suggested we hire an independent foundation expert to get a second opinion (which we did). He took a lot of time expaining the process of reinforcing the basement walls as well as some possible scenarios that could also come up after digging up the concrete. We scheduled the work and they came out in a very timely fashion. I was anticipating a lot of dust, dirt, noise and commotion, but they were surprisingly very neat. The team that did the work were very polite, communicative, and hard-working. They answered our questions and kept the mess to a minimum. Andrea in the office was very friendly and resposive as well. They did an EXCELLENT job and I would highly recommend them to anyone with basement issues.

We contacted Accurate Basement Repair on Thursday, January 31st. The office person took our information and passed it along to Tim - who specializes in repairs of poured concente basements. He called us back later that day and we explained the issue with the basement wall. My husband asked him what type of materials would be used - and Tim explained to us the process/materials and gave us an estimate based on the information we provided. We agreed to proceed with the repair based on that estimate - and scheduled the repair for the following Tuesday. (It was NOT a matter of urgency for us - there was no water coming into the basement - we had fixed an outdoor drainage issue the previous year - and wanted the crack sealed as a preventative measure.) Tim was very professional - covered the floor before he started, took his time to perform the repair and did a VERY thorough job in sealing the crack in the wall. He cleaned up the area afterward and was extremely courteous. He charged us what he quoted - and we felt that it was reasonable. My husband commented that, after witnessing the repair, he was glad we called a professional who specialized in this type of work and had the proper tools and material for the job.
