Description of Work: Fixed a dripping kitchen faucet that I could not get apart to work on myself. Seems like some plumbers don't want to bother with such small tasks, and all plumbers seem expensive. The receptionist screwed up my original appointment (neglected to schedule it) so I dealt with a no-show, but when we got the scheduling worked out, the plumber (sorry, I can't remember his name) was very professional and had the job done in less than half and hour. Saved about $20 with an Angie's List coupon, so that helped.

Description of Work: Replaced a kitchen faucet that had been leaking. First tried to fix it with a washer, but that didn't work, so he had to come back and install the faucet. Works great now.

Description of Work: They replaced a leaking shower cartridge in our condo unit, and installed shut-off valves to the shower within our unit. Travis was very courteous, prompt and professional. They also were understanding and flexible when we found out that we couldn't do the service as originally scheduled because our condo unit requires 24-hour advance notice for water shutoff.

Description of Work: Took out old bathroom sink, installed new sink and faucets, unclogged bath drain, checked water softener.

Description of Work: Leak under our sink which needed immediate attention. They responded within one hour and fixed the problem. Because it was a Sunday we paid for the convenience and peace of mind knowing we were not looking at a home disaster. Thought the price was a bit high but we have always used Stoppelworth and have always been pleased with the result. we will continue to use them and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Installed replacement gas water heater. Upon arrival as scheduled, plumber first checked the existing heater and ordered the correct replacement size from an equipment provider. While waiting for the new heater to be delivered, the plumber disconnected the existing heater. When the new heater arrived, it was carried down to the basement and the old heater was removed and taken by the equipment provider. When the plumber left, the heater was connecting but not working, and an expert from the equipment provider was called. After the technician arrived, the setting problem was quickly resolved and the new water heater began functioning. | |I especially appreciated the ability of the person to answer all of my questions when I first called for a price estimate. The person provided a good deal of information about the replacement heater before I had to ask specific questions.

Description of Work: I used Stoppleworth Plumbing for two separate jobs. Once to fix my leaking toilets and another to replace three old bathroom faucets. Both repairs were done promptly and professionally. They gave me good advice with both repairs and I am completely satisfied with their work.

Description of Work: Replaced a toilet that had previously been installed improperly many years ago. They had to cut out part of the sewer pipe to get it installed correctly

Description of Work: They were great. Arrived early, did the work quickly and carefully. My only criticism is that we were quoted a rate breakdown for one plumber. The master plumber charged that rate but we were not aware that his assistant also had an hourly rate going. However, they finished the job much faster than anticipated and the total cost was what the office estimated. Nice guys.
