AFTER REVIEWING MY RECORDS OF THE WORK I PERFORMED FOR THIS CLIENT, HERE IS WHAT OCCURRED: AS WITH ALL FIRST TIME CLIENTS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING WILDLIFE (SQUIRRELS, RACCOONS, SKUNKS, WOODCHUCKS, ETC.) PROBLEMS, I MENTIONED ON THE VERY FIRST PHONE CALL TO HIM THAT EVERY WILDLIFE SITUATION IS UNIQUE. THERE IS NO "COOKIE CUTTER" SOLUTION, AND THAT WHILE RARE, SOMETIMES FOR VARIOUS REASONS BEYOND A HUMAN'S CONTROL, ANIMALS DO NOT GO INTO LIVE TRAPS, THEREFORE DON'T GET CAPTURED. SO IF THE TRAPPING ATTEMPTS CEASE TO PRODUCE THE DESIRED RESULT, OTHER OPTIONS NEED TO BE TRIED. HOWEVER, ON THE FIRST DAY AFTER THE TRAP WAS SET, A SQUIRREL WAS CAUGHT IN THE LIVE TRAP AND WAS RELOCATED. ON THE FIRST DAY, EVEN THOUGH THE ROOF, ET AL WAS COVERED WITH SNOW, 2 OPENINGS WHERE SQUIRRELS COULD GET IN WERE IDENTIFIED, AND I TOLD THE CLIENT HE NEEDED TO CLOSE THESE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRAPPING PROCESS WAS COMPLETED. THIS WAS NOT DONE BY THE CLIENT UPON THE COMPLETION OF TRAPPING ON 2-4-06, AND I HAD NOT HEARD FROM HIM THAT THERE WAS STILL ACTIVITY GOING ON, UNTIL THIS REPORT DATED 10 MONTHS LATER. THIS WAS A CASE THAT EVEN AFTER EXPLAINING THE SITUATION BEFOREHAND TO THE CLIENT, HE HAD DIFFERENT EXPECTATIONS, BUT HIRED ME ANYHOW. ADDITIONALLY, I HAD COME TO MONITOR THE SITUATION FOR A TOTAL OF 8 DAYS, AND THE CUSTOMER RECEIVED A 10% ($25) SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT.
