Description of Work: Kurt was excellent. He helped my clients understand the structural issues that were impacting their home. Not only what was happening, but also the root cause of the issues. He also clearly explained which issues were most concerning versus those that were not. Kurt promptly provided an in-depth, written report, as well. I was very impressed with Kurt Straus at Structural Integrity.

Description of Work: We used Structural Integrity. He took a look at our basement walls after we had worked with some water proofing companies that had given us kind of really different ideas about what was going on.

Description of Work: Kurt was amazing. We had a tough project to accomplish with a lot of variables coming into it. Kurt was able to give us clear direction and his drawing was spot on with both the contractor needs and our design wishes. |Thanks again!

Description of Work: Kurt did a very expert job of engineering a house support problem. He came right out, provided the solution with drawings and answered the contractor's questions clearly. The final bill was considerably higher than the estimate, though he did spend more time doing a thorough job. However his billings were very confusing and I ultimately had to prove to him what I had paid. He needs some bookkeeping help!

Description of Work: Foundation assessment report.

Description of Work: I had many questions about a basement foundation wall problem which I described to him over the phone. He was able to answer all my questions, and did so in a way that really helped explain the situation, and talked me thru some possible solutions. He could not do the job because it was out of his area (the house is in another state), but I was very impressed with his knowledge, and how easily he was able to explain complex situations in ways I could understand.

Description of Work: Kurt did an amazing job figuring out how to merge the two sections of our house, old and new, so they looked like it has always been this way. Kurt also figured out how and where to put structural supports.

Description of Work: Kurt performed structural analysis on a house foundation. A bit of foundation cracking and sagging was noticed in a home inspection and Kurt followed up this inspection with an analysis of the foundation and cracking. Kurt talked to me personally on the phone for over an hour explaining everything to me and helping me make decisions on the best ways to combat the issue. Kurt also gave me a written report documenting the work and his analysis.
