I found it hard to get into communication with this group at all stages of the project. Their work took a long time (spanning months), and ultimately failed. I will need to hire a different group now to fix what they did. It would have been better to have hired a more reputable group from the beginning. If you work with them, beware and document everything. Read about it here on their Better Business Bureau profile page: [*** Link removed ***]

Signed a contract and paid a deposit of $850 on March 27. Have called and left several messages and text messages. No response from H and S Handymen. They say they won't waste your money or their time. I will have to take them to court now. Waste of both money and time.
Description of Work: Tuck pointing and roof repair around both chimneys.

They took the deposit months ago and haven't done any work. They have NOT returned my emails or messages for over a month (5 attempts). They are ghosting me. At this point I am leaning towards them being a scam and DO NOT USE THEM. THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND WON'T REPLY.

These guys were great! I hired them to install a laminate floor & baseboards in my lower level & they completed it quickly & professionally! I then used them to install a vanity/sink & toilet. Although the my bathroom was not plumbed for this, they were knowledgeable enough to get it done! I will continue to use them for all my handyman needs. Just a couple of nice guys with great talent!

In a word, TERRIFIC!
Description of Work: 1. Break down an old, queen-sized waterbed frame and dispose of it (recycling as much as possible). 2. Disassemble the new bed frame that had been assembled in a room that was WAY too small, and maneuver all the pieces/parts out of said small room and into where the new frame belonged. 
 3. Reassemble the new frame. See above.

It went very well. They were efficient and came prepared to complete the work we needed done. We love our new fan...its so quiet and does a great job removing the moisture out of the air. The toilet they fixed was an after thought but they ran and got the needed parts and fixed it right away. Im thankful your site lead us to H&S! I will be calling them again when we need help with a repair.
Description of Work: We needed to have our bathroom exaust fan replaced and then they replaced the tank parts on a toilet that ran continuously.
