From my perspective, things went well.

There are lots of horror stories about plumbers, but Stoppleworth Plumbing defies them all. From my first call until the guys left, Stoppleworth was a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely use them again for future plumbing needs. I originally scheduled the house call for between 8-9am, but called the day before to request that the guys arrive between 7:30-8am instead. The woman on the phone kindly agreed to they change with no hesitation, and the two guys Stoppleworth sent over arrived within that new time window. Both of the plumbers were professional, courteous, efficient, and effective ? it was refreshing to work with them. The plumbers who came to the house also didn't try to upsell me, which I appreciated. When I asked whether they would need to replace the valves or whether they could just repair them, they told me that fixing the valves would take 1/4 the time that replacing them would, which would save me approximately $75 in labor charges. The coupon Stoppleworth offers through Angie's List (good for $25 off services for Angie's List members) brought my total for the entire project (2 valves repaired, some copper pipe replaced outside the house, labor, and tax) to $80.00. Even without the coupon, though, the total would've been only $105, which was the least expensive price I could find out of the top-rated plumbers in my area.

Phenomenal customer service. We contacted a number of companies for estimates and to get an idea of what was going on. While there were many conflicting opinions (some companies saying we needed to remove a wall in our bathroom to address the issue; others saying it was simply a pipe that was too small), Stoppleworth took time to figure out the root cause of the situation and took time to give us an estimate (some companies would not). They addressed the situation in the same visit and it didn't require us to remove any walls. The guy who did the work was tidy and cleaned up everything after he was done.

Dillon and Travis showed up just after 11 am and quickly scoped out what needed to be done and where they had to go to do it. Both were very professional and politely answered all my questions as they started the job. Based on the estimates from last Fall I was expecting to pay for the better part of a full hour. I was nearly ecstatic when they finished up in just over 15 minutes, having done a nice, clean and precise job. I ended up only paying for the obligatory 30 minute minimum, but still paid a bit over half of the estimates I had received. While it has only been four days since they replaced the spigot, it works fine, has resolved the prior problem and allowed us to return to regular use of that particular spigot. I would recommend Stoppleworth and would certainly consider them for future plumbing work.

We needed the work done rather quickly to be ready to list our home for sale, they were able to schedule the work fast, the person doing the work called after arriving to look at what was needed and shared all he was planning to do and the approx cost of the materials and he did a great job on the work. Very happy and would certainly use them in the future.

Arrived within a half-hour of the call. Fixed the problem quickly, and was professional. Very good service with a smile.

Replaced broken garbage disposal

They came the next day (even though they were not sure they could with all the frozen pipes they had to deal with. Came in, did the job and got back to us to tell us what to do next and exactly what the damage was. Great service.

Fast and efficient. Had a new washing machine installed and was told by the installers that there was a problem with my water hookup and need to be replaced. Plumber said there was no mechanical issue (problem was from the appliance guys and defective hoses). He could easily have done the more expensive repair I had suggested and I would have been none the wiser, but he was great, explained the problem I was having, fixed it quickly and efficiently. It has been several months and continues to work perfectly (as does the bathroom sink he fixed, which did need repairs). Would definitely trust and use them again for any plumbing issue.

I contacted three plumbing companies for estimates. Stoppleworth's estimate was prompt and reasonable. They responded to my questions about the project in a helpful manner. Two men showed up on time the day of the installation and finished in three hours which was close to their estimated time for labor. They cleaned up the area where they worked. I was happy with their work and would recommend them to others.

It went great. The owner of the company come to do the work when they fixed our toilet situation. He was willing to spend time talking to us and helping us with a couple of other plumbing needs at our home.

Each visit went really well! We found them from Angie's list and knew we had to try them. They were punctually and reasonably priced in our opinion. When we called about the water leak from the hose on a Sunday, they asked up specifics and told us what to do till they could come out Monday. Now they could have come out Sunday, but they didn't want to charge us that fee if it wasn't an emergency. The advice they gave was perfect. Each time we've had really friendly people.

Drove out to Stoppelworths because their ad said they had a showroom with Kohler products. I was looking for a Kohler shower door. Was disappointed that the small showroom only had a few toilets and one bathtub/shower - at least that's all I saw. Person was able to show me pictures in a catalog but I wanted to see the actual product. Need to call if you want to see something specific in the showroom.

Travis was prompt, courteous and explained everything clearly. It took very little time for him to size things up and make the changes. We have had no problems since.

Our previous garbage disposal began to leak, so we purchased a new one and then decided not to install it ourselves. After reviewing plumbers on Angie's List, we picked Stoppleworth Plumbing and left a message. It took two days before we received a response. The service technician arrived promptly and was here for approximately an hour. While he was installing the disposal, he discovered cracked PVC tubing and replaced that as well. We've had no problems with the disposal and it's been working just fine. The technician also reviewed the situation in our basement where I would like a utility sink installed, so that the office could get back to us with an estimate. We did not receive a receipt at the time the work was done although my husband paid the total amount the technician indicated. I requested a receipt by e-mail, which we eventually received. As mentioned above, we also requested an estimate on having a utility sink installed in the basement and the estimate arrived two weeks later after a reminder. I am obviously out of touch with local plumbing prices because the $85 for first half hour and $25 for every additional 15-minutes seems excessive to me. We did have a $25 Angie's List coupon that helped take the bite out of the bill ($155). The projected cost for the utility sink installation also came in more than anticipated. We will need to do some additional research or get another estimate before choosing a plumber for that project. We have no problems with the quality of the work done by Stoppleworth Plumbing, so we may consider hiring them again, but more timely responses from the office would have been appreciated.

Excellent! Called yesterday for service - dealt w/a very pleasant woman - and made arrangements for check today. Was given a 2-hour time frame and Greg arrived very shortly after the beginning of that frame. He took a look at the faucet and wet area in basement. Told me what the problem was and fixed it in very short order. Also told me what to look for in the future and to contact them if there are problems - I definitely will!

Job was very well and professionally done. Would definitely use again.
